“I've been twice and had the mixed sizzler, then the chicken madras. The appetizers and Naan are very good and the main dishes are excellently cooked and presented! If you like spice, they will give you spice, but dishes like the madras were very approachable in terms of spice.”

“Went for anniversary dinner two days ago, and could not been a Better choice, staff very polite, food superb cooked at oerfecthion, we got the Prawns and the involtini melanzane as starter, a Salmon and linguine Prawns as main, we could taste the fresh of the fish that take us back in our recenti italian Holiday. “Checked out Ceders, the Lebanese spot, and it’s quite the experience. They’ve got a mix of hard and soft drinks to choose from, hitting the spot. Now, fair warning, the bathrooms need a bit of extra care in the cleanliness department. Let’s dive into the good stuff – their chicken is a taste bud triumph, truly delicious. The hummus and falafel also hold their own in the flavor game. Downstairs has a few tables, but the real vibe is upstairs, creating a cozy atmosphere. Props to them for serving water in fancy bottles, adding a touch of class. Despite the bathroom situation, Ceders delivers a savory Lebanese feast with a charming ambiance.”

“Great place for food, we ordered the jeera chicken, egg curry, schezwen paneer and also crispy bhajia. Everything tasted amazing, great combination of flavours, spice and good food portions. Will definitely be coming back. Atmosphere is okay as its a bar/pub and restaurant so drinks have to be ordered separately.”

“I went in for a drink pre lockdown on a couple occassions and could not fault the service or the friendliness of the locals that are there. Having recently found out that they now offered food I felt obliged to try it and can hand on heart say it was some of the best Indian take away I have had in Leicester! I noticed the venue had also had a makeover done it looks amazing, great space to go and relax. Can not wait for the lockdown to be lifted so I can go enjoy some drinks with my friends in the new bar.”

“Second year of having breakfast with Santa here, even more magical than last year! Staff were amazing, breakfast was delicious, plenty of activities to keep the kids busy, the whole atmosphere was perfect.”

“The menu has plenty of choice and you can ask for your choice to the heat that you like, for example my go to pathia I request to be ‘slightly hot’ and it gives the buzz I need without feeling like I’ve had a tongue transplant and can’t taste or breathe! It’s very clean and has a few different areas to sit, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is great. There is ample parking opposite on the old council offices car park. I highly recommend the Flying Horse.”

“Not been in here in a long time but thought we'd go for one to see how it had changed. Ended up staying for 4 as the staff were really friendly, the atmosphere was great and the beer was reasonably priced.”

“We recently did a hire for an event the Fox and Tiger were putting together. Ellie and the staff were extremely helpful. They did an amazing job and the event went amazingly! The pub had such an amazing family feel to it. Everyone was well mannered and polite. Definitely looking forward to working with them in the future!”

“My sister and I just moved around here and wanted to what the locals have to offer. Beautiful pu and garden area. Not to many people when we arrived. There was a sign saying no food being currently but that was fine by us. We just wanted a drink. Serves was polite and with a smile.”

“We were recommended the Red Cow by a friend who visits regularly. We didn’t have a starter as we’re not big eaters, but we like quality, and the food certainly delivered on taste, visual appeal and portion size. It is a warm, welcoming place with friendly and attentive staff. If I were picky, I’d have to say that the “Classic” cocktails failed to include actual classics, like Old Fashioneds, Gin Martinis, Ginlets etc. However, Julie took our direction and got the bar person to mix gin martinis to our specifications. They were great!”

“Staff were really friendly and service was good. Checked to make sure everything was ok. Partner had soup for starter and it was really nice. We both had fish and chips for main. Food was hot and the fish had lovely crispy batter and had large white flakes. I didn't want peas so they came out and offered me a couple of alternatives, which I thought was nice. Would definitely have it again.”

“My wife and I with a few friends treated ourselves to a pre-Christmas festive lunch and were so pleased to have chosen The White Horse. The food was excellent and the staff were absolutely great. Tables were decorated lovely and nothing was too much trouble for any member of the team, the Management should be very proud of them. We chose the 2 course meal, just as well as the portions were very generous. Excellent job, we look forward to coming back in the New Year.”
