“We recently visited while staying over at Alton Towers and didnt want to eat the mass produced food so went here as its quite local and had decent reviews. We were not disappointed with our choice either, what a fabulous little place! The pub part was busy, but service was quick and there was a nice range of local craft ales. The Thai food was fabulous, one of the best red curries I've had for a long time and the family were all pleased with their choices too. Definitely would recommended if your staying in the area, it's well worth a visit.”

“I just want to say a big thank you to Margaret the owner of Peakstones inn everything was great. The beds were so comfortable to sleep. I had the most amazing sleep in my kids wake up in the morning. First thing they said it was this beds are amazing hah the service was 100%. Food was amazing The stuff was great. “Morgan is absolutely fantastic and we’re so grateful to have found her. We’ve just returned from 10 days away and it’s the first time we’ve left our 3 year old Cocker and I can’t thank Morgan enough. She dog and house sat for us, sent us regular updates and treated Buddy like he was her own. She is so friendly and kind and Buddy had built a lovely relationship with Morgan prior to the dog sitting by going on weekly walk, which he loves so much ”

“just took the dog in for his first ever haircut aged 3 and they couldn't have been better with him, he was very nervous and scared but they were patient and did an amazing job. he looks fantastic and will deal so much better with the summer heat now! the price was really reasonable and both ladies were fantastic at their job both in skill and demeanour. thank you!!!”

“They are good priced, always friendly and my dogs love going there to get fusses. I have a dog that doesnt like getting their nails clipped but they still do it and handle it very profesinally. My other dog didnt like it at first but not he is very relaxed when we go there.”

“Sue took great care of my Persian rescue cat - he was matted and recovering from major surgery but needed a groom to stop him from over grooming himself. He is a very shy cat but Sue managed to groom him despite his protests, I think her experience as a vet nurse helped her. She took her time and he wasn't shaking or hiding when I collected him which he usually does with other groomers. Now he looks very handsome with his lion cut and we plan to go back to her every few months. Her prices were the best we have had in the four years of having him groomed too!”

“Took Scooby for a groom and he came back looking spot on. I've tried a few groomers but because he can be a bit of a fidget at times, they didn't have the patience with him. I have to say though, Lisa handled him like a pro. Friendly service, great with dogs, and a proper good job. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.”
