“OMG ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! They may have thought I was joking when I said "Give me loads of chilli sauce on my kebab, I like my food to bite me back, definitely not white girl spicy, I like phals." The look I got when I asked for more chilli sauce, and he replied 'don't blame me' spoke volumes. However, I loved every bite! The meat was perfectly cooked, the naan, spot on. Still nice and hot even after I hiked down the locks to my boat. The guys loved their pizzas too, but being 14 inchers, they left half each for tomorrow, (lightweights haha). Only passing through the village on my travels, but I'll be back and definitely order again. Best kebab ever! Kicked my home town favourite, never before beaten into second place!”

“We popped in Thursday 18th of September 2025 , for something to eat with my wife and daughter, because we haven't been to Shrewsbury for years, my daughter had a 4 day break in the city. It's a quaint little cafe , service with a smile and friendly. Reasonable prices good atmosphere it was about 3 o'clock ish and still busy , but got seating okay. Food was lovely and it was prompt . So all in all well worth a recommendation to come again when we next return from Liverpool. Thanks again all staff and cooks from the Taylor trio liverpool.”

Well recommend everyone in Stoke on trent to go and try it out full English breakfast £6.00 fantastic sue and other lady are great you go in as a customer and come out as a friend sue knows how to have the banter with everyone. “Popped in here for a random pint of Guinness bit worried it might be cliquey but met with very friendly staff and people enjoying themselves and good banter the the pint of Guinness is top quality I don't know what the food is like but if it's like the Guinness it's going to be tasty and fresh .”

“Tried Lee's today. Was sceptical because I'd never been to this Chinese. The food was delicious from here. Best chicken balls ever and the curry fantastic. Spring roll was to die for. Definitely going back to Lee's.”

Fish was fresh, batter was crisp and perfect and the portion was massive! Last time I had Scotch egg starter - the best I have ever tasted. Will keep this pub on my list for sure!”

“Just been here for a meal with the wife. We always try to eat at a new place every week. We both had the vegetarian wellington. Genuinely one of the best meals I have ever had. Food was full of flavour, hats off to the chiefs. The place is very quiet with very nice decor and I already can’t wait to go back.”

“This delightful hotel set in stunning countryside provide lovely comfortable rooms. The whole atmosphere of the place is peaceful and "countryfied" well suited to its rural setting. The restaurant has a goiod choice of food and both our choices were delicious and good value for money. Great real ale too served in the cosy bar area. First class.”

“Tried Caprinos for the first time ever and i was blown away by the quality of the pizza. So many option to choose from i felt a bit spoiled . The pizza was amazing great crust, steaming hot on arrival , by far one of the best pizza's i have had in a long time. The sides were also amazing. I have definitely found my new fav pizza place. 100% recommend.”

“I will be honest, the last time I went to PDP it was horrendous. There was no atmosphere, they got our meals wrong and it was just genuinely bad. Fast forward to yesterday and it was INCREDIBLE. Back to its normal self. The food was immense, they were so hospitable for the kids. Well done everyone. You made a very poor experience previously, become an excellent experience now. I’d highly recommend here. Such a beautiful restaurant.”

“I was there with my family. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. This was my first visit but it will not be the last. The food was really good. The soup came with two different meat, chicken and shrimp but I believe the base of the soup was the same. I enjoyed the soup but chicken was a bit dry. I ordered noodles and two orders coconut rice one egg fried rice both very tasty. The main course ordered , duck, 2 prawns and one chicken dishes but I later realised mum’s dish was chicken as well as mine but suppose to be a prawn dish. I asked, the staff to change mum’s dish. I wasn’t happy with my chicken dish but I had it, duck and prawn dishes were very tasty. We didn’t have any desserts but beer was pretty good be honest. We were full and loved the taste. Thank you Art of Siam I’ll be back !!!”

“Extremely dog-friendly pub with extremely friendly staff and locals. Our pooch was offered a huge water bowl, many biscuity treats and tons of fuss. It makes a difference when you enter a pub and dogs are allowed in every area with no restrictions. The bonus was that the food was top notch! Due to it being December when we visited, you did have to pre-order prior to arrival as to whether you wanted to order from their Christmas menu or their usual menu. A fairly full pub meant that we did have to wait 30 minutes for our starters but 15% was deducted from the final bill because of this and the cosy surroundings meant that we were comfortable waiting.”
