The buildings are gorgeous - very modern and clean. It’s a gorgeous area which feels very safe. The amenities are also beautiful.”

“Nice bar this, serving a great selection of cask and keg ales, pies from the maestro that is Gordon at Le Gourmet in Brighouse, always a good pint and really friendly staff with a warm welcome, dog friendly pub, great prices and loads of seating, whats not to love? A must if in the area, highly recommend.”

“I had a wonderful stay at Roomzzz Hotel York! This was the first hotel me and my boyfriend stayed at, and it will always be our favourite . The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, making it a perfect home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. We missed breakfast in the morning and the lady at reception made sure we got our breakfast. The location was great—close to key attractions but still peaceful and quiet. I especially appreciated the thoughtful little touches that made the stay extra comfortable. I highly recommend Roomzzz to anyone visiting York we will be visiting again!”

“Ellie and Ross run a lovely cafe. The food is delicious! I had the Buddha Bowl all freshly made and so healthy! Followed later by a generous slice of their Caramel Drip cake...sublime! There were so many lovely things on the menu for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea I'm looking forward to returning. Beautiful surroundings in a stunning park and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you guys and well done x”

“The best Greek food in Hyde Park that is very reasonably priced for what you get! Large portions of tasty food every time I go. Good location to Hyde Park itself and staff are always friendly and attentive. Nice decor inside as well. Definitely recommend!”

“Pretty much all of my Caffè Nero reviews involve me complaining about everything, this particular location is the exception. The staff are amazing, friendly, accommodating and recommend some great tweaks to menu drinks (the Mango & Passion Fruit Fruit Booster but with cream so it's like a liquid Solero is genius), the ambience is nice, it's clean (a rarity for Nero in Leeds) and is just a generally nice place to be. “Lovely and friendly staff. Service was great. Really nice setting and we though excellent value for money. The topside in the carvery was so nice and tender! Such ashame that there are a lot of negative reviews and we’ve avoided going for that reasons but we will def visit again after today.”

“We purchased a YO1 Middleton's afternoon tea voucher for four people. The tea was excellent, the gentleman who served us was friendly, professional and welcoming even though he was busy, it was much appreciated. The finger sandwhiches were fresh and tasty, ham and lettuce, cheese and pickle and salmon and cream cheese. The fruit scones were warm and tasty, especially when the jam and cream were added. The selection of cakes was great, macaroons, brownies and other cakes. A very nice experience as a couple or when shared with friends. Many thanks to our host/waiter for making us feel valued customers.”

“I wouldn’t normally go to a pub for food but was pleasantly surprised. Nice and quiet inside, calm atmosphere and quick service. I ordered the smoked tofu wrap with chips, on the dinner deal (meal and drink for £7). It was better than I expected! Lots of flavour, plenty of tofu, nice chips and super cheap. They have 3/4 vegan options which all sounded really good and it’s nice to have some choice”

“Gorgeous little coffee shop right near the Shambles Market, and the perfect place to escape a cold York afternoon and warm yourself with a hot beverage. The Bailey's hot chocolate really hit the spot, and my partner really enjoyed his bacon and brie toastie. The vibe is cosy and perfect for parties of 2, but seating is limited at lunchtime, especially for parties any larger than 4. Many parties of 3 or more were getting turned away or split over multiple tables.”

“Stayed here for a night for my first time in York and loved it. The hotel location is very convenient as it's right next to the station and shops. The staff are lovely and accommodating; kept my food in their fridge and reheated it for me. The room was clean bed was very comfortable and had a tea corner. The TV connects to mobile so was able to watch Netflix/YouTube! Also the breakfast was great. Would stay again next time I'm in York.”
