“Absolute top class customer service from Ellie (Store Manager) at JD Sports (Barnsley) today when I visited the store twice, once without my original receipt and then with it. Ellie had already processed the initial inspection slip after my first visit and then had to update it following my return visit with my original receipt. I appreciated the patience and understanding demonstrated by Eliie, particularly as she'd just finished dealing with an abrasive / rude customer immediately prior to dealing with me. I don't know their names but a lovely young lady with dark hair searched for a top, located it in Barnsley and wrote all of the details for me and a lovely lady with blonde hair searched for a red t shirt for me just as they were about to close... lovely service and a very nice shop!!!”

“I hardly ever leave reviews but I just wanted to say thank you for the brilliant experience in store yesterday evening. I had been looking for an outfit for a wedding for hours and having a rather miserable time doing so when I came into store. I saw a dress, went to try it on and my first observation was how gorgeous the changing rooms were- it makes such a difference to walk in and have someone welcoming at the entrance, and then for the space to feel clean, tidy and just look the part. I tried the dress on and wasn’t too sure so I went to ask if I could try it in another size, the lady on the changing rooms was really helpful, even though she was super busy and went to get me the other size. I decided to get the dress, then looked for some shoes and again was helped out by a lady at the till, who was again, super friendly and helpful even though she was manning the till and checking sizes for another customer. I didn’t feel rushed or like I was a nuisance even though the store was nearly closing. This was around 8:30-8:45pm and the date was sept 4th in case management reads this and wants to reward the girls. Thank you so much ! Off to a wedding feeling all confident.”

Straight away they sent out 2 more before the others were received back and did not charge me for the postage. I have received them today and they are beautiful . “Can always grab a bargain on the jeans here. However a lot of the other items don't seem to have outlet prices. The changing rooms are spacious and really bright. Never a queue at the till here - always seems to be relatively empty.”

“Visited this store today. Found 2 matching tops just in different colours with some sizing difference between them. As it was the only one in that colour and I loved how it looked i still wanted it despite the sizing issue. Abbie at the downstairs checkout said that since I wanted it but had no time to order a new one in to store that was the coreect length due to leaving for our wedding abroad, she would grant me a discount of 20%. This was amazing as it meant I managed to grab 2 holiday tops that I liked despite a slight sizing issue, I just wasnt willing to pay full price for a faulty product despite it looking good. Thank you so much for helping me today keeping my shopping simple.”
