“Atmosphere-superb. Food-superb. Customer service-superb. Deliberating where to have lunch, looking at the menu here when the waiter approached us. The warm welcome lured us in and we were not disappointed. Recommendations for drinks, a very well looked after 9 year old and plates finished. Not residents of London but frequent visitors. “I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Zizzi Richmond today, thanks to Roland and the team! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Roland was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure every detail of my dining experience was perfect. I also have to mention the pizza—honestly, it was amazing! Perfectly cooked, with the right amount of toppings, and full of flavor. It was one of the best pizzas I've had in a while! Highly recommend this location if you're in the area. There is a lunch menu for a typical set Thai lunch (starter and a main) for£9.95 Monday to Friday. I highly recommend this Thai place in Putney. Update: They changed the lunch menu slightly. Still excellent.”

“As a photographer, Scots Richmond is such a hidden gem to work at. Tucked away in the beautiful surroundings of Richmond, it offers a lovely mix of charm, character, and style. The space has this warm, intimate feel while still being elegant, which creates the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed yet classy wedding day. From a photography point of view, there are so many great backdrops to work with whether it’s the stylish interiors, the natural light filtering through the windows, or the nearby greenery for outdoor portraits. The team at Scots Richmond are also fantastic super helpful, kind, and genuinely care about making the day run smoothly for everyone involved. Just a short stroll from Richmond Bridge, it boasts incredible, panoramic views towards Richmond Hill. Beyond the scenery, we loved the true family-style experience, complete with shared tables shaded by large umbrellas which are brilliant for protection from the elements. It's clearly a place that embraces everyone, as it's wonderfully pet-friendly. The combination of superb food and a genuine selection of Munich beers made for an unforgettable afternoon. “What a lovely and amazing place. The dining rooms are as beautiful as the food. Its however more expensive than a Michelin starred restaurant. £394 for 4 of us. So control the drinking! Loved the litre of sicilian lemonade, reminded me of Glastonbury lemonade carts. My only little gripe, was it was winter, I had a long coat, and the host should have taken our coats as there is only a dirt floor and your coat tails trail in the dust. They eventually came to hang it up in their cloakroom”

The vegetarian options were superb – particularly the wrap and the tomato/tofu cream. We'll be dreaming of the meringue, eclair and scones for weeks! “Stayed here for several days on a trip to London. All the staff we encountered were pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The room itself was very fresh, clean and had a good amount of space. We had twin beds, a small table and chair set, an opening window, TV, small area to hang and store clothes, plus the bathroom. There was also air conditioning in the room, and it wasn't the most powerful but a welcomed addition. We had the breakfast, cooked breakfast and cold items like cereal and fruit were there. Not a massive selection, but enough to keep you going for the day going forward. Hotel felt safe as well. The hotel has great access to bus stops, virtually outside the door which can help you get around the area or down to the train/tube station. Although the walk to Richmond town is not far if you are able to do the walk.”

“An excellent restaurant with brilliant service and great sanitation. We felt looked after and safe the entire evening! Food was one of the best we have had in London. We got the aloo tiki chaat, papdi chat, salmon, shashlik and terichelly prawns for the starter and we were blown away by the authentic flavours. My favourite would have to be the aloo tiki chaat and the prawns. Everything tasted fresh and tender with perfectly balanced flavours. For the main meal, we got the methi gobi, chettinad, butter chicken and dal makhani with rice, naan and paratha; all were superb! There was a range of spice levels and something for everyone in the family, veg and non-veg. The portions were a great size and the presentation of the food and drinks made the evening even better. I am normally quite particular and uncompromising about food but I have never been so impressed. We will definitely revisit many more times in the future.”

“Brilliant restaurant that has survived here since 1982 under the same ownership. One of the oldest in the area, that says a lot. Service is good, have drinks on drafts and prices are reasonable. They accommodated us very late on Boxing Day and most importantly the food was great, at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.”

“Two night stay, great location, 2 min walking distance to a lot of great eateries on Richmond High Street, and to the tube station. Only downside is parking, there’s a very expensive multi storey next door, and a slightly better NCP multi storey behind the tube station. Rooms clean and staff polite, would happily come again”
