“Had a wonderful experience at Kurdistan Restaurant earlier 29th July , Portsmouth! The food was authentic and full of flavor—especially the kebabs and fresh naan. The portion sizes were generous, and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. A great spot for anyone who enjoys Middle Eastern cuisine. Will definitely visit again!”

“Myself and my girlfriend have seen the alchemist a few times when we have come to Gunwharf and tonight decided to give it a try, Safe to say we were not disappointed both of our drinks came out bubbling and smoking which only added to great atmosphere, I had the Katsu curry which was very tasty and would fully recommend for any coming here. Our night was topped off by the welcoming and overall immersive service given to us by our waiter Oren.”

“We go here regularly and get most of what we want for our simple day to day meals. It pays to buy frozen food in bulk , split it into portions for two, and keep it frozen, then use it up regularly. The prices are great with low affordable items, and the staff are always helpful.”

“Just popped down to the Red Lion on Cosham to have a pint and snack whist the family are at the cinema. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, food and drink. Would recommend it to anyone. Served by Amanda, Miles and Emma who were all very helpful and gave a service with a smile.”

Always the food is reasonable not expensive even it is better than other shops and the food and meat always fresh and awesome... “One of the best international supermarkets in Portsmouth which has products from all over the world. Have not tried the butchers here (which seems to have some negative reviews for hygiene), but the other dry products are pretty good and there’s a nice selection of biscuits, spices and other items.”

“Outstanding Brazilian BBQ with great meat, be prepared to leave very full. Very friendly staff, good food and a good view. Also great different meat options which was a big win for us as one of our party doesn't eat beef. Beautiful view over Port Solent too. Not the cheapest but you get your money's worth. I would recommend and would go back.”

“The peri peri chicken here is absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly grilled, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. I loved that they offered different spice levels – the hot was perfect with full of taste. The sides were just as good – the fries were crispy, which balanced the heat really well. The portions were generous for the price, and everything came out quickly. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a great vibe.”

“Nothing beats sitting in a pub on the edge of Portsmouth Harbour watching the ships go past so close that you can almost touch them. Add to that a varied menu to suit most tastes and you’re on to a winner. Food was excellent, service spot on, and on a warm sunny day you can make the most of the outside seating area.”

“Kathy was our server. We came before a few weeks ago but the fish and chips were changing if so she gave us free drinks. This time we had the fish and chipsLarge portion of fish in nice light batter. Loads of salad. Kathy was very attentive and hard working wiping down tables clean as soon as people had finished. This Harvester is very nice and clean . The music is not very nice and maybe could be just a bit quieter. Very friendly staff too”

The lovely sales assistant Rebecca was in the process of discounting items and busy, but helped me find the best one's there. Friendly and courteous, nothing was to much trouble. “Absolutely delicious!!! We tried the Sunday roasts (one turkey one sirloin beef) and they were both so so good. Meat was soft and tasty, as all the other ingredients. Quality was great for very reasonable prices, staff was lovely and we got our food so quickly. We also got garlic bread which was very good and fresh. I highly suggest the place, loved everything about it and definitely will go back!! Such nice atmosphere.”

“I highly recommend this Premier Inn, the rooms are clean with great facilities, it's central to everything and the staff are amazing, especially the manager Kelly. Sadly on the 3rd day of our stay the fire alarm was activated due to a fire in the Costa below, I cannot fault any of the staff they kept us updated and as soon as they knew we couldn't go back in they arranged alternative accomodation at the nearby Premier Inn's. Their care and dedication was 2nd to none and I'm extremely grateful for their care of my daughter and myself who both suffer from anxiety. They updated guests the next day and most of us were able to pack our own things to move over to the new accommodations. Excellent stay cut short through no fault of the hotel.”

I am dairy free and they swapped my cheese with vegan cheese, allowing me to enjoy the meat without the dairy. staff were very accommodating and friendly. will definitely be back”
