“Elizabeth was really wonderful and made our day. She was kind, helpful and very funny. We missed our flight and were scrambling for somewhere to stay. We had booked the farmhouse as it was close and affordable and are so glad we did! The rooms were cozy and clean and the breakfast was really delicious. Elizabeth has been running the B&B for most her life and it really shows in the hospitality she showed us. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to others. There are no fridges in the rooms and the tv is small but that’s part of B&Bs usually anyway.”

“My little girl had her fourth birthday party at Tots Spot and it was fantastic! We had exclusive use of the place for all of her friends and they provided lovely snack boxes. The place all set up for us and spotlessly clean. Sarah was so helpful throughout and couldn’t do enough to help us. It was so relaxed and enjoyable, I would 100% recommend!”

Great range of gluten free options, too which is a big deciding factor in where we eat owing to gluten intolerance. Also good value, had a cider with my meal and the price was good. Will be back. “We visited La Vita Viva as a family of 21 to celebrate my husband’s 60th Birthday and the food was absolutely outstanding — five-star quality from start to finish. Every dish was full of authentic Italian flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. What made it even better was the service we received being a big party not an easy task but we were really well looked after. I would highly recommend and we will be back”

“Hand on heart one of the best meals out we've had in a while, and by far the nicest Chiquitos we've been to. Excellent food cooked and served by excellent staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Niall in particular was very funny, friendly, and attentive. The online booking system was quick and easy to use, and our request on the booking that we were given a booth was honoured by the staff upon our arrival. The food itself was all really delicious and cooked perfectly. We were also impressed by how Covid safe they were. All staff wore their masks properly and the doors into the toilets had a mechanism that allowed you to pull them open using your foot. Would definitely return. 10/10”

“The best authentic Chinese dishes I have ever tried. It's a takeaway only, but the food is always hot, so it's still warm by the time you arrive home (within a 15- 20-minute journey). Chicken, duck, prawns are rich and full of flavour, rice cooked on a daily basis, and thin noodles are succulent.”

“My daughter had her wedding reception at deer park golf and country club, deer park road Livingston on Saturday 28/06/2025 there was 180 guests at this reception and everyone had a great time bar prices were on average catering was good, and the DJ was excellent the room was spacious and the staff were very pleasant, the food for the buffet also was very good. My daughter was given a room to put all extra items in and presents and given the key to go back when she wanted to collect all the items. All in all very good and I can highly recommend this venue”

“During my recent visit to Pizza Hut, I had an awesome experience thanks to my server, Caren. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a big smile that made me feel welcome. Caren was super friendly and always checked to see if I needed anything, like refilling my drink or suggesting what to order. Her recommendations were really good, and it was clear she loved the food there. Overall, Caren made my meal even better, and I can't wait to go back to Pizza Hut again!”

“We go to Tony macaroni Livingston as a family fairly regularly. Each time we are there we are blown away by the service. Claire always does everything that she can to make sure our time their is as comfortable as possible. Having a daughter who has additional needs can make it difficult when eating out, especially because of the issues she has with food. Claire makes this experience one that we actually look forward too. She remembers our family everytime we go, always asks how we all are. She asks my daughter where she would be comfortable sitting and makes this work no matter how busy the restaurant is. She accommodates my daughters food choices and regularly checks if everything is ok. She takes an interests in how both our daughters are and chats to them regularly throughout our visit, ensures they enjoy their time at the restaurant and just generally makes our time there so easy and comfortable, something which doesnt always happen at other restaurants. I would highly recommend going to Tony macaroni, simply because everyone is treated fairly and accepted for who they are. I can't thank Claire enough for the care and compassion she shows our family at every visit. She includes our younger daughter at all times also, doing everything she can to make them feel welcome. Both our girls love going for food and ask constantly when we can go back. Thanks so much again Claire for making a situation that can be so difficult, so easy for us all to enjoy.”
