“Once upon a time (back in the day) there were oodles of shoe shops. Not so much the story today though. Deichmann fortunately makes up for the poor quality ones in some other well known retailers (Brands not mentioned). I think we are so lucky it survived the pandemic. The stores are bright, clean and well laid out. Lots of good selection and styles. Shoes, boots, trainers, sandals... Staff are always courteous. Prices average for "high street" shoes. If I need work shoes, I go to Deichmann. Recommended.”

“I shop in matalan most weeks and always find lots of nice clothes at reasonable prices. I would just like to mention that all staff are very nice but one member of staff called Sandra goes above and beyond regardless of how busy she is. She is always smiling and so happy at her job. Keep up the good customer care i always enjoy a wee shopping trip to matalan bishopbriggs.”

“Great and knowledgeable staff, good products in a varied price range supporting both the novice camper as well as the more experienced ones. What great service did this store offer me. I was in the unlucky position to have lost my luggage when flying into glasgow, while I was planning on hiking and camping in the Highlands for a few days. One of the staff, Dan the G, helped me out and took the time (1.5 hours) to find all the gear I needed, even offering me a more than decent discount at the end of it all. I definitely recommend going here!”

“Actually Harvey's pool very popular ideal . I wld like to see any faults repaired & to be kept open . As we cdn't even get into a pool last wk( Porto )with my autistic grandson who loves the calming effect of the water & he loves Harvey's pool . All other pools were full a bit of a disgrace actually. Couldn't even get through on telephone to Gallion Kilmarnock & were advertising open until 4 o'clock. Caused mayhem for kids when we were refused entry . Disgraceful. Has any work even started at Harvey's . Makes me question why I'm paying council tax . Think I,LL need a breakdown itemised bill as public path & stairs around my house don't even get cleaned . Disgraceful. So how long is it going to take for Harvey's or is that another place being closed down ?”

“I visited the Royal Exchange, Glasgow Lulu Lemon today for a fit session with Zoe. This was my first time in the boutique and it was such an unexpected experience. The service was 5 star. Zoe took time to listen, ask questions and advise me accordingly, making appropriate suggestions and offering alternatives along the way. She explained the brand philosophies and the unique fabrics designed with each sport in mind. The whole experience was fantastic and I recommend others try it.”

“Perhaps an unusual shop for a disabled customer, but I was looking for a short lightweight waterproof jacket. By chance, I saw the shop on my way through the mall, and on an impulse went in. As my wife and I were browsing we were approached by a salesman. I said we did not need help at that time, but would call him over if we needed assistance. I easily browsed the rails from my wheelchair and navigated my way to an open space to try on a jacket. Our friendly salesman appeared immediately to help where needed to remove my own jacket and try on my selection, perfect fit job done! Payment at the easy to reach card reader was trouble free and we were able to sign up for newsletters and discounts. Great experience helpful staff there when needed, and a good selection of clothing and good stock levels. Braehead is good shopping for wheelchair customers and plenty of easy parking. There are plenty of lifts, and there is easy to access all the shops.”

“So had to go hear as the pram centre let me down badly after 4 weeks . Baby was due . Smyth's toys done everything they could to help went through everything they had in stock and made sure it was what we needed to our requirements. Staff was super friendly. And we got what we wanted and left the store with a better pram for a lot less.”

“Was in earlier today to return a faulty item. I spoke with a really helpful staff member who alerted the tills and a manager that I would be down at the tills soon. This cut my time down as well as the waiting time for others in the queue. At the tills Nina was really friendly, polite and helpful. I shop here a fair amount and on this day in particular the staff were class, not that they aren’t normally!”
