“Spotted this restaurant on a de tour to the airport and put it in my must try list, I’m so glad I did. Absolutely beautiful food and first class service, especially from Salvo. The Wagyu Lasagna is delicious. I will be back”
“Absolutely gorgeous good & amazing attentive service Cannot recommended this beautiful, homely and family run business enough We were not disappointed in anyway x”
“It may be an Italian in a small village but the food , service and atmosphere is one that belongs in a Michelin Star restaurant. Ameer works front of house and when needs is also a dab hand in the kitchen . His staff whilst local and young are all friendly and it’s great to see a local restaurant employing local staff . The Italian Chef Pepe is amazing and between my fiancé and I we have had the whole menu from salads to steaks , pasta to sorbet and the food is always delicious and exceptional and exceptional value for money . I cannot wait to fetch 40 something of my friends for my Hen Do and introduce them all to the best hidden Italian gem in the county . You were the best find 4 years ago and will continue to be our place to go for special occasions or just like tonight Bob in for tea after a busy weekend.”
“Cute Italian in Selby hidden down by the Abbey. Feels cosy and intimate. Gorgeous food, never had a bad meal here. Staff are always friendly and accommodating.”
“We have just eaten our Christmas Dinner delivered to our house for 5 of us and it was absolutely beautiful. The prawn cocktail starter was delicious with lots of prawns and a tasty salad. The main course, we all had Christmas dinner and it could have fed 10 of us. So much meat and beautiful veg and all the trimmings. Desserts were gorgeous. I can't recommend Yorkshire Tapas highly enough. Thank you so much Claire and Billy and Merry Christmas.”
“Excellent place. Cosy and comfortable. Great coffee and tea.”
“Great food, fantastic service and really good value for money. Found this place in Holmfirth a short distance from our Air B and B and we would definitely recommend and will go back. Fresh homemade pizzas and pasta. Large portions too. Lovely staff that are really attentive. Had a great night with family but would be equally nice for a romantic night out or group dinner”
“Had the roast beef, it came medium well along with a selection of tasty vegetables and of course roast potatoes and Yorkshire Pudding. One of the best Sunday roasts we’ve had and we’ve had a lot!! Fabulous host, very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend”
“My favourite restaurant in Barnsley. People have complained about the manager, but he's always been good to me and my guests. Recommend the stake Rossini, best I've ever had.”
“Excellent place to be and enjoy good entertainment when Dj's attending the venue.”
“Frequently enjoy a breakfast from here. Epic breakfast sandwiches! Really good value and always friendly service.”
“Me & my partner absolutely love mozza and it is THE best pizza near us! The pizzas are always 10/10 cooked to perfection and taste amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful, a really lovely experience with amazing food”
“We've walked past Napoli so many times but a couple of months ago our regular Horsforth Italian let us down, completely missing a reservation. Napoli fitted us all in, and the atmosphere, food, drinks and service were all terrific. Been back a few times since, always great, and discovered takeaway is also available. In our opinion, the best Italian food around, lovely fresh ingredients, great atmosphere and really friendly, helpful staff. Place deserves to be full, all the time.”
“Great food. Fantastic atmosphere. Lovely staff. Been here a few times, and it's always been a great experience.”
“Lovely place with a deal i think is not expensive for two courses. Fresh and relaxed place”
“An unexpected stop for breakfast this morning turned out to be a lovely little find! The décor inside is really nice, and the staff gave us such a warm welcome. We sat upstairs and ordered a full English breakfast and a full vegetarian breakfast — both were freshly cooked and delicious. Service was quick and friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. I’d definitely recommend this charming spot!”
“Great food, great service always order with these guys!”
“Lovely little restaurant. One of the best lasagnes I've had, and the tomato garlic bread was very tasty including the crust. Prices were great too. Highly recommended!”
“Ollie was a fantastic host and very attentive. Only let down was a longer wait between appetiser/starter and main but we were there on a Saturday evening and it was very busy! Food was so good. The steak was very very tasty! Thank you for a lovely evening.”

“Good food. We went for my partners birthday. Great service. Throughly enjoyed it.”
“Very good little village pub with large beer garden and plentiful outdoor seating. Has some additional seating to the front as well. A very well kept and clean pub with extremely shiny brasses. Natural stone walls and chunky wooden beams. Handpulled cask beers were Black Sheep and Farmer's Blonde. Also had a selection of sandwiches available. All good, would revisit and would recommend.”
“Mama Mia’s in Pontefract is hands down one of the best restaurants around. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with such warm and attentive service that makes you feel right at home. The food is always outstanding and super fresh, every dish tastes like it has been made with real care and quality ingredients. Even when visiting on a weekday the place is buzzing with atmosphere, which speaks volumes about just how loved it is in the community. It is no wonder that Mama Mia’s has been open for over 30 years, the consistency and dedication really shine through every single time. I really like that there is a lovely little area at the front where you can sit down, enjoy a drink or just relax while your table is being prepared, it makes the whole dining experience feel even more special. The décor inside is beautiful and instantly transports you to Italy, giving you that authentic feel that pairs perfectly with the food. I have been many times over the years and I can honestly say it never disappoints. The atmosphere, the staff, the food and the overall experience are always spot on. If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a fantastic meal in Pontefract, Mama Mia’s should absolutely be at the top of your list.”
“What a fantastic restaurant! We were a table of 17 and despite the numbers all the food was brought out efficiently and correctly. The food was delicious, and the staff ere lovely. The menu is very clear to understand for people with dietary requirements and allergies too. Will 100% be coming back!”
“Always have a delicious meal when we come here. My partner is obsessed with the country fried steak. It’s super yummy. I had the mac and cheese on this occasion and it filled me up. They do such good comfort foods and great cocktails to go with”
“Fab evening meal here last night - great good, really friendly staff (perfectly on the right side of attentiveness) and very reasonable prices. Unfortunately for this lovely restaurant, its owner and staff, we realised afterwards that we'd seen what is sadly becoming an increasing issue of people running up large bills and then trying to get away without paying: a very loud and entitled family of four were seated near us; we noticed them ordering a lot (and being advised by the staff about portion sizes and what would be arriving, so as not to over-order) and they were very happy, smiling, laughing and talking loudly through their whole meal. The wait staff then took away empty plates at the end. We only saw as they went to pay that the man was now (quietly) trying to create an issue, and after they left, the staff were very upset. We spoke with the owner, and this family had complained that there was a problem with one of the meals - which, to note, they had eaten IN ITS ENTIRETY - so had been trying to blag the whole bill free. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from these obnoxious and selfish diners. From the impact alone on the staff, they should be thoroughly ashamed of what they did.”
