Shared starter platter with traditional Persian dishes, Grilled Halloumi with Saffron rice, Rose tea and Saffron/Pistachio ice cream for dessert… And some original artwork…”

“Great spot for a quick bite. You can pick dishes from the conyevor belt that are colour coded. There are altnerive things such as rice, noodles, sushi, and a strong range of sauces and flavours. Lots of range even if you have allergens or anything. Staff are so polite and kind! I would definitely recommend this spot if I could only choose one place to eat in the bullring.”

“Haven't been for a while. Visited last night and it better than before a good food selection. All the food was nice. Butter chicken masala, sweet and sour chicken and beef in cantonese sauce were favourites. Also the freshly cooked wok noodles were amazing cooked to the spice that you request and the chef was very polite and informative. We would definitely go again. Fantastic price aswell”

I found this great local company following some research for someone to design and build some alcove cupboards / shelving to finish off a renovation of my Edwardian mansion apartment. From start to finish they were just brilliant and the great help of their designer took the final product to another level and surpassed anything that the ‘big’ companies could ever offer and at a wholly reasonable price. I have recommended them to many friends after the ‘wow’ comments. My only regret is that i didn't find them sooner to do my kitchen renovation instead of having to endure the horror of WREN kitchens!!!”

We ordered Fahsa, Lahsa, eggs, Foul, and Shakshuka — each one bursting with flavor and depth. The Fahsa came bubbling in its clay pot, tender meat swimming in rich, spiced broth. The Lahsa was creamy, comforting, and full of soul. You could tell right away these recipes came from tradition, not trend. The Foul was perfectly seasoned, earthy, and satisfying — the kind of dish that makes you slow down and appreciate every bite. The Shakshuka, meanwhile, had that perfect balance of tangy tomato and rich egg, each spoonful a little celebration of morning done right. Even the eggs, simple as they sound, were cooked perfectly and seasoned with care. Then came the Chai Adani — and that sealed it. Strong, sweet, spiced just right — the kind of tea that makes conversation last longer and mornings feel softer. You could honestly come here just for that tea and walk out happy. The staff were kind, attentive, and down-to-earth. There was no rush, no fake smiles — just genuine service that made the whole experience feel personal. It wasn’t just about eating; it was about being welcomed, being reminded that food can carry culture and warmth across oceans. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Al Yemen As-Saeed is more than a restaurant — it’s a taste of home, a reminder of how powerful food can be when made with heart.
