“An independent, family operated business which I have been using for many years. Conveniently located on Silver street next to the lidl's so free parking which is a bonus in Kings Heath. Great shop for DIY supplies, household goods, kitchen utensils, garden supplies and a variety of items that I have needed over the years. If they haven't got the item in stock they will usually get it in for you, if they can't, they will direct you to a place that does sell it which shows their customer focused ethics. My favourite thing about this shop has to be the plant selection, they have plants all year round but in the spring it really takes off. Houseplants, shrubs, climbers, vegetable plants, ferns, alocasias, philodendrans, succulents, difenbrachias, monsteras, hellebores, herb plants, peace lilies the list goes on! I've had plants for my garden, my home and as presents for friends. The prices are highly competitive which means I can buy several plants at a time and the owners have extensive knowledge so provide advice if needed. I highly recommend this shop and will be using for many years to come.”

“The item I went to buy did not have enough stock. However, the sales lady offered to go in the back and check the new delivery but still no luck so she went onto their system and checked which local stores were showing stock so that I wouldn't have a wasted journey going elsewhere. Excellent service in these days where everything seems to be rushed”

“Large shop, very clean and tidy. Some to several staff and all were knowledgeable and happy to help and chat about what we needed. Picked up a click and collect order with no trouble. Bought some great little bargains, note pads, envelopes, bubble machine, fence paint and brushes... I think they were due a restock as a few aisles had some empty shelves but all in all I would definitely shop here again.”

“Hello, I would sincerely like to commend your staff driver "kev" I was in a real pickle, I had purchased a very heavy fireplace from a residential property, I was on my own and I could never had lifted it!!! I stepped outside the property to see if there was anyone to help me, and I saw the Travis Perkins van, and kev was amazing he spent 20 mins helping me, getting it out of the property and into my car. Haps from the customer service team was particularly helpful, patient and reassuring, making sure they do everything possible to still meet the delivery deadline when there was a small issue with the worktop. “Recently hired a large dehumidifier from Jewson in Stechford. I needed it last minute to dry our an area of my home before new flooring was fitted. I called the branch, got through to the tool hire department easily and was pleased to hear I could go in and collect the unit straight away. The machine did the job, worked perfectly with no issues and was given advice on how to transport it and use it before I left. I did struggle to fit it in the car, and wanted to give a shout out to Jake in the branch who gave me his own bungee cord to secure the unit so I could get it home. He really saved the day as not quite sure how we would of got it home without this, thanks Jake! Top service from Jewson Stechford, will certainly be back if i need to hire tools going forward.”
