“I had a lovely experience of eating at Chelo. It's a Persian kitchen with authentic flavours and superb dining experience. I loved Chicken Koobideh with flat bread and fries as side. I loved their baklava and saffron ice cream. The staff was hospitable and welcoming. Paris who served me was professional and had superb customer service skills. I shall come here again.”

“I have eaten there two nights in a row. Lovely little dining room with a pub room separate. The menu is diverse, modern, and has all classics (but elevated). The food was perfect. Fresh, flavorful, and presented well. Big kudos to the chef and the staff there for what they are making for this quiet little town. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area.”

“I visited this restaurant last night for the first time. Wow it was better then anticipated. The restaurant interior is stunning very modern yet traditional touches. The food was something else, presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Lastly, the service was first class. Both waiters were so courteous, friendly and welcoming. I find it difficult to receive good food, service and atmosphere nowadays but this restaurant has it all! Will defiantly be returning and would highly recommend.”

Their food is seriously next level I mean, I've had some great meals before, but this place takes the most effort in The service is ridiculously fast and the staff are so nice, but trust me, the quality is there. The flavors are on point, the portions are generous I don't know what kind of things they're using, but it's working the trick for me to tell everybody about this place as it was amazing and I'm definitely coming back for more. Sakai had the ramen, the soup was thick and rich. service was super friendly and efficient. Overall, just a really solid spot with great food! It was also very affordable for what you got!!”

“Best restaurant experience I’ve had in Birmingham. Warm welcome into restaurant, helpful recommendations of food. The tea is beautiful, we ended up ordering two pots. Starters all so full of flavour, food came quickly. Mains really generous portions and meat cooked so well! You can see the team making all the food fresh. Service so friendly. And they made me feel so comfortable bringing my newborn in, even held him so I could eat. Made us feel right at home the whole time. Will be returning again and again.”

“Visited at the weekend during a busy period. We've eaten here many times before and its always been lovely, so the visit was disappointing. My daughter and I both ordered well-done sirloin steak, but both were extremely tough, chewy, and hard to cut, making them unenjoyable. The dish was also missing the tomato garnish. While the waitress was polite, the explanation given didn't really address the issue. However, the manager was amazing - very understanding and professional. Service overall was good, and the deserts were absolutely first class. We hope this was just a one-off, as previous visits have been excellent.”
