“A truly scrumptious place for a swim. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.”
“Last minute called and they kindly arranged ut for us. We did Dirty Money. Challenging (2 of us) but great fun and a good range of interactive puzzles. The host was friendly and we had a good time.”
“Fabulous field for dogs. Agility for those who are fit. Lovely summerhouse with coffee tea and hot chocolate for your use. Fridge with milk sink for washing hands and mud daddy to clean dogs. Debbie the owner really cares about the owners and their dogs. Everything is supplied by her free of charge including toys balls and various other things for the dogs. You can sit in summerhouse whilst your dogs can run free with total security. I've been to several dog parks and this is definitely at the top.”
“Large, secure field ideal for ball games and more active exercise. Agility equipment, tea & coffee hut, hose & bowls for water. Beautiful surroundings.”
“Both sites at this location are hard to fault. Secure, clean, Bounds and Bark is great for our sighthound who loves to run as there's so much space. Woodland Walk is great for our lab cross who likes to have a good sniff around! Both sites have good seating which means my husband, who has poor mobility, can enjoy watching our girls have fun off lead in a safe setting. Thank you Hounds and Bounds!”
“Excellent Quality Food and Outstanding Service I had a truly wonderful experience and can confidently say that both the food quality and service were exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who were polite, attentive, and genuinely eager to make the experience enjoyable. The food was outstanding—fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. Every dish was clearly made using high-quality ingredients, and the presentation was impressive. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the balance of flavours showed real care and skill in the cooking. You can tell that attention to detail is a priority here. What really stood out was the consistency. Everything arrived on time, hot, and exactly as described. Any special requests were handled professionally and without hesitation, which made the experience even better. The service deserves special praise. Staff were knowledgeable, patient, and always available without being intrusive. They checked in at the right moments and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. This level of customer care really sets the place apart. The overall atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal—whether dining in with family, friends, or visiting for a casual meal. Overall, this is a place that delivers on quality, service, and value. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a pleasant dining experience. I will definitely be returning and recommending it to others”
“Had an amazing time at Flip Out Basingstoke! Super clean, well-organised, and packed with fun for all ages. The trampolines, foam pits, and obstacle courses kept everyone entertained for hours. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a great vibe. Perfect for burning off energy and having a laugh can’t wait to come back!”
“Wow, what a great meal I had with my brother and his wife. The food is outstanding, it's not licensed, so you can take your own, (or buy it from the store next door) The service, again was great with good advice from the team, definitely worth a visit. The Wednesday night banquet is great value, but you've got to book early and because the portions are generous we had some food to take away as well. Perfect.”
“Had a lovely day on the river cruising up and down relaxing to the sound of the boat chugging along on the water with the birds quacking and tweeting away. Some pretty big houses and some lovely little boats spotted on the way along the locks. Can't fault the boat company and their service was fantastic. A lovely way to spend a few hours of relaxation.”
“The Koi suahi was so delicious . we don't get that kind of care and customer service anymore. I and my family recommended to try everyone especially who live around Camberley. You will definitely enjoy it. We will definitely returning for sushi this place.”
“Really amazing views. Absolutely magical place to go early in the morning. Views in the summer would be amazing. Just been in March early morning after heavy rain and was easy going. Yes lots of area is private but this place should be on anybody's to do list. I wish it was a bit closer to my home as perfect place to go to clear the mind.”
“Lovely place to take kid's, 2 car parks to choice from. Sand pit, large park, mini train, ice cream etc”
“This is a great place to visit in Caversham to relax and learn about the regions history Caversham Court Gardens is located in Caversham, UK directly north across the bridge from Reading on the north side of the River Thames. It is a delightful gem that seamlessly combines history, natural beauty, and tranquility. This riverside oasis offers a serene escape from the bustle of urban life, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll, a picnic, some quiet contemplation, or to learn some history about the area. The gardens are steeped in history, with their origins dating back to the 12th century. The site was once the location of a medieval manor, and remnants of the Tudor-era house still stand, adding an air of historical charm to the surroundings. It is a picturesque setting that provides breathtaking views of the river and the lush greenery on its banks. The well-maintained lawns and flowerbeds are a testament to the care put into preserving this natural haven. Visitors will also appreciate the diverse plantings, including colorful flowers and mature trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The peacefulness of the gardens is enhanced by the soothing sound of the river flowing gently by. There is a small building that serves as a tea shop and is manned by volunteers. With its historical significance, riverside location, and well-tended grounds, Caversham Court Gardens offers a delightful escape for those seeking a peaceful connection with nature and a taste of local history. It's a place where the past and present harmoniously converge in a setting that invites reflection and relaxation.”
“Great little dog walk area, nice view points, not a large route and it's very flat and easy to walk, few ducks and swans in the lake which is lovely,on a sunny day it looked gorgeous. Very well sheltered in the trees too so not too hot despite good weather. Carpark isn't huge but I found there was still plenty of space despite it being prime walking time.”
“Such nice meadows with lots of places to sit and walk your dog. It was very clean. It was also nice to see people fishing, canal boats going by and children kayaking.”
“Absolutely amazing place and people! Every single staff member is so lovely and kind they always have the customer in mind. My other half has collected a couple of takeaways before hand but today I saw the restaurant they have - it’s beautiful! The food is second to none. I genuinely have never tasted Indian food like it in the UK! Will be a regular customer from now on.”
“Hidden gem of a nature reserve. Easily accessible and safe to walk around. Perfect fir some gentle exercise”
“Lots of avian wildlife along this stretch of The Thames. There are plenty of benches to sit on and watch the world go by, as well as extensive lawn areas on which to sunbathe or have picnics in the summer. There's a children's paddling pool and playground. Tennis courts. Public conveniences. Some lovely trees, especially a line of Lombardy poplars, which can be seen on the edge of the eastern boundary. The pedestrian bridge is a worthy addition to the Meadows. There's a nice area right by the end of Wolsey Road where you can sit on benches and watch the boats. There are a lot of bird families on that stretch of the river. They enjoy the floating bird seed, which can be conveniently bought at Homecrafts, the brilliant hardware store in Prospect Street. Christchurch Meadows is a charming, tranquil area to spend time in. The birdlife is wonderful. When I was seriously ill in the hospital, I daydreamed of being here. It's an idyll, a piece of paradise, and I love it.”
“Lovely little kiddies park with water splash area and seating and shade for parents/carers, small cafe with drinks, snacks and ice creams and free parking We will be regulars with our grand daughter!”
“This is a gorgeous spot. It seems to be miles of streams, trees, and trails.Greay place to walk your dog and there is a dog friendly cafe.”
“I went there for brunch with my partner on Friday 24th October. The food was great and the staff were lovely. Great experience will definitely go again.”
“We had a really enjoyable walk around the walls of the old Roman town of Silchester. The walk is probably about 2.5km long and will take you about an hour to complete. The walls are fairly complete at the southern end where they reach around 20ft high but in other places are much lower. The site has a good number of information boards explaining the history. There is no entry fee and the car park is free (but I did see a notice from the council proposing to charge £1.20 for 2 hours)”
“Langley Mead at Sheinfeld is a real hidden gem and one of my favourite places to unwind. The open fields, wildflower meadows, and surrounding countryside create the perfect setting for a peaceful walk or just sitting quietly with a good book, soaking in the views. It’s a haven for wildlife lovers—especially those who enjoy birdwatching. I’ve spotted so many different species here using my bird ID app, which has made each visit even more enjoyable. It’s also a very popular spot for dog walkers. I don’t have a dog myself, but it’s always lovely to see them having such a great time, exploring all the scents and making new friends. Langley Mead offers that perfect mix of calm, natural beauty and quiet companionship with nature. Highly recommended for anyone needing a bit of fresh air and tranquility.”
