The vets actually listen to what you say and help make the best choices for your pet. Vets for Pets team are all amazing 5/5 stars definitely!β
βI am so impressed with The Veterinary Centre! I am new to the area and after having many bad experiences with other veterinary practices, I was really nervous about finding a vet for my new puppy. For the first time in a long time I feel confident my dog is in the best care when needed.β
βWe have used Mctaggart vet for years they have always been very helpful and supportive with the care of all our animals. We had to put our beloved Dog Lexie to sleep today and we were supported through out the full process. Lexie went to sleep and was looked after with respect. βVery friendly, helpful staff. Was our first visit and it was nice to know the vet knew Lunaβs history. Everything was explained clearly. Would maybe have liked a breakdown of costs as the price of the appointment came as a surprise. But the service was great and the vet and nurse were very good with Luna.β

βHyndland Street Vets saved the day for our boy Lazare! After 4 years in Glasgow we were moving back to the US and Lazare was denied boarding on his flight from Frankfurt to St Louis because his travel documents went missing somewhere en route during his Edinburgh to Frankfurt flight. (Lufthansa!) On a very busy Friday before May Bank Holiday weekend β HSVS produced an original official heath certificate WITHIN HOURS so we could get him on the next flight. Heβs with us a safe and sound now so I want to extend my sincere gratitude to HSVS for going above and beyond to help us. You all are THE BEST! Thank you!β
βReally pleased to have found this vet. We've brought both cats there and they've been wonderful. One cat is super anxious and the vet did all they could to keep them calm during their visit. Really appreciated that they went out of their way to make it less stressful for her.β

βI've been dealing with Gary at Cathkin over the last few weeks. Gary has been great with my Border Collie Murran, sadly she passed away today. His manner as a vet and a human being was fantastic, he was calm when I felt the pressure of making a very difficult decision and ultimately supported me in it's conclusion. Gary thank you!β
βBeen using this practice for years and have always had good service, though our dog's (and previously cats) have generally been quite healthy so we haven't had much experience of anything very complicated. However our luck ran out recently and one dog developed a serious issue which was dealt with sympathetically and very professionally by both vets involved. Thanks to them he appears to be making a full recovery, for which we are very grateful.β

βWe have never had a bad experience here. Both of our rescue cats have been well cared for, and the excellent service provided here is much appreciated. 21/09/2023 update - my two cats have diagnosed conditions, and I can't fault the treatment they get from the vets and reception staff here. Everyone is so friendly and understanding, and they are both so well treated when we go. I highly recommend this vets4pets surgery. 16/04/2024 (update) - we continue to get phenomenal treatment at this vet surgery. Joana, in particular, is always very attentive and kind, making the whole process as painless as possible. Both of our cats have medical needs, so we are frequent flyers here. The reception staff are always lovely and knowledgeable and I wouldn't go anywhere else. 28/01/2025 (update) - My two girls, Maggie and Tonks, are regular visitors to this practice. We have been with them since we adopted our formerly feral tortoiseshell 7 years ago. Both kitties have individual medical needs and are regularly reviewed by this brilliant team. From Andrea on reception, to the poor nurses that have navigated Maggie's wriggly nail trims, to the team of vets who always go above and beyond to make sure they're doing the best they can for my kitties. Maggie requires a fair amount of medication for different ailments and this can be complex at times. In particular, Joana, Katie, and Shannon, know them both inside and out. They have all independently researched different treatments that could help and ease symptoms and improve her wellbeing and they are always honest about outcomes. I always receive results as soon as they're available and everyone at this practice has taken time to answer any questions I have had. I appreciate the honesty and respect everyone has given us. Due to Maggie's conditions, she has needed a few emergency appointments and this has never been an issue for anyone on the team. They will link in with other specialists to seek advice without hesitation and are always quick to provide feedback. I cannot thank this team enough. If I haven't mentioned them by name, please know that I have noticed them and they are an equally important part of this incredible team. Overall, the staff are kind, knowledgeable, patient, and interested. On the off chance that they don't know something, they will go away and find out. They're also creative and any challenges they have been presented with (usually Maggie) they have risen to and managed to come up with solutions. I could never thank this practice enough.β
βExcellent staff. Friendly, sensitive and helpful from reception to vet. Facilitated a short ntice Friday appointment that most likely saved my pet.β
