“Lovely little restaurant with friendly staff, great service and good food. We went for dinner as part of a little pre Christmas trip to Chester. The small plates were delightful. We had the focaccia, meatball and fried lasagna. Every item was lovely… and I’ve definitely been inspired to deep fry my lasagna in future! We had the onglet, bhaji burger and broccoli tagliatelle for mains. The onglet was delightful, but I didn’t regret my choice (the tagliatelle). The mango ketchup that came with the bhaji burger was too sweet for us, but I’m sure it would have suit those who have a sweeter palate. If we had extra stomach space, I would have loved to try the lasagna (because the fried version was so nice!) Nothing wrong with the dessert per se, but they were the weakest course… which was a little odd. The chocolate crème brûlée was fine but nothing to write home about … while the sticky toffee pudding was not the right texture for me. The coffees were delightful though!! Overall, this was a good find! I’d love to go back during the day and try their brunch - the Malaysian in me is intrigued by the chai tow kway & paratha (the description is that for chai tow kway so not sure where the paratha comes in, but I wanna try it!!)”

“Simon and the team have measured and fitted numerous carpets and vinyl flooring for us, over the years. As well as, furniture deliveries from upstairs in the Ashton's department. We've recently just had new stairs carpet and again, the service and installation was top notch! Can't wait for our new vinyl for the garage conversion and just know it'll be another superb job. Thanks for all your help, again.”

“Nice place to eat. The service was quick, polite and the wait time was not very long at all until what we paid for was brought to our table. The breakfast here is great with a nice portion size for the price. As long as this place does not start scrimping on portion sizes it will remain great. Well done guys was well worth the visit ;)”

“Went today to check if they had a bike in stock and any availability to build it. They said they didn't have the bike in stock. When we said the other Halfords had it in stock but no availability to build it. They said there were quite free the young man at the till said we would need to pay the build at the other shop but they could assemble it for us which I thought was really nice. That's was top notch customer service. Something I will remember.”

“Been meaning to pop in a few times, finally did today on my regular trip over that way and I’m glad I did. Fab menu at really good prices. Most items are homemade and it’s clear to see only good quality ingredients are used. The ladies that served me are really friendly and even gave me a taster soup whilst I waited for my order. Will call again no doubt about it. Fab little eatery this place!”

“The sound quality in my VW T5.1 is another level after letting these guys sort it out....you definitely get what you pay for, if you are an Audiophile then this is the only place to bring your ride! “This is a great little hardware store, everything from diy to homewares, theyve had bikes, to outdoor furniture. If you don't see it on the shelf do ask as they often carry things in stock. Stock can vary with the seasons as you would expect, garden furniture etc in the summer months for example. Prices a reasonable and all the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I don't think I've ever had to go elsewhere when getting bits for DIY jobs. Highly recommend.”

“Visit here on a regular basis, the staff simply can't do enough to help, the food is great both I terms of cost and more importantly quality. Coffee here is amazing. They have a reading group for children and now open in the evening with sharing platters and beer, wine and prosecco available, use your time wisely and give it a try!”
