“Fabulous little bar that sells epic beer soaking cheese toasties. It was a bit quiet when I was here (to be expected at 1.30 on Wednesday afternoon) but I can imagine the atmosphere is amazing when it's busy. Keep up the good work guys.”

“Had a delightful meal here recently, staff couldn't have been more welcoming or accomodating. We forgot to specify that we were booking for a meal so there wasn't supposed to be food on that night but one of the staff swapped into her chef whites & cooked us up a delicious feast. Would absolutely recommend, baked camembert (both flavours) & the mussels were spot on!”

“We can’t get enough of it here. An outstanding place with the warmest of welcomes. The food and coffee are always spot on, the menu is so thoughtful and creative - as a coeliac it’s a dream come true. We’ve tried the Friday night take out too which Id recommend to anyone. The nachos and the toasties are firm favourites with us. One of our favourite places for weekend food.”

“It was a beautiful place in a beautiful location. Perfect for a wedding we were going to at the old barn. Val and Gerry made sure we were welcomed and well looked after. Lots of advice and tips for where to go for food and walks in the area. The room was HUGE and very comfortable, had all the amenities we needed, the views were stunning too. Great choice for breakfast and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Just wish we could have stayed longer to make more of this beautiful place. Thanks so much for looking after us! Sophie and Dave x”

“Myself and my partner made a last minute booking based on reviews. Happy that we did. The atmosphere is very relaxed in the bar area, the friendly lady I spoke to on the phone booking, advised that a large party had booked upstairs and we’d probably be more relaxed in the bar area. Nice advice. Food was really well seasoned and hot and fresh, (we had a Sunday roast with beef). My only slight gripe is there wasn’t much beef on the plate. All was lovely and the wine by the glass was really nice. Overall we were happy with our first visit and will definitely return.”

“We have driven past the Robin Hood so many times over the years and just hadn't realised what we've been missing! Inside, it has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and an authentic character which so many pubs have lost. The tick list includes: Good choice of real ales; dog friendly; real fire; friendly and enthusiastic staff; excellent quality food; broad choice menu; great value; homely decorations for the Christmas season. We were lucky to be there for the Early Bird Christmas Menu... 3 home cooked courses with all the trimmings. All courses well cooked, very tasty and great quality. We will be back... we didn't need to book this time as it was a wet and windy Wednesday lunchtime, but I think we'll book our next visit to avoid disappointment.”
