“The owners are so friendly and the food is very high quality. Its such a peaceful cosy atmosphere in the restaurant. I have eaten-in and had take out from here and both have been delicious. I'll definitely be coming again when I visit Birmingham next!”

“What a fantastic find! We aren’t local but were in Solihull looking for somewhere to eat and discovered Mama Earth. First of all, the menu is amazing - it’s difficult to chose from so many delicious vegan dishes. We ended up with lasagne and roast potatoes and gourmet Mac n cheez and both were superb. A similarly wide choice of deserts and some adventurous (for us) mushroom tea made for a very memorable meal. In addition, Stella and Steve are such wonderful hosts, we genuinely felt like friends by the time we left. We will certainly return whenever we are in the Birmingham area.”

“Me and my husband took my mom and his aunty here for an afternoon tea. Tables were clean, lovely decor, and we all very much enjoyed our food. The staff called me ahead of time and to go through the sandwich choices, there was plenty of tea given, food selection of cakes too. Would definitely visit again ☺️”

“I have been a regular since Simla opened, I have never had a bad meal in that time, I am greeted like family when I go in, and it’s a place where you can relax and just enjoy yourself. I don’t usually recommend a single meal but the Chicken Chilli Khybari is well worth a punt!!”

Whilst initially disappointed to discover the pub did not have Sky Sports to watch our team Birmingham City play Wrexham, we had a most amazing evening. Dave and Kate were excellent hosts and made my birthday one to remember. Would definitely recommend to others and will definitely be visiting again soon.”

From the moment I was seated, Saf was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. “Went with my wife to celebrate my birthday, the venue is recently under new management its clean and reasonably well decorated, it was only two of us the service was excellent along with food . Yakub who served us was very friendly and helpful, fully licensed and very good selection of vegetarian, vegan & nonveg food in starters a d main meal. Will definitely visit this venue again. “I went there with a couple of friends and we had such a great time! Alex, who looked after our table, was super nice and really took great care of us. The service was awesome. The food was delicious, and the drinks were just as good. I had the nonocolada that Mo made—it was amazing! Mo was also really sweet and friendly to us.”

“Had an opportunity to go to this restaurant to eat last night. The food was delicious. Cooked to perfection, the service provided was exemplary, the prices were very economical. My daughter's ordered wraps and burgers and they were amazed at how delicious they were. I ordered a beef platter with a chips as a side. The beef was cooked to perfection with caramalised onions and a pepper sauce. The beef strips were lovely and succulent, not chewy at all, the spices were just right. The waiting time for the food was just right, it was well worth the wait. We needed to say our prayers and the management very easily accommodated us and we're very welcoming. I would highly recommend this lovely place to everyone.”

“Noels Bar – Best Italian Restaurant in Birmingham! Noels is hands down the best Italian fine dining spot in Birmingham. It’s a shame the location isn’t more central because I truly believe more people need to discover this hidden gem. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was elegant, and the service from Wicktoria was outstanding – she made the whole experience for my mom even more special. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely amazing – one of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had. The sizzler dish was outstanding, with an incredibly flavourful selection of perfectly grilled meats. The butter chicken was also excellent: juicy chicken, generous portions, and rich, creamy flavour. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, and the staff really stood out. A special shoutout to Haniah on till 1 – an absolute legend. He looked after us brilliantly, going above and beyond with thoughtful touches like bringing extra napkins and takeaway boxes before we even had to ask. That kind of care really made the visit feel special. Even the leftovers were delicious the next day! One small tip: bring cash if you’d like to leave a tip as service charge isn’t included and it can’t be added to the card payment. Highly recommend – I’ll definitely be coming back.”

“We had our Civil Partnership (like a wedding, just non-religious) at the Distillery in September 2025. I can't say enough positive words about how great everything was. From the very first meeting, Chelsea and Jack were absolute professionals and made organising the whole day feel simple, achievable and organised. We had over 100 guests over the course of the day, with sit-down meals, buffets, drinks and more to figure out. The team at the Distillery spent lots of time helping us to plan all of this, asked great questions we hadn't thought of, and accommodated all of our requests and gave advice when we weren't sure. The venue is brilliant and our guests kept commenting on how perfect it was. The food was great too and the service in particular was fantastic: the team ensured that my partner and I didn't need to worry about anything on the day, and they were discreet, helpful and friendly. We had 20 children running around the venue at some points of the day – difficult to handle at the best of times, but the Distillery handled it flawlessly. We were super happy with every aspect of the day and couldn't have picked a better venue. If you're considering having a wedding or similar celebration, definitely consider the Distillery! Great location, beautiful venue, fantastic food/drink and the staff will look after you and make sure it goes exactly how you want it to.”

“A great place to visit for drinks and food. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. On this particular occasion we went for Sunday lunch, the portion sizes are very generous and well presented. The only disappointing thing was the roast potatoes. Normally they have been excellent, but on this occasion, we found them to be a little bit dry. Fortunately this didn't determine from the rest of the meal which was very good.”

“We have an annual meal here and it couldn’t be a more ideal setting. The food is beautiful and the staff are always accommodating of our ‘loud’ family and theatrics. The French onion soup was the best, but this has been overtaken by the pate this year (2025). Go at Christmas”

“The food in here is delicious! Cooked to order as I’ve ordered different curries on different occasions milder than on the menu and they’ve done this for me no problem. The service in terms of bringing food out is a bit slower but it’s to be expected to be when cooking such delicious food. Our 2 year old daughter enjoys the food in here too.”
