“Very friendly host. Super helpful. Instantly makes you feel home. The hostel has everything you need: nice common rooms to make you feel home, functional kitchen and comfortable dorms.”
“Our P7’s had a fantastic residential trip. The activities were amazing, the staff and facilities were incredible. Thanks again - we will most definitely be back!”
“The staff were super attentive and recommended me awesome beer. The steak ciabatta with pepper sauce was delicious, and it was a generous portion too. Cherry on top, they served my food freshly cooked super quick, and the steak was perfectly cooked to medium as requested. All in all, I totally recommend it,”
“It felt like a night at the best 'local'. The rooms were well designed and different in the best way. The staff were great, the food good. Breakfast was excellent. Live music on the night we stayed and the locals gave us great craic.”

“We stayed here with x3 other family's in the main building. Couldn't fault it, it had everything we needed for a group getaway. There is a brilliant covered area for bbqs if it rains although thankfully we were blessed with beautiful weather. We were made to feel very welcome by the lovely friendly staff. Would definitely stay again!!”
“Attended a wedding here and stayed over. Staff were very polite, quietly efficient and helpful. Food was very good and the rooms were clean, characterful and the bed was very comfortable. The atmosphere was one of calm relaxing and elegant definitely recommend a stay.”
“Had cod with smoky tomato butter beans and side dish of mixed veg. Really delicious and different. Lovely and efficient staff. Nice relaxed atmosphere and busy, especially as it was a Monday. Dogs can be brought into the bar. Recommend. Did not stay overnight.”
“Our shihtzu who is a nervous individual recently stayed at these kennels while we were in Lanzarote and they were first class in their care of him. I would recommend these kennels to everyone! First class service.”
“It’s a five star experience from the moment Gareth welcomes you into he and Emma’s home at Mourne Country House. The location is superb affording beautiful views and the perfect place to explore the trails of the Mourne Mountains. The accomodation is spotless, beautifully decorated with comfy lounging areas and importantly comfortable beds. Emma cooks the best breakfasts using local produce and catered for my gluten free needs. Baby Faith is a delight! This is the best B&B experience we have had anywhere. Don’t hesitate to book!”
“We stayed here for a night while hiking the Mourne Way and rested well in the clean and well appointed room. The host Helen was lovely and very helpful, and the location is closed by the Tollymore Forest Park”
“A truly amazing place. Everything that we needed was there. Spotlessly clean. Modern yet traditional farm cottage. Location perfect for our needs. Ann and Keith made us so welcome. Lovely people.”
“Amazing stay with stunning views all around. Martina and Brendan were the warmest hosts – full of helpful advice on directions and places to eat. The breakfast was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. We’d highly recommend this place and will definitely be back – even just to say hello to the lovely couple!”
“A wonderful old style B&B with personal touches! It was a very special experience with our host Kiera. From the moment we arrived we found her waiting to assist us in getting our things and give us a tour of the room. She then took our custom breakfast order for the next day. We woke up the next day to a beautiful view of the countryside and a homemade breakfast. It does not get any better than this. Plus the wonderful conversations! It was LOVELY!!”
“An amazing B&B, breakfast was wonderful, will definitely be back.”
“The beautiful, nice, bright and clean room. Lovely bathroom and functional shower. The tasty breakfast. Richard and Collete are a great housekeepers, lovely and friendly couple. Definitely I recommend.”
“Lovely b&b in a great location beach across road fantastic place to explore the beautiful scenery of Carlingford Lough. Host is lovely and makes a fantastic breakfast especially the scrambled eggs, spacious rooms and on site parking have been here twice the last two years and enjoyed both our visits loved our recent stay last week.”
“We stayed in jimmys cottage for 5 nights. Our two dogs were more than welcome which is mainly why we booked here. The view of the mountains is fantastic, we were able to walk into tollymore by going down the lane. Cottage is roomy and really clean. The milk and biscuits were a lovely gesture. Jacinta was always available to answer queries, much appreciated. We were able to close the gate and it was safe for the dogs to run around. Jimmys is detached and fully enclosed. We will miss the view and the tranquility and would definitely stay here again.”
“What a fantastic stay down there........we loved it, the dogs loved it...... perfect to get away from the city for the night......the self catering apartment was wonderful.....thank you Arlene and we will be back again xxx”
“Lovely apartments very clean and comfortable”
“My wife and I stayed here with our baby for 3.5 months over the summer. This apartment was a home away from home for us during this extended work trip. Olivia and Kenny are very gracious hosts and helped address our every need! The location is incredible, being only a short walk from the Mourne Mountains and a quick 10-minute drive to the Ocean! I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Norethern Ireland, whether it is a weekend adventure or an extended stay, the Binnian View Apartment will not disappoint!”
“Absolutely amazing accommodation! Can't wait to go back”
“The owners were so welcoming and accommodating. They took good care of us during our trip to Northern Ireland. They picked us up from the station and made sure we got to our excursions with ease. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The town was friendly and beautiful. I felt as if I was with family during the whole experience. They made sure we knew how to get around Northern Ireland and also took us to some Game of Thrones sites (once they heard how we were fans). They even dropped us off at Winterfell and picked us up after our tour. The location was ideal and steps away from local pubs, shopping, and grocery stores. Our trip to Northern Ireland was amazing thanks to the owners at Number Nine B&B.”
“Lovely B&B which is dog friendly. The rooms are lovely with quaint ornaments. All rooms have ensuites, kettle, robes and a very comfortable bed. For breakfast you have the option of cereal, fruit and yoghurt, toast and an option of a cooked breakfast. We enjoyed the 'full Irish breakfast'. Our dog was allowed in the dining room with us. Albert is your host and he'll entertain you with riddles and Irish humour! It takes you 2 minutes to drive into town. Or you can walk; by walking across the road and following the country pathway; which will take around 25 minutes. I'd recommend Ruby Ellen's cafe for lunch. They offer lovely food and cakes. It's also outside so our dog was welcome too.”
“What a beautiful place to spend a couple of nights! The owners are very pleasant and friendly The room was nice, clean and comfy Great breakfast! Just try to give them a call directly for the best rates”
“I couldn't be happier of the way my boy Jackson was treated by all the lovely girls and boys at Carneyhall Kennels. He absolutely loves all the staff there and i find him happy whenever i pick him up and he's not the easyest dog to handle. I have no problem recommending Carneyhall Kennels and give my respect and gratitude!”
“So friendly, warm & welcoming staff. The people that work there Paddy the staffy’s stay incredible every time. Never any issues, would recommend to anyone in the area!”
