“We had great service and food here. A lunchtime special carbonaara dish, along with 2 kids big eater meal deals. One mac and cheese and the other pizza. I'd definitely recommend the pizza as it tasted fresh and delicious. The chocolate brownie and ice cream was also very good. Just one thing, there could have been a little more veg for the kids.”

“A new exciting lebanese place has open on Romford Road, East London. They have a private dinning area downstairs. The shop floor had seating for about 25 people, a further 30 people in the basement and also an outdoor seating area for 10. On a nice sunny day, you can enjoy the sun beaming with a lovely tasty meal and nice range of mojitos. They do shisha here too, so it is nice to relax in the evening on the front decking. My personal favourites are the grilled jumbo halloumi cheese and hummus for starters. Lamb Shawarma platter with chips or spicy potatoes and salad for mains. Some grilled wings for good measure. A strawberry mojito to finish it off. Very friendly staff, nice family atmosphere and good music from Amr Diab. Waqas, the owner is a real gentlemen. He has created a lovely halal restaurant, you will enjoy your time here. Salim Patel”

“Upscale Mediterranean Restaurant near Regents Park with a fantastic three course lunch replete with grilled fresh catch, grilled lamb, Greek yogurt & berries. Turkish delight a plus! So great, went a second time and sat indoors for a dinner either excellent service, grilled sardines and lamb.”

“Awesome East End pub, lovely staff, good beers, great beer garden, karaoke Mondays and quiz Wednesdays 6 to 8. Comfortable tub chairs and leather sofas and traditional bar stools. Nice crowd.”

“Very nice mini golf course. We went during the summer holidays and the place was empty - no complaints from me :) I had my 5 year old with me and he loves the course as he is a dinosaur fanatic and also because the course was at a good level for his abilities. Staff were friendly and approachable. I also found this place to be cheaper than others I was looking at. The cheaper price did not mean we had a cheaper experience. Hope to go back soon”

“Absolutely great place. There is a ramp in so no problem for wheelchairs. Lots of space inside including some comfortable booths and tables. 10 of us went including a wheelchair user and had lots of space and no problems. Food was great. Had burgers, pizzas, ribs, chicken skewers and some sides. All really tasty. My daughter had an issue with the ribs and they great, taking it away and removing the sauce and giving her some in a dish on the side. Service was great. Can't fault it. Had drinks but they were also happy to give us tap water. Only issue (and nothing to do with the restaurant) is parking. Not many spaces and you can only park for 30 minutes before 6:30. There are side streets so you will find a space but may take a few minutes. There are buses though. And Worcester Park train station, which is about a 5-10 minutes walk away. It's not cheap but not super expensive. Totally recommend the place”

The warm welcome lured us in and we were not disappointed. Recommendations for drinks, a very well looked after 9 year old and plates finished. Not residents of London but frequent visitors. “Excellent service from Maria (my previous review has gone so apologies if her name is not Maria) she was attentive without being over burdening, we had many tasty cocktails and shooters. We had visited as an off the cuff birthday, mainly for the cocktails tbh. The food was nice, the drinks great, the atmosphere amazing, the service excellent. Even when the birthday cake came out, which I hadn't expected. As an impromptu evening it was great and I look forward to returning with a larger group.”

“Reliable Comfort Food & Great Service! Pizza Hut Banstead is my go-to when I'm craving that classic pan pizza, and it rarely disappoints. On my last visit for a takeaway, the service was particularly quick and friendly, making the whole experience very smooth. I ordered my usual, a large Vegetable Pizza with a stuffed crust, and it was piping hot and perfectly cheesy when I picked it up. The crust had that signature crispiness on the outside and was wonderfully doughy inside, just how I like it. My side order of Cheesy Bites were also a hit – gooey and garlicky. What truly stood out this time was the efficiency of the team. Even though it seemed quite busy, my order was ready precisely when they said it would be, and the staff member at the counter I believe her name was Pooja, she was incredibly helpful was cheerful and ensured everything was correct. It's these consistent, positive interactions that keep me coming back. While it's not gourmet pizza, Pizza Hut delivers on its promise of satisfying, comforting fast-food pizza. Perfect for a relaxed evening in. Highly recommended for a reliable pizza fix!"”

“The lager was brilliant, ended up spending like a hundred quid but it was worth it. The inside looks old but unique and the outside seating is very spacious too. Nice beer garden with various decorations as well.”

“I went in today to get some oil for my car. I was kind of dreading it as the customer service I got the first and last time wasn’t great, but with my regular place being closed I went in reluctantly as I was desperate. Well today I got Zach, and what a great interaction it was. He was polite , friendly and very helpful with all my questions without being condescending. I appreciate the extra time he took to double check alternatives to make sure I was getting the one that best fitted my car make. Definitely a credit to the shop and he has definitely changed my mind about coming back. Zach, keep up the good work. I’m sure I’m not the first to feel this way. Stay blessed.”

“Lovely Indian restaurant with a very lovely and helpful service team. The service was exquisite and made us feel very welcome. The quality of the food was really good, lots of well spiced chutneys, salads and meats. The poppadoms and the sauces and salads were all fresh and tasty, especially the mint mango sauce and onion and cabbage salad. The bhajis were well spiced and crispy while not being soggy. The tandoori thali we had was grilled very well and did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy and flavourful, the lamb was nice and soft and the kebab was especially flavourful. The naan was steaming fresh and crispy, a delightful combination with the meats and sauces. The rice was also fragrant and boiled to perfection. The pricing was more than reasonable and we fed 3 people comfortably for 40 quid. Overall, I have to say this is one of the nicer Indian restaurants that I have visited.”

“I have been to Middeys on several occasions and they offer a wide-range of excellent halal dishes. The drinks are also superb - I love the lychee bubbles - and the service is fantastic place. It is very popular but have gone several times without needing to book.”

“the wait was about 35m but the queue feels fast as the ride spins just next to you. the water effects on the ride splash you and its good fun for all of the family. my only complaint is the lack of protection for your bags in the middle. with all the water effects, your bags can often get quite wet with water ricocheting off of the seats. aside from that, it is one of the better rides at chessington.”
