“Lovely conveniently located place to eat. We had the full English and mochas. The breakfast was great with eggs cooked to perfection with a choice of poached, fried etc. The sausages were spicy and well flavoured and there was plenty of the delicious beef bacon. The mocha was delicious and lovely artwork too. The staff were polite and the setting with booths is excellent.”

“As a fellow barista and head barista, this is my favourite coffee shop up and down the country. The staff are wonderful, helpful, friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable of their products. They work hard and make every visit an absolute delight at such an inclusive establishment. Coffees are always the highest of quality beans from the most prolific roasters around today. And with multiple options on both espresso and filter, always regularly changing, there’s always something new and insane to try with each visit I’m able to. Retail shelf always selling beans from fantastic roasters, along with equipment and tools for brewing at home, as well as many other cups, travel mugs, and different beverages too from the fridge. Co-working space is exactly what it says it is; a space to work, with which other people are able to work too. There is a minimum spend for it which is to be expected, or an all day charge which would work out cheaper for longer visits. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough, will continue regularly frequenting this incredible coffee shop and their drinking the insane coffees they produce.”

“I recently visited this café with my husband, and we both ordered the English breakfast with karak tea. It was absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious and freshly made. The service was great too; we didn’t have to wait long at all. Highly recommend this place for a tasty meal and friendly atmosphere!”

“Beautiful little Hidden Gem in Leicestershire well worth a visit. Book early for alpaca walk as it’s very popular in summer months. Tea room is big and spacious and great food too. Dog friendly site throughout.”

“Went down for a look because I was working in the area, besides the Great Central Way and the Aylestone Packhorse Bridge there isn’t much to chose between what was the best about being here… Then there was Kings Lock Bridge 104, Lock 38 and the Kings Lock Tearooms … I only had time for a Latte, which was absolutely perfect. I loved the staff, immediately took my order, the setting is perfect, dripping with history and all in a setting fit for… what for it… A King (or whoever it is you desire to be!)”

“Absolutely beautiful tea for two for a special occasion, we were sat in a bay window with a nice view. The food was freshly made with a perfect blend of sweet and savoury dishes. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly but not overly so and left us to enjoy our tea. So much food we couldn't finish it all so they were perfectly happy to put it in a box for us to take home. Highly recommend.”

“I have visited Mrs Bridges Tea Rooms and the chip sandwich was satisfying comfort food experience. The sandwich offered a great crunch from the chips, which contrasted with tasty bacon and a little kick from harissa. It's perfect for when you're craving something savoury and satisfying and you're in the mood for a guilty pleasure.”

“We went to The Bell for a family Sunday lunch and it was absolutely delicious! The roasts were well-cooked and we had a pot of crackling on the side for the pork-eaters. A choice of old favourites (crumble!) and more adventurous puds. Thoroughly recommend.”

“A fine traditional pub with huge choice of ales. Visited on saturday lunch on the way to the Tigers game and so the place was packed. We ate some hot sausage rolls and vegetable samosas which soaked up the beer.”

“If you're looking for an old school pub with a relaxed homely feel, this is the place. We enjoyed Sunday lunch here after the Remembrance Day parade at Victoria Park, and I can't praise the staff and especially Colleen for hosting us. The food was 5*, and the locals were extremely welcoming. Looking at what this place has to offer from open comedy nights to quizzes in its separate venue, there's something for everyone. Child and dog friendly with an open fire and plenty of seating, I just wish I didn't live in Northampton as this would become my local!!! Until next time, to Colleen and the team, thanks from us all. You made a difficult day very memorable for all the right reasons.”
