“Great place to learn to sail. Coarse was over 2days at the weekend and this one was run by Chris. He explained all that would be involved for us to do throughout the coarse. We spent half the time each day out on the water and the only issue was lack of wind but was still able to get practice in to pass the coarse. Very relaxed friendly place and the young volunteers who help us were very understanding of us being novices. Due to issues of lack of wind had been offered couple free sessions when we want to help us get more experience. Would recommend this outdoor centre to all wanting to learn to sail or do other water based activities.”

“Impressed with the layout & especially the interactivity for children. Although this is a great piece of history. It is also a great day out with river walks, canal walks, boat rides countryside & woodland walks. Large carpark. Easy access even for a motorhome (well upto 7m any way) sadly no overnight parking to extend your stay to enjoy the nearby pubs. Definitely worth a visit and next time we'll bring the grandkids.”

“Went to see Barbie with some friends. The seats were very comfy, lots of room. The popcorn was really fresh and the hotdogs were okay. The movie watching area was cool instead of freezing (great stuff!) and it was super clean! Staff were courteous and nice”

“This was our first time using Ellen Smith Coach Company and I have to say they were 5 star. From the punctual pick up at our home to the return journey everything was first class. Our driver Yvonne was wonderful and went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect for us. She was a careful and skilled driver. Despite us sitting at the back of the coach the journey was so smooth and you hardly knew you were moving. This was down to her excellent driving skills. The hotel The Royal York and Faulkner was also first class and this was obvious from the extremely efficient and quick way we were all checked in. This hotel prides itself in dedication and attention to detail to ensure that an atmosphere of relaxation and friendliness pervades. The hotel enjoys an unrivalled position on the sea front at Sidmouth and minutes walk from the beautiful town centre. What a superb holiday. Definitely will be returning with Ellen Smith. “This year, we decided to break away from the usual kids' party and have a kayaking party at the lake. We were not disappointed! It was affordable, and everything was included equipped, wetsuits, and instructors. The staff were friendly, and most of all, every single child enjoyed it. Plus, the kids were learning so many skills without even realising it. I would highly recommend it!”

'Tan', your Driver came to pick us up, from the start nothing too much trouble. He was smart, helpful and informative and put us all at ease., and the coach was spotless and comfortable. The itinerary was perfect, and informative it taught us a lot of the history of Sheffield and Steel. We saw old and new building's, Wentworth statley home, RHA flower show, Hamlet all thought out with care. The Hotel 'Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria'was beautiful, lovely and clean welcoming and the staff very helpful. Food excellent, the rooms excellent especially with all the extras, which we didn't expect but made it all the more welcoming. Your Driver made the holiday, with his charm and respect, and thoughtfulness, and we are all looking forward to another coach trip with your company, as we know we will be in good hands.”

“Had a fantastic 5 days in Devon, staying at the Headland hotel. The food was good quality and ample, breakfast was self serve with a good choice available. Evening dinner was exceptionally good with a varied menu and the waitress couldn't do enough for us. Goeff, our driver was brilliant. I would not hesitate to book with this company again.”

He searched for cruise line options, then gave options available to us, best cabins to meet our requirements, parking at port v transport to port v on board credit. The training is of a very high standard and the members are very sociable. The club organises a number of diving trips a year catering for all levels of diving ability in addition to numerous social events.”
