“Went looking for a decent whiskey bar while in Glasgow city centre for a couple of nights and found an excellent one. I know a decent amount about whiskey and have a collection of around 40 bottles, so I asked the staff to recommend me something. I told them I had no preference as long as they're smooth on the way down. The lady brought me 4 whiskies to choose from and explained them all. I couldn't decide which to try so I bought all 4, and I wasn't disappointed. All 4 were new to me and I was delighted with the recommendations. Great decor and feel. Great atmosphere. Hundreds of bottles to try. Knowledgeable staff who know their drams.”

“A great place to visit, with 1st class food and service. Down visiting our Son and wanted to go out for dinner at short notice and somewhere where we could take our dog. They good news Little Ho answered our call. Table booked for 19.30 for 5 and Keeva the dog. Thoroughly recommend Little Soho as the food was excellent, great choice of starters, mains and desserts good portions, great service and atmosphere. A great night out. “I was given a gift voucher by my workmates for my birthday. They know I love seafood and my friend from work recommends this restaurant and goes regularly. My partner enjoys steak and so we decided on the Wednesday Surf 'n' turf menu. Absolutely excellent. The staff were attentive, conversational and cared about providing good service. Cosy and non pretentious. The food was exceptional. Every single element was cooked to perfection. The meal I had was one of the best I have ever had in any restaurant. They obviously care deeply about the quality of the food they serve. I'm now planning to return very soon for the full seafood experience This place is a gem!”

“Went to Cottage 10 as a group of 13 people for an 80th Birthday celebration. The staff were VERY friendly and accommodating. They moved tables around so that we could all sit together. Food was served in a very timely manner and was very nice and tasteful. The gents came out with the cake and sang along to Happy Birthday with us, then provided a knife and plates. Everyone in the party left full and happy. We didn't realise before visiting that alcohol is not served , but that wasn't an issue for us. Music was playing in the background and was at a low enough level to hear it, but didn't effect people having a conversation across the table or a few chairs away”

“The staff went above and beyond, assisted me with decorations and had a vegan diet with no coriander and a group of 13 adults, they did amazing, the food was amazing, drinks. I would highly recommend and we celebrated my mother's 80th birthday in still at Jimbu, thank-you to all the staff that made this happen. Tracey”

“A brilliant steak place that is completely under rated. Never heard of it before so when I went and tried it, I wasn’t expecting too much. It was so good! The chateaubriand had a delicious beefy flavour. The vibes inside are still casual so you don’t feel like you need to get all dressed up like nearly every other steak spot. The bon bons were a firm fave for the starter. I didn’t think the mac & cheese, or the garlic mushrooms were worth £6 each so I would steer clear of these as sides! The sticky toffee pudding sundae was out of this world… two delicious desserts combined!”

“We were booked as a group of 8 for drinks only in Jacks Bar. Excellent service from the bar staff with great cocktails to choose from. One of our party is a wheelchair user and everything was very accessible for him and staff were very attentive to move his chair into storage when not required . It got a bit chilly with the air con at one point but staff kindly turned it down on request.”

“I came into Black Sheep coffee for a Monday morning does of caffeine, the coffee shop was clean and had all food items fresh, warm and available to customer. Atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. Euan working behind the till was friendly, welcoming and approachable, able to answer any questions regarding dietaries for food and drink options. Overall, fantastic service and highly recommend there iced Carmel lattes! Thank you ☺️”

“The new menu is fantastic! It’s such a relaxed atmosphere and they really make families with young children feel welcome! It’s not easy eating out with a 2 and a 5 year old but the staff always make us feel at ease, especially Becky, she is brilliant with our boys and always makes sure they get exactly what they want! Alan is great at accommodating fussy eaters too! A brilliant, family friendly place!”

It was a short stay but the staff were very friendly and considerate!the accommodation was excellent and the cleanliness was first class!
