“Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Fairways Service Station in Ackworth for being so brilliant. 3 months ago my car had been into JCT 600 Castleford for its service inspection (sadly due to the kia warranty I have to do this). JCT told me that my brakes were red on their checklist and needed to be done ASAP or fail the next MOT. They quoted me a silly price so I decided to visit the guys at fairways to get a more realistic quote (which was very fair). Bare in mind the car is less than 3 years old and my 8 year old car is still on its first set of brakes. The Guys at Fairways checked the brakes and found that the rear wear was minimal and the front wear was more than OK for MOT and should last based on a normal persons driving a year to 18 months. I recently lost my job and a big bill before Christmas would have been a tough pill to swallow. THANK YOU FAIRWAYS It is great to know that good honest businesses still exist and I would recommend them to anyone currently being bent over by certain (and i know they are not all the same) corrupt dealerships. Thank you for being honest and fair, you chose not to do unnecessary work and be Awesome. Thank you.”

“We came for the sleigh ride and wow, what an experience for our four year old son (and us!). The whole set up was so well organised. It looked fantastic and such lovely little details throughout (the passport stamps, the hydraulics on the sleigh etc). Santa was brilliant and the toy shop was amazing for the kids to choose what they wanted. The whole place was really well laid out, decorated and very tidy. The toilets were spotless and the food and drink prices were very reasonable. However what really made it was all the staff. From start to finish they were energetic, enthusiastic and really made for such a special day. Memories to last forever and everyone involved deserves so much credit. So glad we made the trip up.”

“Review of Sambuca Armley Italian Restaurant I recently visited Sambuca Armley, and it was an absolute delight! We started with the spicy king prawns and lemon pepper king prawns as appetizers—both dishes were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. For our main course, we had the salmone pasta in a creamy white sauce, which was equally impressive. The freshness of the ingredients and the balance of flavors made each bite memorable. We were able to take advantage of their special which runs Mon-Thu so we got a starter and main for just £13.95. The ambiance was cozy, and it felt like a hidden gem it was just a stone’s throw from home. I only wish we had discovered this place sooner! If you’re ever in the Armley area and love Italian cuisine, you must give Sambuca a try. I can’t wait to go back!”

The staff are super welcoming, they never make you feel like you are putting them out like a certain other place that I won’t mention. They take their time, even when they’re busy. I only ever get gel so can’t comment on acrylics but they always do a lovely job and my nails always look super neat! I’ve been getting magnetic nails done recently and they’re really reasonable at just £25 (inc removal) and last ages! Would 100% recommend. The staff actually chat to you here as well which is nice ☺️”
