“Exactly what you want in a traditional Glaswegian bar. It's just a shame that the trendy clientele have taken it over. Loved going in here and seeing the old folk up dancing and having a good laugh.”

“I was given a gift voucher by my workmates for my birthday. They know I love seafood and my friend from work recommends this restaurant and goes regularly. My partner enjoys steak and so we decided on the Wednesday Surf 'n' turf menu. Absolutely excellent. The staff were attentive, conversational and cared about providing good service. Cosy and non pretentious. The food was exceptional. Every single element was cooked to perfection. The meal I had was one of the best I have ever had in any restaurant. They obviously care deeply about the quality of the food they serve. I'm now planning to return very soon for the full seafood experience This place is a gem!”

“Loved every single thing at Porter and Rye! Initially, we were running late due to traffic and the person on the phone offered to change our booking time to allow us to still go & have enough time for our meal. Me and my friend got the Friday deal and got one of the starters. My friend doesn’t have alcohol & they were happy to change the drink for a non-alcoholic one. The steak tartare starter was unreal!! Then the steak & sides arrived, a fantastic portion for a deal and everything cooked to perfection. Everything we had was so flavorful and the high quality. It was my birthday and the restaurant offered me a birthday sweet & prosecco along with desert that we ordered which you could tell was made fresh. The service was excellent, Rachel and the team took the best care of us & really felt spoiled. The atmosphere was also perfect, felt very intimate & calm. If we could give more stars we would. A big thank you!!”

“A brilliant steak place that is completely under rated. Never heard of it before so when I went and tried it, I wasn’t expecting too much. It was so good! The chateaubriand had a delicious beefy flavour. The vibes inside are still casual so you don’t feel like you need to get all dressed up like nearly every other steak spot. The bon bons were a firm fave for the starter. I didn’t think the mac & cheese, or the garlic mushrooms were worth £6 each so I would steer clear of these as sides! The sticky toffee pudding sundae was out of this world… two delicious desserts combined!”

“For an act that only got together 6 months ago, they were fantastic! Sing a song a tribute to the Carpenters, were stunning. A full house were thoroughly entertained with classic songs of the period by quality musicians. Thank you so much for your talented performance. ❤️”

“A great place to visit, with 1st class food and service. Down visiting our Son and wanted to go out for dinner at short notice and somewhere where we could take our dog. They good news Little Ho answered our call. Table booked for 19.30 for 5 and Keeva the dog. Thoroughly recommend Little Soho as the food was excellent, great choice of starters, mains and desserts good portions, great service and atmosphere. A great night out. “The staff went above and beyond, assisted me with decorations and had a vegan diet with no coriander and a group of 13 adults, they did amazing, the food was amazing, drinks. I would highly recommend and we celebrated my mother's 80th birthday in still at Jimbu, thank-you to all the staff that made this happen. Tracey”

“Lovely, cosy bar with a restaurant at the back. Good selection of local Glasgow beers. They do cocktails and fantastic food! The arancini balls were delicious and the chips are amazing. My husband said his beef stew was beautifully cooked and fell apart so easily. Really nice atmosphere, very casual, but lovely friendly service. Just off the main road, this is a great little pub!”

“Stopped in for some cocktails with friends last night. No issue getting a table, plenty of selection available with some beers on tap too. Staff are great and will make cocktails not shown on the menu. Look forward to our next visit!”

“Lovely atmosphere, friendly and staff always ready to help find you a seat. It’s not easy to find places where there’s no televisions distracting or disturbing you, which is fine if that’s what you want. Really felt the environment supported, for those who wanted to, to socialise and chat if only just in the passing. Also great that you can bring in food from the surrounding take away places. Good place for a casual night out.”

It was a short stay but the staff were very friendly and considerate!the accommodation was excellent and the cleanliness was first class! “I had an incredible experience at Sarti. The atmosphere was really warm and welcoming, and the service was amazing from start to finish. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely looked after. The food was outstanding. Everything tasted authentically Italian and was packed with flavour. You can tell a lot of care goes into their dishes, and every plate we had was delicious. Overall, Sarti was fantastic. Great service, great atmosphere, and incredible food. I’d absolutely go back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a really good Italian meal.”

“We had an absolutely perfect experience here. Close to city center, 15min walk from both train stations, off the main road so it was quiet and cozy. Food was amazing, drink selection was bountiful, and the staff was kind and knowledgeable. Babbity Bowster has been added to it our "always when able" list. Luke and Harry and everyone else gets a solid recommendation and appreciation.”
