“Love the relaxing feel of having a coffee and fresh fruit whilst going for a stroll outside”
“Best veggie food in Norwich. Very peaceful environment, so don't attempt to work there with your laptop or smartphone; it's not that sort of place. People read books and mags, some are on the shelf. Food is excellent. Highly recommended.”
“Beautiful clacton pier always holds avents for kids Halloween 6 weeks holidays etc… massive restaurant inside with endless fruit machine and games followed by more rides on pier outside which pushes far to the end of pier always nice to visit and walk along seafront towards Holland on sea”
“If you’re after real ale then for me this is the best boozer in town. Attleborough doesn’t offer much to be fair so choices are limited. To do like the feel of the Tavern, proper nice boozer”
“Tap takeover by Ossett brewery! Brilliant!! Great beer in a great pub.”
“Great food and service. Loving whats been done at Reds & just what Fakenham needed. Have used the takeway and restaurant, both have been fantastic. Hughky really recommend giving Red's a try if you haven't already!”
“Room was very good and plenty of space, very clean. Food perfect! Evening meal excellent as was service. Free parking and very convenient for the city”
“Ooo…lovely!! The Urban Lounge is super chill and the food is beautiful. I have wanted to make a trip here for some time and I wasn’t disappointed. The black pudding and beans have a nice and spicy dash of flavour which I’m a fan of. I’ll definitely have to try more of the menu. Clean fresh and a good people watching watching view of Magdalen Road”
“The food was excellent, old school menu with good home cooked meals and large portions. Friendly staff. Definitely would eat here again. Family friendly”
“Nice atmosphere, friendly manager Andy, came for a beer, stayed for his singing. As a chef myself I can comment that the fish and chips was a proper decent pub fish and chips!”
“Popped in to purchase some replacement brushes. I bought the originals some 6 years ago & was very pleased with them. I went downstairs to the kitchen wares department & asked if the brushes were still available. I was extremely impressed by the assistant who took me immediately to the brushes & then processed my payment. The service was fast, friendly and very professional.”
“Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, good carrot cake and great hot drinks. will defiantly be coming back soon ❤”
“I absolutely adore the team members at this cafe. They are incredibly friendly and provide excellent service, even though it can get quite busy. Although it’s not a large cafe, it’s still worth visiting if you’re in the city.”
“I enjoyed my stay here, room was clean and bed was comfortable, continental breakfast supplied in the room, bread, jam, orange juice and cereals. I feel the Internet photos don't do this place justice, it's better in real life, parking was a bonus. The pub itself is like a Tardus inside and the garden is a hugh Oasis, it took my breath away, would be great for parties and functions. Also, the drinks in here were cheaper then any other pub we visited in Norwich. A few minutes down the road is a sweet shop and fish and chip shop, further along is another pub on the river and the train station is walking distance. Walking into the town centre took us 15 minutes, but it was an interesting and lovely walk. Thanks for recommending the perfume to me and Beatle juice you looked amazing”
“Great pub right in the heart of the city. Good service, great choice of drinks.”
“We held my daughters baby shower Afternoon Tea at The Horse and Groom yesterday, and it was amazing. The afternoon tea was a sweet and savoury one and was all home made and delicious. It was also a really good price, probably the nicest I’ve had in a very long time. We had a semi private room space with use of the outside back courtyard which was absolutely lovely. The staff were so helpful and just couldn’t do enough, we were made to feel so welcome and will definitely be back for dinner very soon. Special thanks to Tina for providing such excellent service … nothing was too much trouble. The barman and Chef Manager were also excellent, they checked regularly we had everything we needed and even offered more afternoon tea items, and constant tea and cold drinks. Thank you so much.”
“Stayed for one night and really enjoyed our stay. Lovely room, comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was great, delicious food and lovely staff as well. Highly recommend, would stay again.”
“Lovely large shop buy everything you could ever want. Staff are the best, always happy and smiling and extremely helpful nothing is too much trouble. Instore cafe has a good selection to choose from and is usually busy. Well worth a visit to this store.”
“I had a great experience with Hyper for my daughter’s birthday party! The team were professional, supportive, and made everything run smoothly from start to finish. The soft play area was a real highlight— thoughtfully designed for children to explore and enjoy. Communication was clear throughout, and they genuinely cared about getting things right. Would definitely recommend to other families looking for a fun and friendly environment.”
“Another cafe is added to my fav list. I love matcha latte, and the price is affordable.”
“The Hill House Inn in Happisburgh is the kind of pub you dream of stumbling into on a windswept Norfolk day. Perched not far from the cliffs, it has that mix of cosy charm and a bit of history woven into the beams. Inside, it feels like the sort of place where smugglers probably once traded contraband rum under the table while pretending to just be “popping in for a pint”. The ale is well-kept, the food hearty, and the welcome as warm as the fire in winter. It’s one of those pubs where you immediately relax – the dog gets a biscuit, you get a pint, and suddenly you’re contemplating whether moving to Happisburgh full-time might be a good life choice. The menu covers all the pub classics you want when by the sea, and the portions are not stingy. Pair that with friendly staff and a bit of local banter, and you’re onto a winner. If you’re anywhere near the North Norfolk coast, stop in. The Hill House isn’t just a pub, it’s part of the story of Happisburgh – and once you’ve been, you’ll find yourself looking for excuses to “accidentally” pass by again.”
“Stayed at southwolds and went to Wroxham for the day and fell in love with the place ,took a boat trip, went for lunch by the river done some shopping, and Roys super market is brilliant, we are now looking for somewhere to stay in Wroxham in September.”
“Great night on Saturday. Such a lovely atmosphere and enjoyed the kareoke.”
“Wow ! Jamie & Annie went all out I’m so grateful & highly recommend. Enjoy the food & atmosphere by the river at Reedham, amazing. Thank you.”
“Great fish and chips, all fresh and prepared on the premises. We had to book a couple of days in advance, but well worth it. 1st fish and chips since Mr's Ts burnt down, and nearly as good.”
“Why have we never been here, ever????? -I have no idea!!!!! The atmosphere is modern contemporary - the drinks although a little on the expensive side are absolutely delicious - the tables are nicely spaced so you're not on top of your neighbours and the new owner is really nice and very knowledgeable - check out their microbrewery Can't wait return”
“It was very busy during our visit on 22nd December. The food was excellent as usual however Denise went above and beyond to ensure that we were looked after and ensured we got our meals quickly as we had a show to watch and didn’t appreciate how popular this restaurant was. Thank you Denise!”
“Amazing, authentic, Italian restaurant. I go there regularly with my little boy and the staff are so lovely to him and make us feel very welcomed. Prices are affordable, especially for such lovely freshly made food”
“Great size portions of food staff are friendly and polite. Food was hot and tasty”
“Had dinner at the Maltsers while we were moored up. A charming place with friendly staff. There is a separate pizza house next door that prepares fresh pizzas. The food was delicious, hot and well priced and we had a game of darts afterwards. Would highly recommend.”
