“Donner Burger: 5/5 Best donny burger i've had. Chips 4.5/5 1st time it was soggy in the same box with burger, now they were in seperate paper bag, arrived fresh crisp and added seasoning sepertly to shake for yourself. Wings 1/5 Probably the worst wings i've had in my life, but it might be a one off, don't want to try again.”

“Stayed in the Indigo Hotel just for one night. Had a lovely welcoming atmosphere and front desk. Parking was easy and just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and well equipped with all you could need. Breakfast was buffet style with an additional menu for other choices. The only quibble at breakfast was the cast iron casserole dishes they hold the breakfast items in - they all have the lids on so you have to take the lid off to peek inside to see what it is, if you want that item you then have to find somewhere to put the lid which then gets in the way of other people peeking to see what’s inside - I’d suggest you maybe use a chalk pen to write on the lid/pot what is inside to help people out a bit. Apart from that all good and tasty. Would go again and recommend as a place for quick easy access to every sight in York. I did also upload a picture of the remote control in our room, that was a bit grim but wouldn’t stop me going again (will just take a sandwich bag next time!)”

“Stayed in the deluxe room and was really impressed with this hotel. The location is great, the staff are really helpful and friendly and the room itself was lovely. Big windows for a great view of the river, comfortable bed, very well decorated and modern. The pub itself is really nice and there's the option to sit outside. Would definitely recommend and stay again.”

“Having visited the pop-up restaurant twice, I would definitely recommend Yahala Mataam. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcome and Rob and the team are fab too. Looking forward to visiting for a third time in June!”

Best service, best food & best atmosphere, above all staff made my daughters 10th birthday a day she will always remember, no requests, all done by staff, even know they were really busy having a fully booked hotel, that did not effect there level of welcoming service provided, before our meal we already loved the atmosphere in this hotel, All staff do the company proud & offer a unbeatable service !!! Wish I could name 1 staff member but every staff member from floor, pool, reception, bar, restaurant & passing in & out doors has been amazing, all deserve credit We will be back !!”

“We had a lovely few days in York staying at Reubens Court. The apartment was a great space for a few nights and had everything we needed. ♥️ The kitchen, sitting space was adequate for 2people and included lots of crockery, cutlery etc, even a washer dryer. I definitely recommend this location for anyone needing more than 1 or 2 nights.”

“My girlfriend has never had a matcha like it. I've never seen her so angry about other terrible matchas. Time after time she has had horrid tepid grass water with grit and placenta in it, no sweetener. Not from HERE. It was perhaps the most wonderful experience of maybe both of our lives. The man on the till with glasses was lovely and cordial, and we watched him make the drink as if we were watching a Christopher Nolan epic. Unbelievable scenes.”

“Not sure if people who have had bad experiences have the right place because I have had nothing but fantastic food. We ordered to collect. Food was ready quickly and was delicious. The chicken with cashew and beef in black bean sauce are a firm favourite.”
