“Lovely meal and catered for a large group last minute yesterday as we got cancelled on July another venue. Lovely staff, we even had our own area so the kids could enjoy too. I had king prawn starter, with sea bass to follow. My child had pasta, with corn on cob and peas, and my partner had fish and chips.”

“This is a lovely hotel to stay in. The location is great and is on a road with lots of shops and takeaway food options if you don't want to use on the on site restaurant. There is a large free car park to the rear of the property which felt safe to park in. The room was comfortable and had all the basic equipment. My only gripe was that there was nowhere to sit. I did find the room too warm for me but understand that this is personal preference and for others the temperature would probably be good. However there was a large fan provided so this helped by creating some airflow. The bed was very large and comfortable. It was two single mattresses pushed together to make a large bed. It was slightly uncomfortable over the join where the two mattresses met but I quickly got used to this and it did not affect my sleep. The bathroom was fantastic. The shower was a large walk in that was big enough to fit 2-3 people comfortably. It had two shower heads, a large fixed rainfall head and a movable traditional shower head. The temperature and pressure was great. There was also a separate bath which I did not use but was a good size and had a seat built into the side. Internet connectivity was excellent and was fast and reliable with speeds of 50+ mbps which was great to have. My only negative was the room I was in was next to the 24 hour access door and so this was noisy at times with people coming and going but this is only a small issue and would not affect others in different rooms. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would happily stay again if I was in the area again”

“A nice discovery outside St Neots. Nice restaurant with good food. A bit overpriced burgers from your usual pub burger but it is sensibly priced based on the location and the type of restaurant. Sitting outside is definitely recommended, it has great views of the golf course and the lake, it's quite tranquil.”

“Reasonable price food in a nice & clean place. Tried almost all from the menu, including the new ribs grill & rice. Delicious. Have to make sure they cook it well done if you don't like rare. I like rare, so didn't complain.”

“Went for Saturday morning breakfast as fancied a bit of a treat, and we were not disappointed. Breakfast choice was ample and can definitely recommend the sausages and hash browns! (YUM). Service was rapid and only reason for scoring the atmosphere 4/5 was that the music could have been more up beat than what we heard at the time we were there (but still good to have the background music). Highly recommend.”

“Me, my husband, our 4 young children and our pooch really enjoyed our lunch at this warming village pub. There was a lovely beer garden outback perfect for our dog, with a climbing frame and slide for the kids. We ordered 2 adult mains and dessert, and 3 childrens meals with icecream which cost us less than £25 (drinks an extra £16) the woman who served us was very polite and helpful. We would defenatly recommend and we will certainly be back the next time we're visiting the village.”

Then on the night superb service and food and very helpful staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and are delighted to have found Brooklyn Social as a venue!! Thank you team!”

“Popped in for some lunch only to find there was a craft fair going on inside! Couldn't resist doing a bit of xmas shopping whilst waiting for my food. Service was great, food was out quickly and really hit the spot. Will need to follow their socials more so I don't miss the next event they have on!”

“We went here last Sunday lunchtime, not been here for years, can't remember when, wanted somewhere out of the town to eat. Quick few minutes drive up Goldington Road in Bedford from the town centre. We sat in the rather nice conservatory area, nicely decorated with all different items & colours, works really well, we had a katsu curry chicken with rice & chips, & hunters chicken with chips & a salad, i asked for my BBQ sauce on the side as I don't like too much,& prefer to put my own on, we also had a side order of cheesy garlic bread which was lovely. There were a few pieces of leaves in the salad which had gone soft, which i would have picked out if I had been at home, & one end of my chicken breast was slightly over cooked, quite brown & hard, but it was very thick, so they had to make sure it was cooked, which i just put extra sauce on. They also do coffee & cake for £3.49,which looked really good value, coffee out the machine & a good sized slice of cake, which was chocolate last week, we didn't try any as we were too full up, next time we will though as we won't have any extras with our meal, & there will be a next time as we think we have found somewhere really nice & pleasant to eat, with prices as good as anywhere else, also we both had pineapple & lemonade to drink, & the land lady offered more pineapple if needed which is really good,as it can be so weak, when they really portion it out, overall was a really nice experience, & we would recommend it for people to try.”

“I took a group of clients from the residential home I work at. They have a range of various disabilities. The staff were extremely welcoming and showed a caring approach to our clients. “We eat here quite often because it fits our family budget. Tonight, Sunday 17th August, we met at 6pm and both food and service were extra special. The service from Eleanor was brilliant and it was a pleasure to watch her serving everyone very efficiently and with a cheerful smile. We didn’t get the chef’s name but thanked him personally as everyone’s food was really well prepared. Thank you.”

“This pub took us ages to find. We needed a child friendly pub that was showing the football. We must have called at least 20 and had no luck! Lady was very friendly on the phone. We walked in and was greeted with a smile. The staff were all lovely.the food was incredible very tasty and very good value for money. For a family of 6 we all had drinks a meal and a dessert and spent around £80 Lots to choose from on the menu. Chef was great. Atmosphere for the footy was great! Had a lovely afternoon. Thankyou.”

“Came in yesterday, didn’t have the best of days and felt down. Talking to a member of the bar staff Amy really helped this was the first time I’ve met her as I haven’t been able to leave the house for a couple of months, she was polite and even offered to take my drinks to my table. Food was also cooked very nice, all of my friends came here previously and recommended the new menu so I had to give it ago, I tried the big melt burger, best burger I’ve had in ages, defo will come again and try the new Christmas menu.”

“What an amazing experience we had here at Huck’s. The food was great with really generous portions. I like things plain so I had a lot of things taken off or changed. Our waiter, Rufus, was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a family argument on another table mid-way through dinner, which was great entertainment! They played good music here too. We’d love to return if we come back to Center Parcs”

We were looked after by Millie, who was great, the other servers were all super polite and helpful too. Our food was discounted with a voucher, but even at full price, it was good value. The deals on cocktails and beers were handy too! Overall a very nice meal.”
