“A casual pub dinner far exceeded our expectations in terms of food quality and quantity - so many prawns in the linguine! The service was fabulous, thanks to Holly and Sophia. We had been told there was no Whitebait left so ordered a different starter but then two generous plates of whitebait arrived for us. We were of course very happy with this but were still offered a complimentary glass of wine each due to this slight miscommunication. A really lovely experience sat in the outdoor dining area on a balmy summers evening, with a gentle buzz of conversation around us, plus great food and service. Thanks Foundry Bell.”

“Thia pub is a quality bar with a good range of drinks, with darts and pool table. In addition on Fridays when there is enough people a quiz is done, Saturday night is karaoke and discount for students on set days. The landlord David has two little dogs that are characters, do not worry about the barking, they always run off. Staff are great and always willing to talk to you. Also there are events through the year which are fun. Thank you David and his team for the great atmosphere and vibe.”

“It is a warm and friendly hub for the local community to gather together for a drink and a chat. live music on occasional Friday or Saturdays is excellent. The decor in both bars is clean and refreshing and toilets are well kept up to standard The staff always welcome you with a smile as do Maureen and Roger the hosts. It is well worth a visit for a pint or two.”

“We all really enjoyed our meals, a very cheery server. Our food was bought quickly and was universally enjoyed. There were a few minor niggles, such as no coffee available due to faulty machine (these things happen) but not enough to spoil our enjoyment.”

“A fantastic place to stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming when we arrived. Had a quick drink whilst waiting for the room (we were early). Great selection of drinks on tap and in bottle. The room was clean and stocked with great facilities (coffee machine, TV, kettle etc etc). We went for a Sunday Roast that night. Although at 1st glance, it may seem expensive, for what you get it is very good value. Truly a huge meal with clearly high quality ingredients (how can you not love roast beef that are basically just 3 very good sized sirloin steaks). The continental breakfast was a lovely treat, showing up in a hamper. A perfect start to the day. There is lots of places nearby to see (we visited Henley-on-Thames and Hambledon Lock). Although the pub is not open Mon/Tues, the staff were more than happy to provide us with recommendations locally to eat. Very highly recommend and look forward to visiting in the future.”

“My first time visiting as have not long lived in Marlow. Was such a pleasure to visit. Great menu selection with all food options available. Staff were great, friendly, knowledgeable and service with a smile. We were looked after by Nic, nothing was too much trouble fantastic customer service and friendly. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to visiting again.”

“Really great experience.... Loved the food. I never knew I would like boiled baby potatoes like I did. Either I was very, very hungry or the food was just so very good! I am sure it is the latter as my wife confirmed her burger and sweet potato chips were the bomb too! Never knew we would find such a great meal in a place that was totally unknown to us until just a few weeks ago when we were invited to a birthday party in Marlow. Really highly recommend this pub/restaurant.”
