The team were incredibly helpful with our booking, not just pointing us to a number or system, but actually taking the time to help and find a solution that worked for our family. The hotel itself is beautiful, the spa is fantastic (exactly what we needed!), and breakfast was absolutely fab- great quality, plenty of choice and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a very family-friendly hotel where you genuinely feel looked after from start to finish. We’ve stayed before and will happily return again. “Went for Sunday lunch. Daughter booked as it was her birthday. Excellent choice of meats. My grandson as lots of allergies they did his food separate and was served straight from the kitchen so no food could be cross contaminated. We all enjoyed our meals.”

“I had the carvery for the first time yesterday. Can honestly say it was lovely, the meat was all cooked beautifully and so were the trimmings. Not small portions either. The young lady who served us on the bar, Sammie was so friendly and polite she's hands down a credit to the place and the chefs serving food were very polite aswell. The whole building is lovely and clean. I personally love the displays of all the stokie pottery.. being a stokie myself it makes me super proud to see it out on display with pride. Nice sized beer/smoking garden and a small play area indoors for children. Not too pricey and quality of the food is fantastic. They sell stunning cakes aswell which are to die for. Definitely worth trying if you haven't already you won't be disappointed. Can't recommend here enough.”

“We arrived at 3:15 and were surprised how full the car park was but after parking and entering the restaurant found it was almost empty. The pub allows 20 minutes free parking and our arrival coincided with the school end time. As the pub was quiet we were told to take any table and we could order on the app, this proved difficult as some drinks are not shown on the app, so we ordered at the bar. The food came quit quickly and was excellent, the lady behind the bar who also served was very helpful and pleasant. Well done, we will come again when ‘up north’ from Sussex”

“Tremendous! They take pride in their fresh preparation and it showed. Had the falafel wrap and the chicken wrap, both salad and sauce. Lots of subtle flavour. I also got an extra bread. The bread was perfectly doughy but not stodgy. You can always tell a good place by the effort they put into their chilli sauce. No mistake here, fresh and diced, like a salsa. I would go again but it's a long road from Glasgow.”
