Received my over the phone consultation within half an hour with an extremely lovely doctor and the electronic prescription was signed off straight away and was available to pick up my medication before lunchtime.”

I then went into the surgery to collect his prescription and was talking to her for about 10 minutes even though we were talking laughing and joking she was still very polite and professional in sorting something that's an on going issue with the supplier. Jenny is definitely the one I will be asking for in future.”

Unable to drive, due to the injury, I got a taxi, which arrived much later than they promised, but still the receptionist said I'd still be seen. I made a point of thanking all the receptionists as I passed on the way to see the Doctor, who was very helpful too. Been with this practice for about 20 years now.”

“Amber at reception has been extremely patient and helpful on multiple occasions when supporting my daughter — he always goes the extra mile and it really makes a difference. Dr Hankin has also been amazing, not only providing excellent care but also escalating my daughter’s case when 111 had given poor advice. I really appreciate the time and attention shown. The only area that could be improved is the phone system — the waiting time can be very long, and the call-back option is currently only offered to those at positions 9–10 in the queue. It would be so much better if this was available from around position 2–3, as it’s a great option for those who can’t sit listening to hold music for a long time.”

“Admitted on 10.9.25 via amazing ambulance crew into A E with symptoms of a stroke. Stroke nurse was awaiting to see me. Taken straight for a CT scan and then admitted into the stroke assessment ward. I cant thank those nurses enough. Same night moved onto a ward. Again first class service from the nurses on shift. The drs and consultant and the therapists were so good at looking after me. Discharged after a night in and told follow up would be arranged. I was then contacted by the locala team and again they have been fantastic. I can only say you all gave 100% and it's been appreciated. Thank you.”

My family and I have been with this practice since coming to Tingley in 1990, never had any complaints/problems with any of the varied staff over the years and on occasions have walked in with no appointment or prior phone call and been seen within minutes.
