The classes are great, with loads of variety and brilliant instructors who make it fun and motivating. Bliss from the membership team is always super helpful, and Della at reception greets everyone with a smile. It makes such a difference walking into a place where people know your name and actually care.”

“For 20 years I've been driving down the main road and never have I noticed the entrance to the park until today and decided to visit. Absolute gem in the area! It has all the facilities needed for a great day out from the burger van with hot drinks, playground, picnic area, water sports equipment through to the shower and toilets. There is a fee to pay for entry but not that significant and for what you can experience here it's a fair price to pay. I am very happy that we found another fabulous place to come with a family.”

“I recently joined the gym at Wandle Recreation Centre and have been thoroughly impressed! The gym has a fantastic junior session that encourages kids to get active in a supportive environment. The staff here are incredibly helpful, and I want to give a special shout-out to Kim, who went above and beyond to assist us during the sign-up process. Her patience and knowledge made the experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this gym as a wonderful space for families looking to get fit together!”

“This is an excellent gym. It has a full range of equipment and because it's not too crowded I never have any problem getting on to a machine or using the weights I need. I use a PT there (Gleicio) who is superb; highly professional, knowledgeable, motivational but also friendly. I'm so much stronger now, and he's transformed the way I train. I'd recommend him to anybody who is serious about their fitness and strength.”

“Great outdoor lake for a swim complete with ducks and wild landscape. You need to book online in advance and wear clothes easy to change into outdoor in the open on the shore before/after. Would be great if there were open outdoor cold water shower to rinse off afterwards as you do get a bit of pond weeds stick to you; hopefully something that can be added soon.”

“Great staff, very accommodating and friendly. Hydropool and main pool could be a bit hotter at times but some people like it cooler so you can't please everyone. Shannon is absolutely brilliant and is on top of everything, the hydropool is always hot when she is around which helps with my back problems, when she is on shift, she is on top of everything and you can count on things to be tip top shape. Never a dull moment.”

“Brilliant gym that isn't like a standard council gym at all. Everything is clean and new, amazing range of modern classes with great instructors, pool has swim and steam rooms, the staff are always visible on desk and are helpful. I'm almost regretting posting this because I don't want it to become inundated! This is a great gym and I highly recommend it.”

“Golds gym is a great all rounder gym with great changing rooms which house a woman’s only jacuzzi, steam and sauna. The swimming pool is great and also has another jacuzzi. The gym has two floors of equipment, with an extensive weight selection. The classes are very popular so book early to avoid dis-appointment. The cleaners work really hard in keeping the gym lovely and clean and the staff are all very helpful and welcoming.”

“The main reason I'm going to this gym is because I follow my personal trainer Bernard (@pt.bernard on instagram) around wherever he goes! He's been training me since 2018 and my life hasn't been the same since. He's supportive, checks in with me every session to tailor it to my needs that day, and has given me lots of health/diet/fitness advice besides only in our sessions. He's made me lots stronger so I can be a confident base in partner acrobatics. All in all, I really go to this Fitness First for him. :) The gym itself is ok, the sauna and steamroom are nice, but the whole place is deeply in need of a renovation.”

“Great place to come, a large space with a swimming pool, library and gym, as well as a cafe. The pool is a reasonably big one where they sometimes run classes and there is also a kids pool next to the main pool. The gym is also pretty big, with lots of running machines and lots of different sections. The library has books for all ages and in all different categories of books. I recommend coming here.”

“Met a very helpful and professional young man named Tee who gave some great advise regarding types of membership, however his colleague makyta could do with some training in regards to what’s appropriate conversation within a work environment.”

“Used NOX Golders Green for a work trip. Fantastic location with plenty of places to eat locally and close to the tube station. The room was clean and perfect for our stay. The staff at reception (Alex) was fantastic - He made us feel very welcome and gave us plenty of tips for travelling around London. Thanks!”

“I know the Dog and Fox very well but had never stayed in the hotel. It was a great decision, a beautifully comfortable bed, spacious and clean room . Breakfast was also excellent with multiple choices of continental and traditional dishes on offer. All cooked dishes were prepared to order and piping hot. My stand out part of the visit were the staff, highly trained, cheerful and helpful. In the bar, restaurant and reception they didn’t fail to impress. I have to also mention housekeeping , although I didn’t see them it was obvious they were working hard in the background to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Can’t recommend enough and will definitely be back .”

“I love this place. I have a membership, and it has a huge amount of classes for fitness to choose. The pools are huge indoor and outdoor. Staff are friendly, and fitness teachers are amazing. Better is a great gym, and I would recommend it to everyone. During summer you can use the Lido pool and have yoga, aqua aerobics outside. There is a car parking with lots of spaces. If you are a member of the gym, you can pay a fee of £5 at the staff desk and your Registration will be added to the Council list and you will have up to 4h free in the car park for a year.”

“I love Gold’s! The staff, facilities, and vibes at the gym are truly unmatched. The equipment is always well-maintained, the place is spotless, and there’s a great energy that keeps you motivated every session. I love the classes, especially yoga with Shiraz!!!! The team and reception staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a proper gym with a real community feel!!”

“I’ve been a member since just before Covid and this place kickstarted my love of fitness, to the extent that I’ve now become a qualified instructor myself. I started off with Nancy’s classes and found her so professional- greeting every new participant and learning their name so that you always felt welcomed. I loved her fun approach and inclusivity. Sadly work means I can only do her classes in the school holidays now, but when I do, I leave pump and dance fit on a Thursday morning with a well-needed injection of joy!”

“I never do reviews but I can’t thank the staff enough for how accommodating they all were. I stayed with my little brother who has autism and the staff at the front desk ensured he was comfortable when things were a little bit loud in the reception by asking us if we would like to go in the back room. The restaurant staff were also very accommodating to his needs but a man called Marquise who works in the restaurant is a real life angel!! He really went above and beyond for us ensuring my brother had everything he needed and helping me feel comfortable. It can sometimes be nerve wrecking going somewhere new with a child who has special needs, especially one who only eats certain foods but Marquise really really went out of his way to meet my brothers needs whilst also reassuring me that anything I need to please just ask! We need more people like Marquise in this world! If you are a SEN parent or career you know how much of a difference people like him make to your trip. Thank you!!”

“Quick night away for our anniversary. The staff was very helpful and extremely gracious. The room was surprising large and very well appointed. The whole place was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We even got a wonderful massage that had us feeling terrific. Already looking for an excuse to go back, highly recommend!”

“I visited the Sports Centre Tennis Court to attend an event. I really had a good time. The reception staff member was kind, he directed us to the courts and changing rooms. The facilities were clean.”

“Great gym, rarely overcrowded in the gym, functional rooms as well as the pool area. Functional room and functional area is great for Calisthenics training. Family vibe, and very good value for the facilities provided.”

“Possibly the best affordable themed pool in England, almost waterpark size minus the high price. The water temperature was perfectly warm, there were 2 hot tubs and plenty of rides, of which 3 were long. The decor was artistic, featuring model fishes and some rocky landscaping between things. Also there was a wave machine and enough space to swim laps in the 1.5 metres end.”

“I had my son's swimming party here and it was fantastic. The staff were so helpful and the pool looked amazing with the sensory lights, swim toys and music. We did not feel rushed to leave at the end and were given a huge room for cake and food. Thank you for a great day. I would really recommend this venue.”

“Brilliant service! I signed up today with my mum and we were thoroughly impressed with the level of care and attention throughout our visit. Zack was amazing — he gave us a brilliant tour without being pushy. He came across as very genuine and authentic while giving us all the information needed. We also toured another club which was a higher tier but the vibe here and the overall service stood out far more. Thank you!”

We did experience it for ourselves and we had an amazing experience with a relaxing enviroment hosted by brilliant staff jackie and steve, also the regulars and other vistors made us so welcome and a worth while visit. we will be coming back.”

“Hi Yvonne. Sorry you had a wasted journey. 1st weekend closed in 48 years isn't too bad though is it? We had closed as the owner got married that weekend and all our customers were emailed . As well as this, there were notices on the main gate and on the counter. Again we can only apologise for your wasted journey but as it was a bank holiday, maybe a phone call first would have helped?”
