“A fantastic place to eat and excellent customer service. The food was great and plentiful. One of our party has a food allergy and the owner was exceptionally dilligent about making sure no allergens were present in our meal, even suggesting an alternative to one of the dishes in the set meal that would have otherwise contained peanuts. We came at a time that was not busy, hence the four stars on atmosphere.”

“first time visit, five of us arrived 1pm on wednesday, the pub almost empty. the menu is comprehensive and sone special offer two meals for £16 and £12. good setvices and the meals we ordered were delicious. the baguette was fresh and soft. meals were in generous portion. they will change ownership in two weeks. hope the new owner keep up the good standards.”

“Ordered a takeaway last Sunday and was very impressed with the food. Food all tasted homemade and authentic. Price was fair, cost £21 for a meal that could feed 4 adults. Delivery driver was friendly and arrived before expected. Will definitely be using this again :-)”

“Visited twice in my 4-day trip to Lincoln, and always looked popular. (Note: it is larger than it looks and there is a room at the back.) Just a short distance from Lincoln cathedral and castle. Authentic Thai dishes, that do not disappoint. On my first visit, I had the mixed starter (see photo), which the menu states is for a minimum of two people, but they also do it for one (consists of one each of fish cake, satay chicken, wrapped king prawn, chicken and prawn toast, and vegetable spring roll). On my second visit, I started with minced Prawn cakes. On both my main was a Chicken Green Curry, which had a spicy aftertaste that lingered nicely on the palate. Looking around all the dishes on other tables looked great. Unfortunately, the desserts were limited, mostly to ice cream and fritters. Would have loved a cheesecake. Suitable for singles (there were 5 singles on one of my visits), for couples, and for larger parties. With beer or large wine the prices were £33 / £36 (May 2025).”

“We went, with another couple, for Sunday lunch yesterday. Very nice pub and atmosphere. The food was excellent. The roast meats were lovely and tender. Loads of veg, yorkshires and plenty of it. We had one person who could not eat such a large meal so perhaps they could have smaller portions on the menu as an option.. The young lady who served us was very nice. We would definitely recommend this village pub.”

“Absolutely love this place. They do the best kebabs and bread I've ever tasted. Lovely friendly staff when you call the guy is always personable and friendly. Wouldn't order a kebab from anywhere else now. Fast delivery, great service, good portions. Couldn't ask for anything else. And sadly they know its me when I call! :)”

“Great value for money - fresh tasty food at very reasonable prices. If I order by phone & collect my order, its usually ready within 10 minutes. If I order for delivery it's roughly about half an hour & delivery costs are very very cheap. Food always hit & fresh. Worth mentioning it's CASH ONLY for delivery & collections. Staff are friendly and helpful and it's great to see a menu with 50/50 dish options. I personally like the chicken and mushroom with egg fried rice £6.50. Half & half in a large container & plenty for 1 person. They offer several 50/50 options at approx £6:50 each as well as set menus. I love their pancake rolls and my favourite dish is house special chow mein which I order on a weekly basis lol. Every dish I've tried has been lovely and I am now a regular customer. Definitely recommend this place”

“We visited Spice and Ice last night and were blown away by the quality of the food. We were also really dismayed that we were the only people in. So firstly, the restaurant itself is still super glamourous and very comfortable. But the food is the real star now. Firstly, they have included very interesting dishes on the menu such as Gobi Manchurian and Aloo Papri Chaat alongside curry house favourites. They managed to get everything right. Our favourite dish was a smoky aubergine dish called Baingan Bharta. The waiter explained how they burtnt the aubergine skin to get the flavour. We got the impression that all the food was made from scratch with this type of care. Another star dish was the Samosas, they are the Punjabi style made with thick pastry, slightly spicy and very filling. Also, the wine was a reasonable price and great quality. So the only criticism we could come up with was “no craft beer”, but that’s pretty much the same for all restaurants in Doncaster. Finally, the staff were excellent. They were knowledgeable, polite and professional. Photo of the bill included but we all thought it was excellent value for what we had. They are obviously skilled in the trade and cared about customers. We told them they need an Open Now banner out front because we thought the place had closed down. Anyway, if you are in the area, please give them a go.”

“First time trying the food from Tons of recommendations. It's fantastic. I've tried 10 or 11 Chinese in Sheffield and this is by far the best so far. The portions are gigantic. The ribs were huge and fell off the bone. The meal for one was amazing, huge rice , chicken with black pepper sauce and Chicken balls . Far too much for one person. The house chow mein had 4 different meats and veg in and it was huge too. Fed 3 of us with some left . Really good and can't wait to try more. They have alot of Thai food too”

“If I could give it 10 stars I would. We eat a lot of ramen, noodles and oriental food. This is by far the best I've had in Sheffield. The big noodle soup is gigantic. I had the 3 Roasties soup. 12 huge chunks of meat . The stir fry noodles were amazing too. The satay chicken starter are very large skewers Can't wait to go back”

“This is without any doubt, the best Chinese restaurant in Yorkshire. With a car park included, a dress code is in place, a shirt is required for gents and no shorts. Food is excellent, on top of quality and the facilities are amazing and plenty of space, don't need to be sat in less than half a meter from the other table. Service is absolutely outstanding as well , very focused and pending for any request, it is a very pleasant experience every time I come with the family. Price is according to the quality, don't expect fast food pricing for this standard and this service.”

“Booked for a Sunday morning breakfast. Service finished at 10.30am which I hadn't seen on the website anywhere. We were late due to a road closure but they kindly still accommodated us and just asked if we could order quickly. The food was excellent although my father-in-law was rather overwhelmed with the amount of food in his Piggy Hash ( a lot) . He still managed to eat most of it though. Our first visit but will definitely be back to try a lunch sometime soon. Outside looks great too.”

“Came for lunch. They have a buy 3 get 1 free offer on their dim sum at the moment. We got 8 dishes and in total (for 2 people) it only came to just over £40 including service charge which I think is excellent value. Service is great, we were served quickly, staff were attentive and polite. Food is delicious and cooked fresh - it was very hot when it came. We will definitely be coming back”
