Sumptuous dishes in Liverpool

“Used be a standard burger place but has recently been taken over by an Indian family - still offer burgers etc but the Indian food is top notch! Had garlic naan, butter chicken, chicken chaat, biryani - so much food and only cost us 10£/head. Will be back next week Edit: website is shocking though - please fix it asap or you will lose customers. Website either freezes or says the order has gone through (on pay on arrival) but then get told they don’t have any record of it abd you have to reorder and wait”

“Been here a few times and food has been great every time. Really struggled to choose what to eat today as I was very hungry and everything sounded so good! Settled on a small plate of southern fried "chicken" bites and a mini dirty fries with vegan doner meat (£15 total). Staff were helpful in advising how big portions were. Both fridges were delicious, and generous portions. Surprised I managed to eat everything but there was quite a bit of salad on the dirty fries for which I was grateful, as it might have been a bit too heavy otherwise. I would definitely have both these items again. ☺️”

“What a lovely place... I'd call it a cafe, but it's much more than that! The food is great, well presented and delicious. The girls are friendly, welcoming and efficient too, and there's a lovely ambiance. They don't just sell great food, but they have really unusual gifts, cards and some groceries too. I've only tried the eat in service, but they also provide a take out too. Five stars all the way!”

“Heard about this cafe from family members, and from their recommendation we made it on Saturday. Well worth that visit, amazing. First off this place is small so when we had a party of eight, it could have been tricky. No reservations are taken but they did say if we could wait 15 mins they could accommodate us. Excellent. Other reviews say the coffee is excellent, I'll agree with that. Stayed hot for ages too! The Amor breakfast at £8.25 is a steel and well worth it. A smaller version at £6.25 is available. Tastes amazing. Staff excellent and friendly. Well worth a return visit. Well done the Amor team.”

“Visited Millon restaurant this evening for the first time. The restaurant is lovely and clean and we were welcomed by staff. The meals were top quality, and I can honestly say the chicken tikka biryani is the best I've ever tasted. We WILL definitely visit this lovely restaurant again. Marie & Peter”

Great meal deal for one £10.20. “Came to Pannys after an Anfield tour on a Friday afternoon. It was surprisingly the only chip shop open in the area but to be honest am glad it was. The food was lovely, good portion sizes for money but most importantly the service was really friendly. Am a Merseyside native but live in Nottinghamshire and Nothing compares to the Northern chippies. This was lovely, will definitely be back.”

“Had an absolutely delicious 2 course meal as part of the early bird menu. It was slightly cold in there as we were first there but the food more than made up for it. Would definitely visit again maybe wearing something a bit warmer.”

“Visited near Christmas in an afternoon for lunch. The food was really nice - and a little bit more unusual for what you'd normally expect from a 'tourist attraction' type place! The staff were friendly and helpful with assisting with a gluten intolerance that one of our party has. Would definitely recommend for if you are visiting Chester Zoo!”

“We came in off the chance late on a Saturday. The restaurant was so busy we thought we would be turned away. A little 5 minute wait in the bar and was shown to our table. Louise was looking after us, her service was great and we was well looked after all evening. The food was delicious, drinks was great. Not sure what more you could ask for!”

“Don’t be fooled because this place is situated on a motorway service station, the quality of the food and service is superb and has been for almost a decade. I’ve always been impressed by the cleanliness and service, a few more veggie options would be great or perhaps some mock meat but that aside a wonderful place for a curry possibly the best in Warrington”

“Fist time visiting the restaurant and omg it was amazing, food was so good, not to expensive, great atmosphere. The restaurant looked really nice, so much thought got put into it and you can tell. The waitress who served us was very lovely nothing was to much trouble, she always had a smile on her face, her name was trish. All the staff were lovely will definitely be visiting again :-) 10/10”
