“What an absolute gem of a pub! Myself and mum stopped on our way to a hen do just up the road. Service wonderful, staff friendly and easy to chat too. Food was amazing and excellent value for money all round! We shall be back this weekend!”

“Tried Montego Bay for the first time today, a great experience from start to finish. We arrived ten minutes early (the shop was closed) but we were still welcomed inside and given a menu and served drinks. The pineapple punch at this place is something special. The food arrived piping hot and smelling amazing, Had the Oxtail and the Mutton, the Oxtail was fall off the bone tender, super well seasoned and had a nice little kick to it. The mutton was also very tender and well seasoned. We also tried some of their fried chicken that was really good, crispy, well seasoned and juicy on the inside. 10/10 food, 10/10 service. We will be visiting this place again for sure.”

“Stopping just outside Lincoln and did a search for a climbing wall for a couple of hours fun. Great atmosphere felt very friendly. You can hire equipment if you do not have yours with you, prices are very reasonable. If you have not climbed there before I would recommend filling out the registration forms online before going, just makes the paperwork quicker when you get there.”

“We had a meal here on a Tuesday evening in December while visiting Chatsworth House. The Woodyard had a great atmosphere with lots of tables busy. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious and the cocktails lovely. We both had the turkey and ham hock pie. The portions are generous. Highly recommend ‘The Woodyard’”

“So I booked in for the wife's birthday, table for 10 people, The place was buzzing inside and outside. Absolutely packed. The atmosphere was brilliant. The service was fantastic and the food is next level. Absolutely delicious the Ribeye was cooked to perfection. The wait on the mains was an hour but the place was so busy, and we were happy chatting and drinking to notice. The price was cheaper than expected we had meals Puddings and drinks and it was worth every penny. We will definitely be back.”

“Great little pub that sells an amazing ploughman's. Food was plentiful so much so I couldn't finish it. Staff were really friendly and spoilt our springer spaniel rotten which he loved. Pub itself was warm and cosy and plenty of parking. Prices were reasonable and we didn't feel rushed at all.”

“Always some interesting temporary exhibitions as well as long term collections. I have been to Feel Good Art Club here which is a lovely relaxed evening. Good spot to spend a bit of time with visiting friends or family.”

Good choice of drinks, a touch pricey but it was a perfect pint of Estrella. Definitely worth stopping by to visit. I imagine it gets very popular in summer. Food menu was available but we didn't stop to eat.”

“The VIP experience here was absolutely fantastic, holding reptiles, small mammals, baby goats, feeding lambs, picking eggs from the chicken coops. My 3 year-old absolutely loved it and Lauren the animal keeper who took us on the tour was super friendly. Fantastic value - we will be back! Topped off with a delicious ice-cream!”

“The country park is beautiful. Sadly the cafe is unbelievably banal and lacking in healthy & tasty food, plus closes early whilst the park is still active which is a massive missed opportunity, but maybe one day we can have both! All the nature on and around the water is really wonderful.”

“Quality pizza. I had the ortolona which is already vegetarian with eggplants as the main topping. Though I think fungi is a better option since its mushrooms were more spread out across the pizza, and the sauces better complimented mushroom. Sat downstairs around the bar. Didn't feel like any drinks but the same waiters kept coming back to ask about it. Had such a great time i forgot to take photos much.”

“Made my first visit to this pub in February 2024 after hearing so much about it for many years. One of the main recommendations was based on the choice of beers but, being coeliac, I wasn't sure if it would be suitable. However, I was very pleased when I was offered a list of gluten free beers to choose from - albeit in bottles and not on draught (but maybe one day?). As they had a number of Wold Top beers, I decided to try the Marmalade Porter, which was nice and refreshing even on a damp and overcast day. Didn't have any food while we were there but having heard about the gluten free options since, I would like to try it on another visit. It's a lovely old-fashioned pub with friendly staff and a place that was worthy of its recommendation so I would like to pass on the recommendation.”

“The food here is so fresh and tasty. Really nice food. We went pretty late on so just another group with us. We couldn't really get the real ambience of the restaurant. With it being a quaint size then I can imagine the atmosphere being nice and romantic with wonderful Greek music playing in the background. The prices are very reasonable and the portions generous in my opinion. The owners are very friendly. The husband is very kind and approachable. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you enjoy trading Greek food and run by Grecians. I don't think you will be disappointed if you visit for a lovely romantic evening meal.”

“We just visited for a hot drink and piece of cake on a cold afternoon in Donny. I had a tea with oat milk and a vegan & gluten free chocolate brownie. My partner had an oat cappuccino with a chocolate praline cake. With both enjoyed them a lot. Lovely friendly staff, great food and beautiful venue. Highly recommended.”
