“Me and my daughters visited this wildlife park and it was a wonderful visit. The animals all look well cared for with plenty of space to move. The accessibility for wheelchair users was fantastic. Platforms made it easy to view animals and the walk around areas were not too small. Information about each animal was clear and easy to understand for younger children. There was an option to feed wallabies or deer, we opted for wallabies and were amazed when a joey popped its head out of its mom's pouch. Although my daughters are adults, the play area was fantastic, we would have definitely spent a fair while there when they were younger. Definitely a place to visit. If there were any recommendations for the park, it would be to have some Makaton signs by the enclosures.”

“Helped immensely today with a stray cat we took in, we contacted them to advise we had a stray cat and asked for their advice. They advised to head along so it could be scanned for a microchip, we went down, the cat was scanned and the owner was contacted. The cat was 17 years old, deaf and had been missing for a week. The cat was reunited with its owner shortly thereafter. Thankyou for assisting.”

“First shopping experience in Leek and therefore in Wilko. Large store, although not the biggest branch that I have been in. Went for an elusive item that I was unable to get anywhere else and they sold it(!!!) so I was very happy. Spent a good amount of time in here and inevitably bought lots of other things. Relaxing shopping experience, very calm atmosphere during our visit & friendly till staff. LOTS of other shopping experiences in Leek, was very impressed and had a very enjoyable trip!!”

“29th of June /2nd July 2024, we stayed there for 3 nights, at Lavander retreat, and we enjoyed every minute of it . The hot tub was amazing ,we used it even when it was raining ,chilly outside nice warm water in the tub . Decent size of bed ,shower room ,all you need to enjoy the stay . Nobody disturbed us during our stay , we had music on giggles and laughter . One thing ..... the steps were slippery when wet and really dangerous. Thank you ,Hen Cloud Cottage x”

“Excellent service. We have been using Wagtails for a couple of years and have no complaints. Since my mother-in-law became less mobile she has used the Wagtails service on a daily basis. The same person usually walks the dog but is able to get cover for holiday times etc. The dog gets lots of variety on the walks and often socialises with other dogs: he is always tired when he returns! Our 'walker' has built up a super relationship with mum and is very kind to her: mum looks forward to seeing her every day.”

She did really well and looked lovely (as well as getting some free treats) She has since been back for a full cut and again had a wonderful experience! The owners have always been friendly, professional and put our puppy first! She has had a really positive first experience of the groomers and that’s all thanks to the loft!”

“WOW! Our old dog had a bad time at his first grooming session as a pup and so for the following years we have had to cut ourselves. When I booked I didn't hold much hope of a successful cut because he as a normally gentle dog can be reactive with the clipper noise. But Paws for Thought did an amazing job with him. He looks great and my partner was thrilled. Worth every penny. We will be back!”

“Stayed here with 6 of my friends for my Queen Scout Award as we was doing long hikes each day. It was so nice to come back to a clean cozy barn. The views were great the barn got nice and warm with the heater and Wifi so I could uploads my pictures. Alison was lovely too had lots of information and was nice to chat too. Great place to stay if you love the outdoors.”

“Excellent care for my 18 year old cat (Scratch) over the years. Throughout they have been realistic and appropriate in their testing and treating, only completing what will improve her quality of life. It was clear throughout they don’t complete unnecessary testing minimising stress to her and ensuring the bill is reasonable and not extortionate. Recently when the time was right they came to our house, ensuring she was comfortable and calm right to the end, which I cannot thank you enough for. It has been obvious throughout that they really care about your animals feeling personal and not business like, putting you instantly at ease. Thank you”
