“I went in on a whim, only fuelled by the vague but sudden urge that I wanted to have a needle and ink stabbed into me (a tattoo) that day, and had no idea what I wanted to get or where. I spotted the “get what you get” gumball machine through the window, which has a fixed price of £60 and you get a random flash piece. Stefan, who ran the gumball machine was obviously the one to tattoo me, and I’m so glad I went in that day. Everyone there was very friendly, but Stef especially did a great job making me feel comfortable and confident enough to let him do pretty much what he wanted on my leg. It was the least painful of my tattoos so far and it came out super cool! He was very gentle and he’s made a customer for life! Thanks Stef and everyone else at Crown Of Thorns!”

“So pleased with the service from Wongs! My wedding rings were also my grandmother's wedding rings so they've been well loved. The engagement ring's band was getting extremely thin and I was terrified of knocking it and losing it, so brought it into Wongs for a shank replacement. They did a beautiful job of it - the detail on the front is untouched and the shank is nice and heavy now to last a lifetime ♥️ Highly recommend. The service was professional and Tracey was brilliant with advice and guidance. We had also discussed potentially rebuilding my wedding band however we ultimately decided against it - she was so helpful to draw out the different options we had and pricing. At no point was she pushy and the whole consultation felt honest and professional. Max did the work on the rings in the workshop and I am genuinely blown away by how perfect everything has turned out. I left my band to be cleaned alongside my engagement ring and they both came back absolutely sparkling - I think this is the cleanest they've been since they've been in my ownership! Definitely will be returning to Wongs for any future jewellery work (including when we will probably be eventually getting my wedding band rebuilt). I really appreciated on collection that we were told we can keep bringing them in for annual checkups even though they weren't bought from Wongs. All staff in the shop were extremely welcoming and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better experience!”

“Wow! Clearly a very experienced piercer. I had two helix piercings and a vertical labret done, and I've had no problems with healing (apart from the expected temporary soreness)! “A few years ago we stumbled across Trust & Co whilst on holiday near Chester, we had been struggling to find a jeweller that we could trust to repair a very precious engagement ring that belonged to my late grandmother. The ring had been badly repaired a couple of times in the past and we had lost faith in Jewellers. Metin and Selina put our mind at rest with their professional approach and genuinely caring about our concerns. We were nearing the end of our holiday so they managed to arrange for the repairs to take place overnight. By lunchtime the next day we were reunited with the precious engagement ring and were blown away with the work they had performed, and so relieved we had found jewellers we could trust. For a while we had been looking for matching earrings, necklace and replacement wedding ring (old wedding ring was damaged beyond repair) All other jewellers we had been to seemed to try and pressure us into a sale, and looked at us as though we were just part of their commission. Metin and Selina were so patient with us and discussed all options and helped us choose the diamonds and made us feel special. Once the new additions were made we were so thrilled with the quality and pride that Metin and Selina showed for being able to make us happy. Recently the necklace got broken whilst playing sport, we returned the necklace to Trust & Co and it was repaired with no fuss and first class service. “Prom dress shopping…The ladies were genuinely friendly with no pressure to buy. There was such an amazing choice of prom dresses and my daughter tried on so many because they were so gorgeous. We were allowed to take photos as well, which I know some places don’t allow. “Always have to pop in when i’m in chester, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and honestly fit the vibe of the shop so well. They always have cute clothes, bags and jewellery stocked that i would genuinely give my whole life savings for. As well as so much Wiccan stuff which as a pagan is so amazing to see!!
