βI've been coming here for years with my husband and cousin, mostly for the arcade. There is a great section of machines to play, from plush grabby machines, and a couple of giant crane games, 2p pushers, barbour snip, virtual reality games, like water-skiing, dance move games, football, basketball, punch bag, tower of tickets etc. Plenty to keep you entertained for hours. There is also an age restricted arcade and a prize station. M&Ds has had a modern update and you can purchase a card to play machines and put credit on them and also to use to build up your tickets for the prize station (not all machine, you still need coins for some). Bistro in the Loch has a good selection of food from sandwiches, cakes, ice cream, with a breakfast menu with additional seating inside aswell as out and drinking bowls for dogs. There is also a bowling alley (Cosmic bowl) with multiple lanes, snooker and pool tables, a sports bar, the recently renovated Montery Jack's with an excellent food menu, a wee gift shop selling mostly sweets (a bit overpriced), Amazonian for seeing exotic animals and a decent sized funfair with various rides, and Krazy Congo soft play. Also, the props and the decoration of the building inside is impressive with so much thought to detail. The staff here are a great bunch of people from the machine maintenance guys, the security guy and especially the manageress, Karen. She's a lovely gal who you see power walking around the building adding glam and beauty to the neon and flashy lights of the arcade. She's always there for a chat and a laugh and just great craic. It's always great to see her. Overall, M&Ds is a great day out with a variety of things to do and right next to Strathclyde country park. There are good options for food and drink, parking is free and plentiful too. There are always events going on at different times of the year and the website or app is a good source of information for keeping up to date and checking for opening and closing times as not every facility opens and closes at the same time. https://scotlandsthemepark.com/opening-times/ Strathclyde Country Park, Motherwell, Scotland ML1 3RTβ
βEarlier this afternoon I visited the Argos store in Dumbarton for the first time and was extremely impressed with the excellent service which I received. Without going into detail, I cannot praise Michelle the Manager highly enough for her friendly, efficient, understanding and professional handling of my problem - which I would add was not of her making. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Argos Dumbarton based on my experience today and I will definitely be using the store again in future. Many many thanks to Michelle.β

βNomination for Outstanding Service β a special member of staff , MD, ASDA Hamilton I would like to nominate Marry D for exceptional customer service following my visit to ASDA Hamilton on Friday evening, 28th November. During my visit, I had already spoken with a couple of team members and through no fault of their own, I still hadnβt been able to find the specialist products I needed and that i didn't even know that i needed. I was just about ready to leave the store thinking the trip might have been pointless. Then I met Marry. Marry immediately stopped what she was doing and gave me her full, undivided attention. Her excellent product knowledge, understanding of product placement and her natural desire to help customers meant she knew exactly what I was looking for and where to find it. Thanks entirely to her, I left the store with everything I needed, something that simply wouldnβt have happened without her assistance. Marry is a special person and a genuinely valuable member of staff. Her warm, professional manner and dedication turned my whole experience around. I also spoke with Martin, one of the on-duty managers, who was equally fantastic. Martin saw exactly where i was coming from and he had an Immediate appreciation for Mary's customer service contribution. I hope this nomination contributes towards any in-house ASDA recognition or rewards for outstanding service, because Marry absolutely deserves it. Thank you for having such wonderful staff who make a real difference to customers. Kind regardsβ
βAlways fantastic service from the girls in little angels, some of the local boutiques should take a leaf from julies book for customer service. Shop is always immaculate, well stocked and they always try there best to accommodate with sizes where possible. I done a click and collect order and it was ready within an hour. Amazing when your last minute with everything. Thanks girls see you for blairs winter collection.β
βA lot better than Bearsden and Douglas. Everyone here is nicer; more like a community rather than going to school in a warzone. Trust me. Teachers are actually nice, wanting to be friends with you. Campus may be old but the teachers teach extremely well to make up for it. Not any dirtier than bearsden. Students are nicer and better people. Accomodates people from Bearsden/Westerton, Torrance, Drumchapel, North Maryhill/Science Park and Milngavie, just to know.β

My son has private lessons hes ASN and Callum his teacher is very good with him and keeps trying to find new ways to teach him and keep him focused, overall would definitely recommend for kids swim lessonsβ
βFor years i ignored this gem because i thought it just sold Sports stuff. I had no idea they sold walking shoes, Anaraks Suitcases, Wellies, Swimming costumes and so much more. This place has everything and more. It is a goldmine of Sport, casual wear and outdoor wear including so many accessories. If you have children and want to get brand names come here. Thankyou Sports Direct for all the Kangol Suitcases. I wish you would stock them again. Staff are very helpful always.β
βPleasant place to shop. The staff are always helpful. One member of staff Mary Walton in particular, is always on hand to provide us with assistance. She is always pleasant, chatty and very helpful. Being of the older generation, her patience and kindness is greatly appreciated.β

βGood size Sports Direct inside East Kilbride Plaza. Looking for girls trainers and there was a good selection within a wide price range. Lots and lots of stuff on sale which i loved. Picked up a few bits. Changing room door didn't lock. Staff were very helpful, friendly and professionalβ

βVery polite staff. We rented a room at Hampton Court after Point A Hotel decided to cancell our reservation made 3 months ago right in the last second without any explanation. We didn't know some of the rooms were with shared bathrooms which was a bit shocking but the staff was very helpful and we paid a but more for another room with its own bathroom. I was nicely surprised by the breakfast. Plenty of choice- Scottish breakfast, cereals, toasts, muffins, fresh fruits, you name it. Very pleased with our stay here.β

βI go there all the time nice staffβ
β5 out of 5 would visit again for another 2 years. The staff really go out of their way to make you feel special, on arrival I didn't need to worry about my luggage and was taken straight to my room. Although lacking in space it features all the amenities that are needed from a bed, TV, kettle and even an ensuite. The in-house food is varied and caters to a wide range of interests. Personally the King rib was a favourite. Aside from 5 star accommodation they also offer many activities such as exercise and a games hall. There was also a comedian performing one of the nights. In all Barlinne is a wonderful establishment and seems to be very popular given the number of rooms that seem to be filled, even with its exclusive status. I don't plan on a return visit in my lifetime as I wouldn't wish to take the place of someone who is yet to experience the wonders it has to offer.β
