“A nice local pub. 5 of us ate here for Mother’s Day lunch. Fantastic value for money. Great service by Mark and his team. Thoroughly recommend this pub for a drink or food at very reasonable prices.”
“A very bubily atmosphere and Alina went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed even when there was a medical emergency going on. 100 stars if I could.”
“Absolutely great little Pub with very well equipped rooms. Food was great especially breakfast. Staff were excellent. Anyone thinking about a place to stay, whilst visiting Bombay Sapphire, should definitely put this place top of the list. Overton is a lovely friendly little village.”
“Proper quality pub food, the gentlemen Jacob was genuinely on point and was egar to help with any questions, this is the fort pub I've been to in a while that actually caters for their customers, providing genuine customer support and a top grade customer service I recently moved into tadley and now this.. will and forever be my local boozer for food, drink and of course sports on the telly. Thank you fox and hound ☺️”
“We just had our wedding at Barton’s mill and it was incredible. The staff were amazing and helpful and friendly, the food was delicious and they set up the tables with the decor we provided beautifully. Flo our co ordinator was so lovely and took away our stresses and Chanelle who looked after us in the morning kept us updated and on time with the order of the day. Absolutely worth every penny and a gorgeous venue to hold a wedding.”
“We had a lovely lunch here today. Fabulous service with a very polite waiter, Max. Gorgeous festive decor. Clean and everything presented well.”
“Very nice local pub, new land lady is amazing total vibe love the place, I will be back soon!!!!!!”
“I’ve been coming to The Bridge in Bracknell regularly and it never disappoints. The food is excellent, with generous portions and good quality ingredients. They also run daily food deals, which makes it really good value for money. It’s not just a place for a meal or a pint – it’s also a great spot to work from during the day. The broadband is fast and reliable, and the atmosphere is relaxed but friendly, so it works really well if you need a change of scene from home. Whether you’re after a good lunch, an evening bite with friends, or a quiet place to work with strong Wi-Fi, The Bridge is spot on. Highly recommended.”
“Alice was lovely. She was Attentive and provided excellent customer service from the moment we arrived. We had 2x full English breakfasts. Everything was perfectly cooked and what a quality Cumberland sausage!! I highly recommend for food service and ambiance.”

“The dough balls are deep fried! Strange at first but incredible after the first bite! Definitely recommend! Really nice staff, really welcoming!”
“We very much enjoyed our Sunday lunch at Ye Olde Leathern Bottel. The Sunday roasts were delicious and the service was excellent (a big thank you to Julia!). We look forward to visiting again soon.”
“Had a party here for my daughters 40 th. Room was just right for the occasion. A TV was used to show pictures all night.”

“Went Monday night for crib match. Doom Bar was an excellent pint/condition, as was Guinness. One alcohol free beer, bottled Heineken. Place was clean. Toilets clean/acceptable condition.”
“First time visiting this pub and considering its only a mile from my home I can't believe I've never been sooner. Service is very good and the staff extremely helpful and pleasant. The food is very good and good size portions. Can't wait for summer and see what the outside will be like.”
“Great place to go friendly helpfull staff great music and great larger and prices .”
“Such a warm welcome. From the outside it is deceiving but it turned out to be a lovely little pub on our doorstep. Little covered outdoor area at rear with heating and further grassy area too . Not a massive selection of beers but enough for my local . Great little find”
“A hidden gem! Even though it is classed as a casual dining pub, the quality of the food was impressive and the interior reminds of a high-end diner in London. Service was great and staff members were very helpful when it came to deciding what to eat. While we were waiting for our food we had the opportunity to have a walk around the restaurant which has a gallery of pictures depicting the village and the local landscapes. The duck leg ordered for a starter had a very good combination of flavors and herbs. The wine that was recommended to complement the steak was spot-on as well. After dinner we moved into the bar area where we could enjoy a live performance for some Friday night dancing and singing. Definitely would recommend visiting!”
“Really nice people, it's a pub, not a boutique pub, so it's not overpriced. You get friendly and professional service.”
“Me and my girlfriend decided we would try out the food in this fine establishment. We bought a drink at the bar then was taken to our seats to order food. It happened to be steak night and our waiter (Luke) was absolutely amazing, with good old British banter but also very professional. I always get a Rib/eye steak, but like recommended something else by like and I was not disappointed at all. My other half got fish and chips which was cooked to perfection, and oh my god the beef dripping chips are to die for! We will 100% be back, and give Luke a raise because he deserves one!!”
“This place is absolutely delightful. I head down every month, if not every fortnight, for the Sunday roast. From when we first sit down to when we get home, me and my family are always going on and on about how much we love the experience! The accoutrements are hefty, the portions are perfected and the food itself is the kind of roast you'd dream of. Meal customisation is a breeze and the staff are perfect - me and my family have 'our server', and she treats us perfectly every time, though the same can be said for all of the staff! I'll be coming here as long as it's open. ♡”
“Royal Oak exceeded all expectations-fantastic food, warm and attentive service, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Every detail was thoughtfully executed. A perfect spot for dining or drinks. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Truly a standout experience!”
“We have just had an excellent Sunday lunch at the Jekyll and Hyde. There is a good selection of roasts on the main menu and the roast beef with seasonal vegetables and Yorkshire pudding were all beautifully presented and expertly cooked. The staff were friendly and inviting and we had a really lovely visit. We will definitely recommend the Jekyll and Hyde to friends and family. Looking forward to returning soon and trying more of your expansive menu. Great value for money too!”
“After a week of early starts at work I decided to be crazy after finishing work on day 7 by visiting three Brewdog bars along with my wife. Starting at 11 am we took a 2 hours 45 minutes train ride with two changes to get to bar number one, then another 50 minutes on the train to bar number two. Again onto another train for 1 hour 20 minutes to Oxford. On arrival at the bar we was warming welcomed by the bar staff. We had a couple of tasters of the brews that were on offer, my wife had had the Vault City Orange Creamsicle a 4.8% modern sour beer and I had a pint ot Brewdog Clockwork Tangerine IPA at 4.5%. We sat in a booth and looked over the food menu not that we truly needed too as we have eaten from the BrewDog menu so many times. The bar manager came over and asked if we wanted to order food. My wife went for the Plant Powered Patriot served in a beetroot brioche not that my wife is a vegetarian but these plant based patties are the best she has ever tasted. These plant based patties are not dry like some well known branded vegan burgers. The plant powered patriot patty is just as juicy as the meat based patty. I had the Jackpot a meat patty served with black pudding, chorizo sausage with a blue cheese sauce. Both our Patties hit the spot and were cooked to perfection. A visit to Brewdog Oxford is highly recommended.”
“What a great pub. Jay and his staff work hard to make sure you have everything you need. Extremely helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Izzy with her bubbly personality, Martin in the kitchen and Harvey behind the bar. If you need a bit of fun try your luck at card bingo on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It gets everybody talking and cheering each other. Well done guys.”
“Another visit and delighted to see the venue has had a complete refit. Much lighter thought out and a more airy feel. Very welcoming. The tikka sea bass was gorgeous(I pinched a bit from my fellow diner) and my skewered chicken was very tasty accompanied but a very refreshing ginger ale and mint mocktail. All in all a lovely meal.”
