I unfortunately fell ill my second day into our trip and the hotel offers a service where a physician comes to the hotel to be checked out. This alone made me feel like I was being taken care of and I was appreciated as a guest. The staff was always so kind and cheerful. I am hoping to make my way back to Scotland so I can see more of this beautiful place!”

“This is a delightful wee cafe, very community centred and part of the beautiful Liberton Kirk which sits across the road ( an aside, the church is worth a visit at any time but is a visual delight in autumn as the leaves of the creeper covering the building turn a fiery red. Gorgeous.) The cafe is manned by cheerful and helpful volunteers and the fresh scones, cakes and biscuits, baked on site, are great. Definitely worth a try if you are passing.”
