“Absolutely amazing secure place to let your loved ones stay at. My two get excited as soon as they feel the car start to head down the lane to Doggi Divas. Oscar is a funny one who doesn't like a lot of people but he loves both Sylvia and her husband and rushes up to say hi to them as soon as he sees them :-) Highly recommended, don't look anywhere else.”

The reception staff were friendly and very helpful with directions around York and to the Barbican (where we were attending a concert). The hotel was very comfortable, clean and tidy. Our twin room was lovely. And it was only a short walk to the train station which we discovered on our way back (a shortcut shown to us by one of Hedley House team!). “We stayed at St. George's guesthouse for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The room was nicely furnished, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. The host was very helpful and approachable, and there was plenty of on-site parking available. The guesthouse is a straight 30-minute walk to the city centre, so an ideal place for visitors to York who want a quiet place to stay. We will be sure to visit this guesthouse again.”

“These kennels provide a loving , caring and personal service I wouldn’t leave my 2 old terriers anywhere else . 2 weeks was the longest I left them and the dogs returned, happy clean and well cared for . They really put my mind at rest and my anxiety of leaving the dogs to go on holiday has greatly reduced to the point I am looking at another 2 week break which is something I have not been able to do for years! “Such a beautiful and attractive place to relax and spend time. There are nice walking areas, interesting architecture, and even the option for a boat trip with the taxi boats. It was really quiet at this time of the year,not crowded at all,I bet during summer there are a lot of people. I bet during summer there's a good variety of restaurants and bars, so everyone can find something to suit their taste and budget,but now the options were quite limited. The dock offers options for spending time outdoors, and exploring the Royal Armouries museum, which is huge and definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately we couldn't visit because it was closed (Monday only). I saw that there are limited options for shopping,comparing with the city centre. Overall,we really liked it and definitely will come back during summer.”
