“Gluten free 10/10 I’ve been for breakfast at the Bluebell Café a number of times with family, friends and colleagues which have always been great. Today, I visited for Lunch and was completely blown away. Absolutely delicious food, wide range of tempting choices and the fantastic team are so lovely and welcoming. Thank you ❤️”
“Gary and his team just serviced and MOTd our 2014 car with the minimum of fuss or expense. We were given a little runaround car for the day (at no charge) which was a huge help. The pricing was laid out in advance. We even got a call at lunchtime to say the MOT passed with nothing needed! The bill was ready to settle on arrival and in just 2 minutes we were out of there. Honest, timely and fairly priced. This is now our 'go to' garage. Recommended.”
“I had breakfast here and it was an amazing experience! Everything was so delicious and truly represented the best of Turkish cuisine. The atmosphere, decoration, and staff were all perfect. I was extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to everyone!”
“Popped in today after reading other reviews and we weren't disappointed. We tried the goujons, wings and beef curry, all of which were great. If your in Chester you have to give it a go.”
“Amazing place - found via Michelin Guide. Food quality was beyond expectations - particularly the foccaccia was super tasty. Variety was perfect and everything was very fresh. Location and the atmosphere of the restaurant are perfect too! Highly recommended to visit - worth to make a reservation.”
“Had a lovely time here during our short stay in Chester. There is a great selection of craft ales on tap and in bottles/cans. Plenty of seating on two levels and there is a live beer board. The Lady behind the bar was very friendly and knowledgeable about the types of drinks available. Highly recommend this venue and would visit again !”
“The food is great and the environment is really cozy and lovely. Most importantly, the people working here are so nice. Even most of the tables are booked, they still managed to give me and my son a table. Great experience dinning here. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“Visited on a quiet Wednesday evening and was thoroughly impressed by the service. I was served by an energetic and just generally wonderful gentleman named Alex. He has an innate talent for informal - but not unfriendly - welcomes and ensures that every individual be speaks to its made to feel like the most important person in the room. Attentive, but not overbearing. A chap of such outstanding quality reflects a gold standard that every premises should aspire to. The fare, of course, was magnificent, but the true star of the show was not what was on the plate. But rather, the people responsible for it. 10/10 top-to-bottom. No notes.”
“We were so pleased we stopped here to eat as the food it brilliant. It’s a great menu which we would genuinely eat anything from and nice to see something different. Flavours in the gumbo were beautiful and I loved the fact you can heat it up with various different sauces. Our daughter had the ribs and chips and they knocked spots off any previous incarnations of the same. Chips really were good, we will get our own next time. Lovely, friendly guy running the restaurant, he does it all himself and he’s doing a great job. We will be back!”
“Lovely lady always good food with good portions sizes and good deals”
“A real nice place to eat lunch. Its a little bit out of the way so is usually quieter, the staff are so friendly and the food is really delicious.”
“I had such a lovely experience at Stile Napoletano in Chester. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were kind and attentive. Highly recommend booking in advance — the place is small and fills up quickly. A perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or a cosy evening out. I’ll definitely be back!”
“We had the Sunday roast and it was honestly amazing — perfectly cooked meats, crisp roast potatoes, rich gravy, and beautifully prepared veg. Everything was full of flavour and clearly made with care. The setting is cosy and stylish without feeling formal, and the staff were so friendly and attentive throughout. It’s the kind of place where you can really relax and enjoy your meal. A proper treat for a Sunday — we’ll definitely be back soon!”
“Best breakfast in a box I've had, the breakfast wrap is highly recommended. The only downside is the coffee, they only do instant at 20000 degrees.”
“Booked Jilly`s last minute to provide food for a children's` summer camp. The sandwiches were amazing - both staff and kids loved them! The service was also brilliant. Would 100% recommend!”
“Took my 4 year old son for a cut for the first time here today. He is autistic and hates having it done normally, so it’s usually a horrible experience for him and us. However, Hayley was great with him and so patient. There we no tears at all and this allowed her to do a great cut. Thank you again”
“Stayed here for one night, agree with the other reviews, Dave was really friendly and helpful when we checked in, the room was at the top of a Georgian house, very quiet, very clean and with a very comortable bed. En-suite shower room was clean and there were complimentary toiletries. If you are fine managing stairs I would highly recommend room 5! Lots of options for breakfast in the cafes and pubs locally. Hope to stay again next time we are in Chester.”
“Food is always scrumptious! Lovely and hot! Good value, a little expensive but for the quality of food its good value :) delivery was late tonight by 30 mins but they did tell us it was going to be late and we didn't mind cos the food is always gorgeous! I would highly recommend, 5 stars all the way and will definately order again!!!”
“A traditional pub feel, but NOT old stuffy. Dropped in for a swift pint and was so taken by the atmosphere, excellent beer (I had the porter) and a superb pizza, I just had to stay for another.”
“The best cafe I have ever been too, been coming here for the last couple of years and I live in north Wales, The food is pure perfection and the service is brilliant, I wouldn't recommend any where else”
“Best breakfast in the port and opens at 6am so I can get a breakfast on my way home from doing a night shift”
“Lovely little restaurant with friendly staff, great service and good food. We went for dinner as part of a little pre Christmas trip to Chester. The small plates were delightful. We had the focaccia, meatball and fried lasagna. Every item was lovely… and I’ve definitely been inspired to deep fry my lasagna in future! We had the onglet, bhaji burger and broccoli tagliatelle for mains. The onglet was delightful, but I didn’t regret my choice (the tagliatelle). The mango ketchup that came with the bhaji burger was too sweet for us, but I’m sure it would have suit those who have a sweeter palate. If we had extra stomach space, I would have loved to try the lasagna (because the fried version was so nice!) Nothing wrong with the dessert per se, but they were the weakest course… which was a little odd. The chocolate crème brûlée was fine but nothing to write home about … while the sticky toffee pudding was not the right texture for me. The coffees were delightful though!! Overall, this was a good find! I’d love to go back during the day and try their brunch - the Malaysian in me is intrigued by the chai tow kway & paratha (the description is that for chai tow kway so not sure where the paratha comes in, but I wanna try it!!)”
“Oh my goodness, I must come back here one day! I've missed eating coffee shop pastries so much (due to being vegan), but the food, drinks and service here blew me away. It's worth a visit to Chester for this coffee shop alone.”
“Can’t believe I’ve only just discovered this cute cafe. A nice selection of vegan food in a chilled out environment. The owners were lovely and welcoming, to top it off, they played Pokémon go with us ;) I will definitely be coming here again. Just outside the centre but gets you out for a nice walk in the park.”
“Kind & polite service from the 4 members of staff working on Sunday afternoon. Happily sat where I wanted. Well decorated and colourful inside with loads of plants on a few different levels including hanging baskets. The coffee latte was very tasty and I popped in some brown sugar. Good blend, good temperature, good beans. I was asked about allergies and milk options, which was professional. The café was kept very clean despite the rainy, windy weather outside the Chester Rows on a blustery Sunday. A perfect pitstop for a Dad-AKA-taxi-driver for one of my kids volunteering for an hour or two for their Duke of Edinburgh.”
“Great café! Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were friendly. A nice place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast or lunch.”
“I live in Farndon and I have been to the Raven loads of times, and it never disapoints. I now have a favourite meal there, the salt and pepper chicken wings with potato tots, Mac n cheese and chips. Since it is alot I usually share with my cousin since it is her fav too. I have to say..... No. 1 CHICKEN WINGS IN THE WORLD! #wingwednesdayisthebestday”
“Just exceptional as always. Never fails to deliver on all fronts. Good and drink selection and quality and just wonderful staff. We now live an hour away but will continue to frequent this wonderful venue”
“Called in to order a takeaway. Fantastic service and food was generous and authentic.”
“Please please please come to this place. Absolutely everything I ate was bliss. The waitress was friendly and sweet, the chef was friendly and sweet, and beyond bloody talented. I am on cloud nine eating here, best experience in Chester for my entire life. FYI: it's literally off the beaten path, you have to go down the cobblestones for Rufus court”
