“Visited for the first time on a Wednesday, which is burger night, so obviously had to have a couple burgers! Very tasty on the whole, although the ratios of sauce to burger could definitely be worked on - one had a bit too much and the other needed lots more! Definitely recommend the PBJ time burger if you fancy something a bit different (and don't have a nut allergy). Shared some churros for dessert and these were very good. The atmosphere was also lovely, nice touch having board games and cards available. The real highlight was the friendly staff though, really made us feel welcome and made the night special.”

“We came here tonight on 22nd October for my granddaughters 10th birthday, we were not met with a smile and swiftly put to a table which was a bit disappointing but if you can get past the cold welcome the food is actually really nice and it was a warm atmosphere. There was a lovely young girl with long curly hair and she was amazing, she couldn’t do enough for us and served us at the table and took all our requests with a smile, she absolutely made our night and I hope she gets the credit she deserves.”

“Called in for something to eat for tea whilst staying nearby. It was a very nicely done out pub, not particularly busy at the time we arrived. We ordered on the app, drinks arrived promptly and as we were seated near the kitchen area, we had a good view of the food being prepared and served to various other diners. Our food arrived pretty quickly and the young lad that served us was very attentive, popping by the table to check all was OK. We recommend this pub to family we were visiting the next day in Wigan.”

“Best Chinese chippy we have found in the wallasey area. Staff are really friendly. Authentic Chinese meals cooked fresh as you wait. A regular choice on takeaway nights. Favorite meal at the moment is special foo yung. Massive potions, enough for two to share. Nice touch is the free prawn crackers or drink if you spend over a certain amount.”

“Called for a delivery without a menu, they had saved my number and anticipated delivery, the person who took my order was brilliant, helped me pick what I wanted without the menu (sent a menu with my delivery for future orders) and even though I was scatter brained and had to call back to add to the order they were very understanding and pleasant. Food is delicious, fresh and tasty, highly recommend.”

“We were just passing by and wanted to eat something quick. Great food at very good prices, the lady who served us was really polite and helpful. Generous portions, good atmosphere, we would like the music a little bit louder, but that's our personal opinion. It seems popular with takeaway orders, many people came to collect their takeaways but still the service to us was not slow. All in all we will visit again when we are at this neighbourhood.”

“Had an excellent take out from Chews: Chicken and Curry Rice Box and Crispy Chicken Nuggets in Honey Sauce. The chicken is crispy outside and tender inside. The sauces are full of favourites. Service is friendly and prompt. Highly recommended.”
