“We hired the gin bar and court yard for our wedding reception and it was so amazing. All the staff were very attentive and did a fabulous job. Marie was always responsive to any queries I had prior to the day and was super helpful. It was so cosy with the log burner lit. The food and arrival drinks were fab. We were also given time to set up the day before. It was perfect.”

“I go here all the time, for fancy or casual. It is just so beautiful compared to some turkish restaurants. The food may be 'simple' to others, but it is still delicious. I would definitely recommend: the staff and chefs are super friendly and the place is super clean. 5 STARS!!!”

“The food is of top quality and at the right price, service is always good, nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is to our taste nice and relaxed, so we can sit and talk. When it's busy the atmosphere changes slightly - so good to hear people talking and laughing rather than looking down into a mobile phone. Don't hesitate, book a table and enjoy a very relaxing meal, we have tried most of the main courses on the menu and all are equally good as each other if one were to be picked as a favourite then Chicken Tikka Karahi is my go to main course the chapati, naan, rice etc.....just choose your favourite and you are on to a winner of a dinner.”

“Absolutely superb pub! Stu cooks from fresh! No microwave going on here and, after a broken glass, seeing Jay clean up, sweeping into every nook and cranny it's obvious why the place is immaculate! Brilliant venue, high quality food and staff anyone would be proud to have as part of their team. Jay's mum deserves a medal for raising a son who knows what mum's version of clean is and knowing how to achieve it! Highly recommended The Navigation!!!! Parking, views of the canal, lots of different areas to sit, so you can be as sociable or as friendly as you like. Warm welcome, beers kept to perfection! Clean toilets too!”

“Best Turkish I've had. Came here with a work colleague and really enjoyed the food even after having taken it home to eat, it held up well in travel. Juicy meats and refreshing salad inside the wrap I had. Me and my friend shared the chips as the portion is very generous. Have already recommended to a mate too!”

“3 of us visited The Blue Bell to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday on Saturday night and we were incredibly happy with the whole experience. Our servers, Hannah and Meg were wonderful. Mega friendly and super attentive! We informed them of an onion allergy and they couldn’t have done more, making sure the ingredients in all of the food were safe and subtly checking up on us throughout the meal. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious! I can personally recommend the pork belly. Just incredible, I can’t recommend this place highly enough.”

“I have had a take away from here before and it was good so decided to come here on a Friday night, rang up and booked table with no wait so good and lady on phone was nice. The place itself inside is clean nice with fire plave on the TVs, the only thing I would change is that it was a tad too bright inside for a late night meal. Food itself was absolutely amazing and came out reasonable quick and the service was good. This place is now my favourite place for Indian food and we were able to doggy bag left overs which I had the following day A++ on the food.”

I'm pretty sure there is some magic in the cooks hands as the food is unreal. Will be passing by later today after what's seems like forever and for sure will stop off for something. “11 of us went here for our annual Christmas party and as always, we had an amazing time! You really do get your value for money with your meals and drinks. Everyone is there to have a good time and the atmosphere is fantastic. I personally would like to say thank you to Sarah. “Now I very rarely give 5 stars. This is your classic "front room" pub, very cosy and welcoming. Pub is split into the The saloon bar (where everyone is) and the public bar which has a pool table. One ale on, abbot (understandable for the turnover) but served very well, better than the two steeples(!) besides that usual keg fare, but one oddity of theakstons bitter on squirt. Again very friendly, thoroughly recommend.”

“This pub is literally outside the train station. The front looks like a small coffee shop but believe it it’s huge inside and amazing. You need to walk down a set of stairs to the bar area which, has numerous beers on offer. They had interactive darts which, was great. There was another game which you had to slide the weights down. The young gentleman who ran the pub explained how they look after the table and how the game was played. It was £5 for 30 mins. A really good interactive game. There were about four different areas to sit in if you wanted to with either sofas, table and chairs or booths. The pub was very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Really wish we had gone in this pub when we first arrived in Leicester. Definitely a pub to visit.”

“Have been into this establishment a few times in recent weeks, I was previously put off because of previous owners and managers, but after a regular told me there was a new GM within the last 2 weeks I thought I would try again and I’m happy to announce not only is the football always on, or any sport for that matter, but the GM is knowledgeable, polite and professional, the customers always seem happy, and the wait for a drink is none existent, even on the 10/08 when the bar was 4 deep I only had to wait a few minutes….. would highly recommend, it’s a shame the kitchen isn’t open but can’t be perfect….”

“I visited this pub whilst on my travels through the UK, lovely lively traditional English public house with separate chalet style accommodation ,reasonably priced clean and comfortable, wouldn't hesitate to visit again .”

“Love this place, im here most lunch times with my dog. Their Katsu chicken burger is second to none, and I Love the fact that they have a doggie menu too so my bear doesnt miss out. Its a shame there isn't signage on the road for people to find the place as unless you are a local or dog walker you cannot see The Manor from the road”
