“Attended a gig here with Fleetwood Unchained. Great theatre with really friendly and helpful staff who are mostly volunteers. Beautifully clean and welcoming environment, the staff can be justly proud of their jewel in Leicester!”

Various room sizes for large or small size meetings and groups and a kitchen available and level access from the car park and through out. Friendly atmosphere, great groups throughout the week including family friendly church service each Sunday”

“I visit this place as often as possible on Friday mornings. The staff are helpful and always try to accommodate my needs. For instance, I enjoy having a chicken and stuffing cob, and they do their best to meet my preferences, though it's not always feasible. I highly recommend it. It's perfect for a Friday or even a midweek treat. The prices are reasonable, and the food quality is excellent.”

“We had the pleasure of staying in the Mange Tout apartment for 2 nights. It was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 bedrooms and a lovely little outside area. The views were great, beds comfy. We visited the local pub, Horse & Jockey, and had a lovely dinner. Also had 2 brilliant breakfasts in Oakham - The Larder & The Hungry Birds. Topped our visit with a day in Stamford and lunch in the coutyard of The George and Rutland Aqua Park. Fab couple of days- thank you.”

“Really enjoyed the Kinder waffle and Vanilla milkshake. The waffle tasted heavenly and milkshake was thick and creamy. The atmosphere was very nice and calm. My daughter loved the pancakes, with berries. So soft and fluffy! Will definitely be coming again soon”

“Definitely the finest and most value money Turkish restaurant in the city. The food is fresh, the service is personal and the correct balance of spices and other ingredients. Bring your own alcohol too! Highly recommend the chicken beyti meal or the chicken sarma beyti. You won't be disappointed whether it's a take away or sit in meal. Also wonderful for young children.”

“Too notch food. The steak, gammon, pork belly, faggots, and venison sausages (not all on my plate!) were all fantastic, well cooked, well presented and hearty portions sizes. Staff were friendly, atmosphere was pleasant. It felt like somewhere where the chef genuinely cares about the quality of his output. 5 stars, would definitely come back!”

“Great service! We didn’t know that they were only open for lunch 12-2:00pm but they were kind enough to seat us despite arriving 20mins after closing. The staff were friendly, hospitable and very welcoming. The food was delicious and authentic tasting and I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!”

“We had a good diner at the place. Service was very good and all staff were very helpful. We had a platter and that is a good choice as it gives taste of most of the starters. For mains We had steaks they were made according to our desire and Mongolian beef and fried rice was very delicious.”

“A lovely local pub, it’s so lovely and modern inside, spacious and clean, good atmosphere. Good food and drink menu with vegetarian and vegan choices, prices are really decent and nice portion size. Staff is friendly and helpful. Plenty of tables and outside tables with spaces for children. Free parking spaces.”

“Lunchtime visit with older group. Service was great. Initially we were allocate a table up a few stairs. Mobility issue with one guest was immediately spotted and we were moved to a different table without having to ask. Team were attentive but didn't rush us. Menu offered good choices for everyone. Vegetarian options were a little limited but still plenty of choice. Food was tasty and good size portions.”

“Came for breakfast with my son after seeing some pictures on face book of the food.was not dissapointed, breakfast was proper decent with thick bacon and great quality sausages. All tye food was spot on, food was a little slow to come but they apologised and as they were so busy understandable but defo worth the wait.5* breakfast”

“Called in on a Friday lunch time after recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. Lovely little old fashioned pub with friendly and welcoming staff. We had a sandwich each, wife had prawn and I had beef and stilton, on brown bread. Both delicious and will certainly be having again. Just a bit of info for those wanting to eat here, food only served Wednesday to Saturday, 12 00 to 14 00.”

“Classic Italian with a good range of pasta and seafood dishes. Although busy service was excellent; friendly but unobtrusive. Food is all cooked fresh but the wait was relatively short given the quality of what they are producing. I’d book ahead as it was pretty full when we there.”

“Lovely little cafe tucked away by St Mary's church, down a quaint little lane back towards the high street. We had cold drinks and cake. The service was top notch, a very polite and well spoken gentleman served us throughout. We also spoke shortly with the owner who talked about his dog with us. Was a lovely mid afternoon outing.”

“Loved this Restaurant with speakeasy entrance to the tables. The staff are so friendly and attentive, prices are good for a city centre. We had an amazing meal. Lovely background music too. We stayed at a local hotel and got 10% off our bill.”

“Regular drinking hole. Great selection of beers and massive beer garden meaning plenty of room to drink and enjoy the sunshine. Very family friendly pub. Only small wrinkle is the bar is quite small so often quite a big queue, but the staff are super fast at serving (and super friendly). Never eaten here, but there's always loads of people dining. Carpark quite small but ample off road parking nearby. Updated my review in August 25 having now eaten at the Queen Vic. Popped in for lunch on a Friday. Pub wasn't busy so no trouble getting a table. Menu offered plenty of choice, lots of pub classics and some lighter options as well. We were served quickly (helpful as teenage sons were starving) and food was delicious. Would happily eat here again. You can eat in the main pub or the restaurant building out back...that building serves the carvery.”

“I have now been to Joy Coffee Bar a couple of times. A very cosy cafe, shame it is not on the main strip, but that might be part of its appeal. Very polite couple of people serving. Great customer service skills and both should be commended on a good job. It's not hard to be friendly, but I've have been to many places where people don't take the time or effort to speak with customers. I will definitely be back.”

“Clean, spacious cafe with pleasant, efficient staff. Breakfast with the nicest bacon I've had in years. No quibbles about my food intolerances and choosing my own breakfast that wasn't on the menu. They even have milks & cakes for special diets, so all needs are catered for. Shame it's so far from where I live, but I will visit again!”
