“Had lunch here today and I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. The guy behind the counter was very helpful in explaining the menu to us. The food is generous and actually quite tasty. We sat on the picnic benches outside as there is not much seating in the place itself but someone very helpfully brought our food out when it was ready. The flatbread was fresh with a great filling ratio and a very reasonable cost! Would happily recommend to my friends and order again.”
“Birthday meal with friends who were there for the first time and they definitely will be back. Great food and portion size, good range of beers and wine. For a Monday night I don't think there was a free table so glad we booked with it being for 8 of us. A real community asset.”
“With the weather in the minus outside, Tylers is the perfect place for a late breakfast. Not bad at all. Fresh bread? Followed by another coffee and a scone. Easy to park for 2 hours. Happy cafe.”
“Had a delicious meal here, very tasty food and decent size portions. Met on entry by the most pleasant lady who had a permanent smile. Reasonably priced the only minor criticism was they only served bottled beer. Will definitely return.”
“A fantastic little pub with a great atmospher and a great selection of beer. We stopped while on a walk and having walked past the two other pubs in the village we couldn't resist the woodlark. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon and the out door seating area was packed, booking a table to eat would be esential. We didn't eat but the menu looked good and we'll be back next week to give it a go.”
“A beautiful setting for an amazing Sunday lunch. Fantastic menu with great choice & reasonably priced. A lovely warm & welcoming atmosphere & great service from staff members. Thank you!”
“We came in about 10 minutes within opening and the staff were all lovely. It was getting quite full in there - that’s how you know it was good. We got seated and shared the Vietnamese spring rolls. They were some of the best, the flavour was amazing and they were piping hot. The vinegar sauce with it was so delicious. We then had a beef and garlic pho and the mango jellyfish salad. The beef was lovely and soft, the broth was flavourful. The jellyfish tasted unusual, and it wasn’t my favourite but my partner (who loves seafood) said it was amazing. The prices are also amazing, we got a starter, 2 meals and 2 drinks for roughly £30. I would definitely come here again.”
“Lovely food and drink stop on our walk from Breaston to Draycott”
“Great experience, our instructor Sam was very experienced and I felt safe at all times. So much fun, will definitely come back”
“A favourite micropub of mine close to the centre of Kimberley and easily reach via Trent Barton R1 bus. Outside seating front and rear plus a little log burning stove in a snug separate building rear of the pub. Great selection of real ales and other drinks with an amazing decor - a must visit pub.”
“Great pub. Excellent choice of Ales. The cobs are especially good. Staff are friendly, the atmosphere is also friendly. Nice little back garden. Excellent as a pit stop when using the train station.”
“Nice place for a walk and some fantastic spots to get a great view of the surrounding areas. Lots of different routes you can take, which keeps interesting if you visit multiple times. I can see Sharphill Woods in West Bridgford (my local woods) from the big open field that's located in the middle of the woods.”
“Fantastic service and product, I ordered this on a Wednesday and delivery was pulled in for the Friday while doing another delivery in the area. I used the decking to clad a small shed and I am well happy with the results.”
“Great place for a walk or to just sit and relax. Trent Bridge Cricket Stadium is just 5 mins walk from here”
“Really good park, with a great mix of equipment and flexible space to play.”
“I have come here several times and always enjoyed the food and the service all the staff go out their way to make sure you enjoy your food and experience. I definitely highly recommend it for all your tastes and not over priced either. They also do takeaway options aswell as on Justeat”
“Great place to walk dogs or walk in general with great views great for picnics”
“A great little walk, kept the dogs nice and cool under the trees in this heat. Managed to get most of the way round with a wheelchair as well until there was a fallen tree but bumped into someone on the way back who was going to move it so should be wheelchair friendly all the way round (but a little bumpy). The path is still a bit overgrown for a wheelchair but we managed it by lifting at points so it is possible now!”
“Great day out lots of animals to see. Santa experience was good and the elf's had some games to play and things to make which was good for the little ones. The bird area is very good never seen as many owls and big birds before in a smaller place like this. Definitely reccomend if your looking for a day out with the kids. Cafe was nice all the food we had was tasty and cooked great. Like the fact that they have the children's plates and cutlery to use as not a lot of places do this and I feel more should start.”
“It was very nice place for walking around with the kids we had a lot of fun there was plenty of parking places and it was free for 30 minutes. I will visit this place more often”
“Perfect Place to feed mixed grain bird food to the geese, swans, and ducks. A beautiful nature reserve where there's lots of trails to follow for miles if you want to explore.”
“had such a lovely time tonight! joanna was the loveliest waitress ever, so welcoming and comforting! the food was amazing (the mozzarella sticks are always devine!) and the drinks were tasty!”
“Fantastic family holiday resort. You can swim all day and go on the water rides, rapids and pool. Wave machine is fun but doesnt always happen on time, depends on lifeguards. Beautiful forest and walk ways to explore on foot or bike. Peaceful lakes ...some lodges back onto lakes and you can watch the wildlife from the sofa. The animals are very brave as used to humans and often the geese will knock on the patio doors wanting a snack! Accommodation is clean and well designed. They are warm in colder weather. Can have a log fire which is lovely, can buy logs from shop. The activities are plentiful but some are pricey. Not much choice of craft activities for over 9 year olds...Need to book in advance to get time slots you want. Staff on site are friendly and courteous, and are happy to help. Restaurant staff are very nice and do everything they can to make it a good experience. Some building work is still going on at Sherwood...so some areas cordoned off still. The xmas area is looking lovely though. There is something for everyone here....you certainly get a good physical workout if you want it. Only one moan ....Busy on change over days and got a bit crazy due to overcrowding on water rapids. Some younger life guards could be benefit from controlling numbers a bit more and the youngsters who behave dangerously....so that it is a good experience for all. Need to accompany younger children. Overall great holiday and would definitely come back.”
“Brilliant swimming pool and best thing of all, it's free! You can spend all day here, they have cabanas to hire, but not worth it. Just grab some seats and set up an area for you and the family. The lifeguards are friendly and helpful, they even moved a baby cot from one side of the pool for us. The new ride is amazing too!”
“Phat Buns was a great experience with juicy, flavorful burgers and a lively atmosphere. The loaded fries and shakes made it even better!”
“Ran an event with Spring Lakes in the summer and it was great! The marquee was lovely, and did come with a screen and projector. The only slight issue was we went on a day when we had the extreme heat, and the marquee was very hot - nothing some fans/ or an air con unit couldn't cure - and let's face it, we don't usually get those types of temperatures here in the UK. Food was great (I'd ordered jacket potatoes which are a solid all-round when catering for a large group). Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely setting for an event, I know a couple of people from the group did stay behind to take advantage of the water activities as well.”
“My friend and I went to Orissa for the first time this evening. We were greeted with friendly smiles and shown to our table. The staff were attentive and our food came out at a good time. The food itself… absolutely beautiful!! The flavour profiles in each dish were delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. The portions are really good sizes, we couldn’t finish our meals and bought the rest home with us. The price is good value and we’ll be definitely going back again. Thank you for a lovely evening.”
“One of my favourite places for a walk. I often visit here while at Holme Pierrepont County Park, or on my way back from Cotgrave Country Park via the old railway line that leads to Radcliffe On Trent. There's some incredible scenery all year round with a couple of routes through a nice wooded area that I always take. It also has a some open green spaces, a meadow, a pond with reed beds, a stream and a big lake with islands that's popular with bird watchers. It used to be a commercial gravel pit, but was transformed into a nature reserve in the 80s. It even has a route that is wheelchair friendly. Because it's close to Holme Pierrepont County Park you're never too far from a couple of cafes and toilets too”
“Everyone agrees the rapids are the best thing about Center Parcs. So much fun. And even better at night! Just wish they hadn’t removed the coloured ball style lights, and replaced them with bright white LED ones. The coloured lights really added to the atmosphere.”
“Our first visit to the Forge Mill was really interesting. A historic, grade II listed building. Great staff, good food with portions so big that my wife couldn't finish hers.”
