βStayed here when I went to a concert in Manchester. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, Levon made me feel welcome. He greeted me with a genuine smile and handled the check-in process quickly and professionally. Even though I had a few special requests, he was patient, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of without any hassle. What really stood out to me was how friendly and approachable he was throughout my stay. Whether I needed directions, restaurant suggestions, or help with a small issue in my room, Levon was always available and eager to help. He has a calm, polite manner that instantly puts you at ease. It's clear that he takes pride in his work and cares about the guest experience. My stay felt smooth and stress-free. Heβs a real asset to the hotel, and Iβll definitely return β partly because of the great service I received at the front desk.β
βGreat service by everyone, free breakfast, smiley faces. Quiet place. But the location is abit poor. It's too far from man city center and from everything really. But the staff were absolutely brilliant. Dated decor but cleanβ
βGreat staff and great service. Love been greeting by Rosie the dog. Made my day. Especially after having breast cancer treatment. The pool and gym next door has great facilities. Back in November.β
βSimple and good hotel, with an excellent location in the northern part of the city center. Very close to the Arndale Mall and surrounded by many shops and restaurants. Exceptional service β quick, efficient, respectful, and pleasant. Clean rooms and overall a very clean hotel. The dining area is a bit crowded for my taste, and the English breakfast is basic.β
βOverall experience was pleasant. Small issue with our room which was quickly resolved by staff. Ben on reception the night manager is brilliant really goes above and beyond! Also when checking in Mia was so busy and remained so calm, courteous & professional. Would highly recommend Will stay here againβ
βhad a great time staying at the hotel overnight to attend a concert in manchester, thank you very much!β
βWe spent the night here to explore Manchester City and Media City. What a delightful visit. The staff was very pleasant. Good breakfast. The room is cozy and pleasant. Fantastic waterfront close to a hotel, a shopping center, and a media center. You should pay for parking on arrival.β
βThree of us stayed two nights whilst attending a family event nearby. We found the hotel clean, warm and comfortable, the staff extremely welcoming and very, very helpful. The breakfast was generous and well prepared with a huge selection of fruit, cheeses, cereals and pastries to chose from including nuts and seeds to sprinkle plus jams, honey etc on tap, none of those horrid little polluting plastic containers. The restaurant is bright and airy with comfortable seating and lovely views of the garden. This is a great hotel if you need outdoor space, there are huge lawns and patio areas. We found parking easy though at busier times that may be an issue, it's not huge. We ate in the restaurant one evening and we're pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and my daughter's need for lacto- and gluten-free catered for. Our room was adequately spacious even with the (very comfy) sofa-bed open for use, when it's folded away it would be a very generous space, great lighting too, the separate bathroom and toilet makes for convenience when sharing, that's rare in a modern hotel. We left a precious item behind and the staff very kindly prepared it for posting back and it arrived safely. It was our first experience of Novotel and we wouldn't hesitate to use this one again and highly recommend it.β
βGemma was our lovely receptionist & bar maid. Friendly & welcoming with a lovely smile to go with her great hospitality. All 7 of us had a great stay. Rooms are extremely clean, breakfast was amazing and enjoyed by all. Thank you !!β
βAnnual Christmas party. The staff are lovely and really helpful. Food was tasty and piping hot considering there was 75 of us to be served simultaneously. Loads of car parking spaces. Good bus routes into Stockport/Manchesterβ

βNice pub, just taken over by a new landlady who is very friendly and welcoming.β
βCame shortly after Christmas with our dog hoping to get some food&bevs. Lovely staff, dog friendly and the food was great. They went the extra mile when they were out of the vegetarian option and provided a delicious meal for myselfβ
βGood clean room. Great breakfast. Would stay again.β
βFrom the moment I stepped in, this place just felt welcoming. An actual key for the room gave it a charming, personal touch you donβt often see anymore. Free parking, free WiFi, and a bed so comfortable I nearly missed checkout β all at a price thatβs hard to beat. The building may be older, but itβs clearly loved and cared for, and it shows. A special mention to Carla, who I spoke to in the morning β she was outstanding. Passionate about the local area and genuinely invested in guests having a great time, sheβs a real asset to the business. If she worked at my company, it would be a better place. Any future visits to Manchester β this will be my go-to hotel.β
βVillage Hotel, Ashton delivers a solid stay with friendly staff and strong facilities. The rooms are spacious and practical with everything you need. The gym and pool area lift the experience. Easy location near the motorway and food options. β’ Large room with iron, hairdryer, and tea setup β’ Full gym plus pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room β’ Helpful staff and smooth check-inβ
βcouldnβt fault the hotel at all ! from friendly and professional staff throughout our stay to clean and comfortable rooms ! we will il be returning to stay again very soonβ
βI recently stayed at Premier Inn and had such a positive experience thanks to the amazing staff. Two team members in particular really stood out β Mia and Chris. Both were incredibly polite, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and comfortable. Their helpfulness made a real difference and left us feeling very well looked after. Big thanks to them for their kindness and professionalism!β
βI met a friend for a catch up and sat on the couches to the left of reception near the stairs to the gym. It was quiet enough for us to speak and even when a small group of adults sat on the couch behind us, we could speak without raising our voices. It was very comfortable and we were able to get coffee's from the onsite Starbucks and bring them over to our seating. Very friendly staff, suitable for our meeting and pleasant environment.β
βStayed at the bury premier in for 1 night. Good location and rooms clean and a very good nights sleep. I are evening meal and breakfast which was absolutely lovely and very high quality. Reception and evening staff polite and helpful and I enjoyed my little chat to the breakfast ladies who again were polite and helpful. Restaurant was clean and food fabulous x thanks for making my stay fantastic.β
βWe stayed here with out 4 children for a few nights due to work being done at our home. I can honestly say the staff that work here are absolutely incredible. They made our stay so easy & couldnβt do enough! From prepping a high chair at meal times before we even came down to making paper aeroplanes with our son & making them fly! The staff here genuinely make the place and I honestly can not thank them enough! The rooms were perfect very large (we had 2 family rooms) VERY clean.β
βSo I'm giving this review because of the landlord and his wife. My son had a meltdown on the main road. I had to sit on the floor with him to keep him safe (he's non verbal and autistic. This is also rare too). Anyway they xould hear him at the pub and the landlord and his wife was concerned. She came out and kept us company. She also took the edge off too. I know we didn't go in for drinks but if the landlord and his wife are like this it tells me how welcoming their pub is. Thank you so much β₯οΈβ
βI attended the Autumn Spa Day with my Mum today, which was a birthday gift. We had an absolutely lovely time, the facilities are wonderful, loved the various sauna/steam rooms etc available. The outdoor thermal pool was fabulous too. We also joined in with an aqua aerobics class which was on at the time and we really enjoyed it. To finish off we had a 50 minute treatment which was incredible, the girls were wonderful who did the treatments and made sure we were always happy & comfortable. The staff on the spa reception were also really helpful and happy to help us. Although the changing rooms were a little tired and in need on a facelift, it didnβt affect our visit whatsoever! We would definitely return!β
βWe have stayed at the hotel quite a number of times over the years and cannot praise it enough. From the moment of stepping through the doors and into the reception area, you are made to feel so welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable and the high end finish for a standard room was exceptional. We loved it! The food was excellent, too! As for the staff, well, ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Nothing is too much trouble. They are a credit to the hotel! Special mention needs to be given to Billy behind the bar for his help, patience and guidance with 'something technical' that left me able to use a new mobile phone purchased from the Tesco store next door! So, location wise the hotel is ideally situated and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants!β
βEasy to get to off the M6 but not too close. Nice big room, very clean. Breakfast was nice too. Its not easy to keep a hot buffet edible for long! Staff were friendly and helpful.β
βCan't fault the place, very quiet and peaceful and tidyβ
βCompare the streets with nothing to a warm bed heating and relaxation how is it not 5 starβ
