“Very friendly staff. The food arrived quickly and was good. Tables well spaced. Good table by window. Didn't seem overly busy. The only downside was a quite long list of things that were out of stock. Having said that, it didn't affect us first choices we're available. Curry and Scampi. Right next door to the Premierinn. Good job too as it was typical Scottish weather, ie torrential rain !”

“Love this place. My benchmark Chinese test dish is hot and sour, which is really hard to get right, and Mr He does it consistently well. Spring rolls are also consistently excellent, not greasy and packed with good quality ingredients. Have used them five times now and they deliver so quickly! They are our new go to takeaway.”

“We needed a room for one night (travelled up to see Robbie Williams in concert); so we needed a room, and that was it. Didn’t need staff or a breakfast, just somewhere to sleep. And this was PERFECT. Parking is limited but we managed to bag one of the two parking spaces at the front, which was mega handy. The room was meticulously clean, seemed like it was all brand new furniture and very clean and quick thick pile carpet. Instructions to get there and get in were straight forward and easy to follow. Just pick your key up from the lockbox, let yourself into the building and then your room. The hotel was quiet (only saw one other couple while we were there), ideally placed with a bus stop across the road and very clean. Perfect place for a quick overnighter.”

“Let me start by saying that the food was amazing. It got delivered in time, it was still hot and it tasted so good. Also, I ordered two mains and two sides and got stuff for free. The person who delivered the food was also very friendly. Basically, the best Chinese food I've had so far and I honestly recommend it. “I ordered a veg pizza from Pizza Hut and it was absolutely delicious! The crust was soft on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside. The vegetables were fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavour — especially the capsicum, olives, and onions. The cheese was perfectly melted and not too greasy. I also tried the stuffed crust option, which added a cheesy twist to every bite! Great value for money and quick service. If you’re looking for a satisfying vegetarian pizza, Pizza Hut is a solid choice. Will definitely order again!”

“Never been in but they always go out their way. I called cos the app wasnt working. Everything is the same price over the phone. The fish suppers are so good small is a big amount but even the large is still inexpensive and you get 2 Lving at the grassmarket I cannot complain the dirst time. Second time was fine app wasnt working did j get my food yes. I was missing the cheese and curry sauce on my supper but its fine it was still roasting hot and the cheapest place still in Edinburgh and paid at the door and I was their last order I probably lost a pound but a karge fish supper and chips cheese and curry for 15 wothput delivery I cant complain.”

“Had a wonderful 2 days staying at Inchyra , and had dinner here both nights . Food first class , not a great selection on the menu , but what they do , they do really very well . All of the staff , both restaurant and bar are so polite , made us feel special.”

Located in the heart of the botanic garden you will find this place, nice terrace but inside is so cool as well. Downstairs there is a nice shop and part of the museum with expos!”

“Last night, Friday 8th August 2025, I brought a bus load of gig goers, I was feeling pretty hungry,.so I found this place, I ordered the donner kebab, the young lad behind the counter was extremely polite, Aaron I think his name was, we got chatting after he noticed my Geordie accent. He asked if I had a kebab from Edinburgh, and I said no, Aaron said, I'll make you one , you'll never forget, boy was he right!!!!!! Everything was fresh, the chilli sauce was something I'd never seen or tasted before, and unless I'm back in Edinburgh, I don't think i will, it was absolutely beautiful, more like a liquid type sauce, but wow!!!
