“My wife is disabled, so we booked the wheelchair seats at top of cinema 6. The staff were most helpful assisting us in the lift and making sure the toilet was unlocked. The cinema seating arrangement was superb, clean and very comfortable. A member of staff then helped us back to the lift. Congratulations to staff members and a big thank you to them, sorry I didn’t get their names. A very pleasant experience and a good film.”

“Food was lovely, and service was amazing. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Me and my partner ordered the mac and cheese with bacon, and a mixed grill. The mac and cheese was extremely cheesy and the bacon was juicy, and the steak in the mixed grill was cooked to perfection. We also decided to go for dessert, the chocolate fudge cake, which was just as good as the mains.”

“I rarely write reviews, but our experience with Point A Hotel Kings Cross—and especially with Clara—deserves every bit of praise. Back in May 2025, I had to cancel my long-awaited trip to London due to a heartbreaking emergency: my cat was suddenly hospitalized. I cancelled the trip to stay by her side but my reservation was made via agoda under a non-refundable policy, Clara, with incredible compassion and dedication, went above and beyond to help us. Her kindness really meant a lot to us especially both emotionally and practically. Thankfully, my cat made a full recovery in September 2025, and we were finally able to visit London and stay at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The room was cozy and very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure (a small detail, but it makes a big difference!). Breakfast was a delight each morning and it is free! Lovely pastries, croissants, and a selection of fruits and yogurts that made starting the day feel indulgent. Clara, thank you again for your warmth, your patience, and your passion for helping guests. Point A Hotel is lucky to have you—and so were we. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.”

“Wow what a difference with the regular SpoetDirect shops. This is organised, very spacious, friendly staff, incredible selection of sportsware. And like other stores they are dirt cheap most of the time. I might normally walk into a SpoetDirect with "anxiety/frustration/anger" but this store is totally different.”

Charlie gave a hearty welcome and gave us a table explaining the online ordering process. The wait for the food was appropriate. And she checked to make sure everything was ok. I saw her support an elderly couple who were struggling with the whole QR code situation with their order. Overall I'm happy and will recommend, 4 stars as I thought the prices for what you get weren't great.”

“Had a chicken escalope which was lovely and a good size for what I paid. The coffee was standard, nothing terrible. The staff were friendly too. I would go back if I wanted lunch again while shopping.”

“BEST AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD IN GRAYS!!! Since we found out about China Phoenix, we cannot order anywhere else. First of all, we wanted to try them because of their beef Ho Fun which nowhere else sell it and it is amazing. You can tell they make their food with love and dedication as it is always fresh, flavourful, hot and very packed. The boy on the phone is always very polite, helpful and friendly. No other Chinese food delivery tastes like this. Super recommended and our go to are the beef ho fun, nasi goreng, Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken, sesame prawn toast, beef in black bean sauce and special chow mein. Defoo worth a try!!”

“We had a lovely one night layover at this hotel. Bee, at the desk, was extremely helpful in making sure we had the accommodations we had requested. So lovely. Even as we were waiting for confirmation she put our phone on charge. Carlos helped us with nearby options for activities. We enjoyed the chat and our room was better than expected. Lovely people to work with.”

“Really loved it here, new restaurant on boardwalk in Lakeside, was on the way to Wagamama but saw this and walked in. Service, Food and drink along with the restaurant and location are nearly faultless, or they were for our visit. Good bits Cocktails: honey bee and rum crumble delicious Starters: Lobster bonbons and King prawn and Lobster bites dish, presented beautifully and delicious, was piping hot also Mains: Ramen broth with sirloin, spicy and interesting, better than Wagamama (bit more expensive but worth it). Wagu burger with truffle fries, very hot and fresh, moist lovely texture Bad bits Am really being critical here and these are mentioned as to help the restaurant Glass stuck to table (I pretended to be a magician and two waitresses couldn't move it) table and / or glass obviously not clean and dried 100% Fantastic meal and visit, thanks very much was first meal out in a long time Good luck with this new venture and we will return soon Waitress spilled a bit of my cocktail”
