“Donna and her husband we're Lovely, nothing was too much h trouble. Our room was super clean with the usual tea coffee hot chocolate, and biscuits. The bathroom was spotless with complementary washing ,showering and towels ect .And the breakfast was also excellent with a wide variety of things to choose from .5 stars no problem .”
“We stayed here for 4 nights last week. We loved it! The hotel celebrates people important to the area. We stayed in the John Cleaver suite (we got upgraded). The room and adjoining bathroom was beautiful. The owner has obviously put a great deal of thought and care into this hotel. I loved that it's not got a corporate identity and the quirkiness of it. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was incredible, with so much choice, we've never seen such a decadent breakfast in a hotel. Drinks and entertainment are available in the lounge in the evenings. We didn’t take advantage of this, purely because I have ME (chronic fatigue syndrome) and I needed to rest early in the evenings ahead of the next day's activities. Situated minutes from a bus stop for buses into the city. The hop on, hop off tour buses stop outside too. We had a wonderful stay - first time to Belfast but we will return!”
“I chose to stay here vs. a Premier Inn & I was so pleased I did!! Such lovely hosts, Avril & Terry. So friendly & welcoming. Granted the Inn is slightly dated but I like that, why does everything have to be so modern? It's beautifully quirky & my bed had its own postcode. So comfortable! Well needed after a long day travelling & working. The small touches of the alcohol fridge in the shared sitting room was lovely, along with the small extra touches such as a generous amount of teabags/sugar & milk in the room. Views are also beautiful. Such a lovely quiet, relaxing location. Would love to see it in the summer! The only down side was the power of the shower but that's not a major issue for me.”

“Great stay at Cordia apartments. Convenient location with a bus stop very close outside which takes you directly to the city centre. Basic straightforward accommodation at a reasonable price. Varnika and Nadine were really helpful and very responsive to any queries. Very impressed by the service.”
“I have stayed here many times and it has always been great. For the price you pay and the proximity to the city centre it’s hard to beat. Loving the added addition of the bar/restaurant downstairs. Staff are super friendly and helpful. will definitely return”
“Had a family meal and was out of this world . Chicken noddle soup to start and and chicken stack for main . 10/10. Kids meals perfect also . Our server (Caroline) went over and above to look after us as my wife is very fussy and always finds something to point out and Caroline took all on board and sorted it out perfectly. I would highly recommend this palce”
“I didn't stay, just called in to see a friend play. The food looks amazing and the staff are all lovely”
“great host both novelt his wife and the helper were very friendly gave us a good deal as we stayed an extra couple of nights © - huge property kids loved the backyard and the front garden you can also see the next door property's lambs”
“Great value for money. Location very central and bus stop nearby to the airport. Everything that was needed was in the room. Was a single traveller and very safe, excellent security and locks on rooms. Would stay again.”
“I have just returned home from a lovely nights stay at Somerton House. Its a lovely house, lots of character and charm. Our room was faultless, spotlessly clean (as is the rest of the house) plenty of clean towels, comfortable bed and warm. The family who run the house are very nice and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely too, plenty to choose from. The food was very nice and served piping hot and clearly made fresh to order. I would definitely stay at Somerton house again and certainly recommend to others.”
“We spend the weekend at the Culloden. The beautiful energy starts when you enter, the garden is beautiful, looked after with great care, and lovely statues that make a difference. The Hotel itself it's stunning, piano during lunch, before dinner... we have dinner at the Vespers restaurant, lovely, good food, staff attentive and kind. After dinner if you book a table at the bar, is a nice vibe to enjoy a good live music. We went to the gym and I can say it's a really really nice gym, well equipped, the pool , sauna and all the staff around there are kind. I truly recommend the experience there.”
“Enjoyed the Friday night steak deal for 2, including bottle of wine, bed and breakfast. Food was delicious and catered brilliantly for coeliac. The choices at breakfast were great and staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. There was entertainment on too which really sealed the deal for us. Definitely recommend.”
“Well ran. Lovely fresh room. Couldn't fault it”
“Best hostel I've been. You feel so welcome and comfortable there. The location, the service, the rooms - like everything was perfect. I'll come back for sure”
“Quick stop for a bit of lunch at Standing Stones on our way to Newry on Saturday afternoon. The food was delicious and it was severd up fairly quickly. The staff were first class, very friendly and helpful oh and the Guinness was top notch!! See you again soon, folks!”
“If you are visiting Belfast or nearby this is a much better option than the chain hotels. Early breakfast and check out is a bit early however the positive was it got us up to make the most of our visit.”
“Myself and my husband decided to stay here for our 1 year anniversary and it did not disappoint. The spa is absolutely amazing and not too over crowded, the food was fantastic. The service from all the staff from we checked in to we left was excellent. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the room was extremely warm, however there was a fan provided. But overall it was amazing and we will definitely return.”
“Rooms are small, but very comfortable and they had everything we needed. We stayed two nights. There is a free hour of street parking, and free from 5pm to 8am, so we parked on the street after 4pm and left before 9am. The location is wonderful. From the front door you can see Carrickfergus Castle - a block away. Food and service were very good. It's old world charm was especially felt in the cozy lobby and the nautical themed restaurant.”
“My friend and I visited Belfast for the first time. We came for a concert and hoped to get to know the city as well. Namaste Lodge lies in a quiet part of the city, nearby is a park, some nice restaurants and also a great bakery, where Paula gets bread for the guests as well. It is easy to go into town by bus or taxi, both are affordable. Namaste Lodge is also the home of 3 dogs, who are sweet and hospitable, they even allowed us to come to a walk on the beach with Paula, we had fun and Peppy later shared his due to chewing slowly desintegrating tennis bal with us, inviting us to play with him. Paula also booked a tour to the Giant causeway for us, and took us to a lovely lunch concert in The Black Box, and she shared lots of information with us about the city, which was very helpful and gave us many options. Thanks for all that, Paula! Highly recommended for a great time in Belfast.”
“Very nice little place on a quiet residential street about a mile and a half from the city centre. Plenty of shops nearby including a couple of large supermarkets, it's near a park and in easy reach of Yorkgate train station and local buses. Great value for money.”
“Wonderfully friendly people. Beautiful apartment. Immaculately clean. Great location. No negative things to say.”
“This is a nice and quiet b&b. I stayed with my husband and we booked a double room through Booking.com. Ashfield is very close to the airport, you can walk to the b&b in about 15 minutes. The b&b also has a bus stop right outside so you can get the bus into Belfast city centre in about 20 mins. It's a nice journey and you can see some of murals on the way. The room had everything you would expect. A nice comfy bed, tea making facilities, hairdryer and TV with lots of channels. The room was clean and warm. The bathroom was very big and had both a shower and bath with plenty of hot water. Breakfast is continental, so there's pastries, fruit, yoghurt, juice and hot drinks. We also had toast with cheese or jam and a boiled egg most days. We were allowed to use the kitchen in the evenings to warm up our own food in the microwave and eat at the table. There is a TV room downstairs and a garden area outside. The owner/manager is around during the day or can be contacted through the Ring doorbell if needed. I would stay here again, the location is perfect.”
“Just had 2 days at Ballinderry Inn, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful room, spacious and very comfortable. Had everything I needed, even a wee sewing kit. The owner was more than gracious, very helpful in all things. An amazing breakfast, wow. Would recommend to everyone. Thanks”
“My parter booked this place and the location was really good for what we needed. Close to the city and lots of places easily accessible. The bed was comfy and I was pleasantly surprised that oat milk was provided with the breakfast as a dairy alternative. Only 3 stars for service only as everything was autonomous, which is not a bad thing. It is a self check in and self service breakfast. I enjoyed it, would stay again”
“We've just arrived at the airport from a lovely stay here. We brought my dad and his wife for a nights stay at Mary's and it was amazing. You won't find a nicer host; her home is beautiful, clean and well kept and if when we get the chance to come back, we will be staying here again. Breakfast was lovely, the area was stunning. Absolutely no negatives from us. 6 very happy guests - Thank you again Mary! Keep doing what you're doing x”
“We have just stayed there . The Wylies is stunning. The rooms are beautiful. Neil and Rush are such lovely people. I would highly recommend the Wylies. I would advise more than a nights stay so you can take advantage of the sauna. Steam room a. Pool and hot tub. Worth every penny. The breakfast was first class”
“Some reviews have mentioned that the rooms are small, however our room (number 5) was very spacious. Beds were comfortable and it even had access to the balcony/fire exit. The bathroom was clean and modern. Breakfast was adequate for our needs and the staff were friendly and were eager to help. Our only downside would be perhaps the WiFi signal was weak in our room and was unreliable at times. Lastly, the breakfast from 8-10am is a bit late, it would've been helpful if it was earlier as we were heading out for a day trip first thing in the morning.”
“Town house was in a perfect location and in the centre of everything which was great and we're very happy with this. Rooms were smaller than we thought, but overall we cant complain with the price and location. Staff who we dealt with on our 2 nights stay were very helpful and very professional and nice without any hassle.”
“Our choice for the days we spend in Belfast, the house is beautiful, it is a 35-40 minute walk from the city center but it is an entertaining walk. The area is good and there is a shopping center nearby with different supermarkets and restaurants.”
