βI had a great experience at this great pub located just off Esher high street. I had great communication from Liam to confirm my booking of 20 guys. He arranged a room for us upstairs, took table service for lunch and we were so well cared for by Sam. He was very attentive to us. The whole group had great things to say about their food. An excellent pub for a Sunday roast.β
βOur daughter has just finished a week at Camp Wild and she loved it!! This was her first time at Camp Wild, we tried so many different holiday clubs in the last years and it has always been a bit of a struggle, but this week Elsa would wake up early to go to Camp Wild :-) Camp Wild will definitely be our holiday club moving forward. The staff is great and the mixed gender team provides a good balance to the children. They do so many activities; there is really something for everyone to enjoy. Thanks to Camp Wild team!!β
βThe food was outstanding! Highly recommend the pizza, they are stone baked and covered in fresh produce. Staff were friendly and the beer was cold. Only negative is the parking, there isn't any. But that's the whole town to be honest.β
βHidden gem If your anything like me, I tend to type into google βhidden gemsβ then the area when looking for places to eat. Well this is a hidden gem, probably known to the Bayford community and now me. I drive past the bakers arms twice a day. Each time I do, something else catches my eye and I think to myself, I have to come here. So, today I was driving home from work and thought let me see what the name is. As I carried on home I thought to myself iβm coming back here tonight. Its now or never. I got home, got changed and grabbed my partner and left for the Bakers Arms. I had not googled this place or looked it up online, i just knew the name and location. All I can say is wow! As soon as we walked i we where greed so kindly by Martin and walked around to the dining room. The dining room was cosy, very well presented and clean. We both had the lasagne and it was amazing. The flavours burst in your mouth and where lasting, even the chips we ordered on the side where perfectly crisp. Both my partner and I rate our food out of 10 at home and in restaurants I can say i have never got past a 7.5. Today was the the first time I have ever heard him say a meal is a 10 and then change it to an 11. From hospitality, location and food, the Bakers Arms is a must visit. It should be in the class of a hidden gem. Im glad i followed my instincts today and got experience their venue. Thank you to both Martin and Bev for being a great host and providing impeccable food. My Partner is still talking about the lasagne now so thank you for making a lasting impression on him. We look forward to visiting again very soon. All the best Georgina and Charlieβ
βWe had three short stays over a three week period ranging from 5, 3 and 2 nights. The staff, despite always being busy, were very friendly and helpful. Room 110 was small but okay for a couple of nights, just be careful that the shower desn't overflow onto the bathroom floor (the other two rooms had over-bath showers), room 101 was the smallest so maybe better for just an overnighter, room 111 was larger and therefore more comfortable. We had no issues with noise All of the staff, from the bar and restaurant, kitchen and room service were really friendly, helpful and professional. I really appreciated the historical photographs displated throughout the hotel and pub, linking the hotel to the area at the time around WW2 and to the local RAF base at Northolt. The dining room is the former dance hall, you can really imagine how it might have been back in the 1940's. The meals were great value, it was nice to be able to head downstairs early (Breakfast served from 07:00), grab your free coffee and then order brekkie online to your table. As mentioned previously, apart from one slightly sultry guy, everyone was very friendly and, at times, it was very busy in there. This was an ideal location for us, an easy drive from Heathrow and close to the people and places that we wanted to visit. We were very happy with the value, for a London hotel.β
βHad the privilege of being served by Trent and Matthew in the restaurant. Delicious food, fast service and gorgeous venue. Highly recommend for a small night out or a dinner for large groups.β
βFirst time visiting with my friends and will definitely be back! Food was lovely and a very welcoming atmosphere, a special thank you to Clio who served us and was amazing! So glad I found this gem!β
βVery nice standard of rooms, large and clean. Very quiet, especially in inside rooms away from the road. Breakfast was good but as it wasn't busy it was sat under the heaters waiting so didn't feel as fresh as it could have. Bus stop outside or a 10 min walk to the Tube. Staff were pleasant and I will certainly stay again. Good value at the time of booking as had an offer on.β
βWonderful stay at Southgate premier inn. The staff were excellent, friendly and polite. Short walk to Southgate underground to get into central London. Have a fantastic stay with family..β
βWe enjoyed everything about our 2 night stay. The location was convenient, the food was delicious, the staff were helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable, and the check in-out process was smooth.β
βSecond time staying here in 2025. Itβs a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and modern with the required facilities. The breakfast buffet is very good with lots of different options. The location is super convenient for most tourist attractions. The Waterloo station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.β
βGiven it's location it is very quiet and the bed was super. So the main criteria of a good night's sleep was achieved. Good connections via Limehouse DLR and local buses. The yurt cafe is very good and does light meals and drinks during the he day. The breakfast is very good and was included in the price. Its continental rather than a fry up - but very nice. Wouldn't hesitate on booking again. Nice NOT to have a TV in the roomβ
βIt is rare to find somebody who goes above and beyond to ensure their customers are supported and happy. We found this service with George in particular. We moved into our new home as a vulnerable family who had been repeatedly messed around, and George showed us the kindness and the empathy to answer all of our questions to ensure our move was as smooth as possible. We are so grateful! Give him a promotion.β
βThis place is absolutely perfect! Our vrbo got cancelled on the day we arrived in London and thankfully Sanctum came up at the last minute at a reasonable price and had a lot to offer. The room was bright and spacious with a full kitchen and there was groceries right around the corner and a train across the street.β
βAlex made my check-in experience seamless and welcoming. He was extremely professional, courteous, and attentive, handling everything efficiently while maintaining a warm and friendly attitude. His excellent customer service truly set a positive tone for my visitβ
βMedium sized shop with variety of foods. We went for jumbo prawns which is a great buy 2 Γ 1.3kg for Β£30. Really tasty. We bought a couple of other items as well. Great price for Eggs and Milk.β
βWe have visited here many times, simply because of the location, the food, the pub itself and the great service. Almost every time we visit, we are served by the lovely Angela. She always remembers us and greets us with a friendly smile. She has a wonderful sense of humour and always makes our visit a pleasure along with her lovely customer service. Will be visiting many more times in the futureβ
βI thought this place was a really good find! Located opposite the hospital, 10-15 walk from Guildford centre. I stayed in a single room, as I just needed somewhere to put my stuff overnight. The room is a standard single room size enough for a single bed, hanging space for clothes and a small desk and chair. . They provided tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a robe. The robe was needed as I had a shower room to myself, but was located down the hall (also remember to fetch slippers) Luckily though, it was very quiet when I stayed and only saw one other guest. The hotel itself is clean, nicely decorated with nice fittings. The shower room was a bit small, but couldnβt fault the power shower! Again lovely and clean. The room was also well presented and good value for money. The lady at reception was really welcoming and friendly. Also to note the doors donβt lock by themselves so make sure to take your key with you and lock doors behind you when you leave your room. I didnβt have food here, as my stay was really short but the menu seemed nice. Overall a pleasant stay and great value for money!β
βMy Stay at Beckenham hotel was very pleasant. Clean rooms, great welcome and good breakfast. I will be back soon.β
βWe chose to stay here for a weekend in the ready tents. The glamping tents were well equipped with fridge, hob, kettle, toaster etc. It also had bunk beds and a double bed perfect for family of 4 or 5. The sleeping areas were great with blackout sides for a good night's sleep. The site had very clean washing facilities and staff were friendly and welcoming. We will easily be coming back again for another weekend!β
βVery quiet property, safe and secure and amazing location. My husband and l have been staying for over a month and are really pleased we chose to stay here. Very close to the train station, Sainsburyβs, and the Shopping Centre is just round the corner too. Lots of lovely cafes and shops nearby , as well as great value for money , extremely helpful staff; Katie is such a great host and Jamie is always happy to help! I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Katie and Jamie!!β
βStayed 1 night following an in house party. We had asked for a twin room and were assured our allocated room was a twin. It wasn't but as we were only staying 1 night didn't want to make a fuss. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is modern, well decorated and modern. The rooms are well appointed with hair dryer and safe available. Breakfast was lovely with variations to the menu no trouble at all. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.β
βBeautiful hotel in a great location, but this message is to thank GIRISH for going over and above with satisfying my special request for a fire to be laid downstairs. Even though Oct.8 was a little early for that, he got some assistance and made it happen! Two Texas ladies were very grateful for his kindness at the very beginning of our 3 week road trip around Ireland. We're home now and still singing this hotel staffβs praises! Well done!β
βBeen here twice with my boyfriend, and looking forward to coming back soon. The facilities are great, the rooms are nice and big and the food at the Ellis restaurant is always outstanding. Since going there again, the supplement charge has risen though, but the quality of the food is fantastic. The spa treatments are also great and very relaxing. Recommend for a getaway!β
βAmazing experience for our friendβs birthday lunch. The food was delicious with lots of vegan options and the staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Fallon in particular was a wonderful host and made sure we were really well looked after. Would definitely recommend visiting if youβre looking for a genuinely warm and special environment β€οΈβ
βLovely quiet place very close to the Lee Valley park. Common kitchen & room was clean and tidy enough. Perfect for your retreat and a break from your busy weekdays. Friendly staffs and service- thanks to the team :)β
βIf you're an American, the room may seem small. My wife and I were good, but we barely spent time in the room. The staff were great, super helpful. The location is amazing for getting to your sights and tours.β
βSmall but cosy rooms with high-quality sheets and towels. The staff are pleasant, and the breakfast is very good. The cookies at reception are excellent. Do note that laundry charges incur an additional 20% VAT on top of the listed prices. Also, if itβs raining, be prepared to navigate a few puddles on the short walk to Ealing Broadway.β
βFrom the moment we arrived at The Cumberland Hotel, we knew we were in for something special. Our stay was simply wonderful β every detail seemed to be taken care of with genuine care and attention. A huge thank you goes to the VIP team, led by Antonella and Martina, who went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel like true guests of honor. The kids were absolutely thrilled with their little surprises β it was such a thoughtful touch that made them feel extra special. Seeing their smiles made our stay even more meaningful. And as for me, I was deeply touched by the lovely birthday treatment β from the kind gestures to the personalized surprises, everything was done with such heart. Itβs rare to find a team that puts so much effort into making guests feel celebrated and appreciated. The hotel itself was fantastic β comfortable, stylish, and perfectly located β but itβs really the people who made this experience stand out. Thank you, Antonella, Grace, Martina, and the whole Cumberland team, for creating such beautiful memories for our family. We left with full hearts and canβt wait to return!β
βI stayed at the Crowne Plaza Ealing for one night as I had a party nearby. I would like to thank the team for a wonderful stay. From check-in to check-out, everything was handled very professionally. The gentleman who checked me in recognized my membership, provided all the necessary information, and kindly offered a late check-out. As someone who works in the same industry, I truly appreciate the excellent service and attention to detail. Thank you once again for a pleasant and comfortable stay.β
